The formidable Skirk makes her grand debut as a main DPS in Genshin Impact Version 5.7, bringing a unique energy mechanic similar to Mavuika according to trusted leaker HXG.

Skirk is said to be the mysterious swordswoman who was Tartaglia's master during his time in the Abyss. She first appeared during the Fontaine Archon Quest—right after the Traveler and Neuvillette took down the All-Devouring Narwhal. She made a big entrance, showing off her insane combat skills—and dropping hints about the mysterious “Outlanders from beyond this world.”

Elemental Skill

Skirk gains 40 Serpent’s Cunning and enters “Sevenfold Flash” mode. In this state, Skirk’s Normal Attacks are enhanced. Serpent’s Cunning gradually decays over time; when it drops to 0, Skirk exits Sevenfold Flash mode.

 

Elemental Burst – Catalysmic Art: Ruin

Skirk’s Burst doesn’t consume Energy, but instead uses Serpent’s Cunning.

If she has at least 50 Cunning, she can consume all of it to unleash her Burst.

The more Cunning consumed, the greater the Burst’s damage.

 

Passive Talent 1: Return to Oblivion

When a Hydro character in the party deals Hydro DMG, or a Cryo character (excluding Skirk) deals Cryo DMG, Skirk gains 1 stack of “Styx Severance” (lasts 18s, max 3 stacks, durations tracked separately).

Each stack increases her Normal DMG in Sevenfold Flash by 10% / 20% / 70%, and her Burst DMG by 5% / 15% / 60%.

In Passive Talent 1, the damage increases are additive and separate from general DMG Bonus modifiers—they’re not part of the regular DMG% bonus category.

It’s assumed to function similarly to Xingqiu’s C4.

 

Passive Talent 2: Reason Beyond Reason

When nearby party members trigger Freeze, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, or Cryo Crystalize, Skirk creates a “Phantom Rift” near the enemy (CD: 2.5s, max 3).

When Skirk’s Charged Attack hits an enemy in Sevenfold Flash, she absorbs nearby Phantom Rifts, gaining 8 Serpent’s Cunning per Rift.

 

Additional Info

• Skirk loses at least 30% DMG if the team isn't made of only Hydro/Cryo characters, it's a MV multiplier
• Her C2 is not good
• Best team comps: Skirk + Escoffier+ Furina + Yelan or Shenhe
• She persisrs off-field, but still decays over time even when she's not active

Base ATK: 608 | CRIT Rate: 33.1%

Skirk's weapon boosts both ATK and CRIT DMG.

 

Skirk Artifact Set

Skirk's signature set is probably the new artifact set that was added in Genshin Impact Version 5.5.

2-Pc: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%

4-Pc: When you have 0 Energy, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 40% and Elemental Burst DMG is increased by 40%. After dealing one of these kinds of DMG, the effect corresponding to the other kind will stop applying for 6s. This effect can trigger even if the equipping character is off the field.

 

Skirk Constellation

C1: When Skirk's Charged Attack retrieves the "Phantom Rift", it deals additional AoE DMG.

C2: Increases the special energy obtained from E, and improves the DMG of Normal attack by ?%.
