What we have
Unlock Conditions
Once Trailblazers have achieved full-star records in Stage 12 of Memory of Chaos, Stage 4 of Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow at Difficulty 4 (these can be completed in different versions), the new challenge mode will be unlocked. Prepare for a showdown against formidable foes.
Stages Consists
"Anomaly Arbitration" consists of three trial stages and one final stage.
Trailblazers must form three separate teams to take on the trial stages. After completing them, Trailblazers will be able to assemble any characters into a team to challenge the even more challenging final stage.
Star Requirement
Knight Cycles: 6
- Achieve victory in no more than 4 Cycles
- Achieve victory in no more than 2 Cycles
- Have no downed characters
Normal Stages
Knight I
Resilient Armor
Enemy target initially has 2 stacks of "Resilient Armor", and each stack reduces damage taken by 15%. Enemy targets lose 1 stack of "Resilient Armor" each time their Toughness is reduced to 0.
Recommend team: Break team
Knight II
Weakness: Fire & Imaginary & Wind
Resistance: Physical & Lightning & Ice & Quantum Frozen50% & Entanglement50%
Tempering
For every 1% HP the enemy target loses, CRIT DMG dealt to them is reduced by 3%.
Recommend team: DOT Teams
Knight III
Weakness: Physical & Quantum & Wind
Resistance: Fire & Lightning & Ice & Imaginary
Inversion
Each time an enemy target receives an attack, they deal Physical DMG equal to 40% of their ATK to the attacker. This damage is non-fatal.
Under Protection
All non-elite enemy targets won't have their HP and Toughness reduced, and increases their Effect RES by 100%. When all elite enemy targets are defeated, remaining enemy targets will also be eliminated.
Recommend team: Single-target team
Final Stage
Checkmate
- Inversion+
Each time an enemy target receives an attack, they deal Physical DMG equal to 60% of their ATK to the attacker. This damage is non-fatal.
- Energy Absorption
When an enemy target receives an attack, reduces the attacker's Energy by 2 points, except when the attacker's Energy is maxed. When an enemy target is defeated, the attacker regenerates 10 Energy.
- Sunder
When ally targets are being attacked by enemies, the "Sunder" effect will be inflicted on them. Each stack increases the DMG received by the holders by 6%, stacking up to 10 times. This effect cannot be dissipated. After targets with "Sunder" received a Shield from an ally target other than themselves or healing, 3 stack(s) of the effect is dispelled on both targets.
Checkmate: Zugzwang

Strategy
For the first three paths on Normal difficulty, you can use three types of teams: Firefly’s Break team, a DoT team, and a direct-damage team.
After clearing the three normal stages, you’ll reach the most important final floor. This stage has two versions—here we’ll talk about the simpler one.
Buffs:
The first buff basically requires Phainon, Castorice, Acheron and Feixiao. It triggers when the number of allies ≠ 4. It’s unclear if Memosprite units count—if they do, then more characters could be used.
The other two buffs aren’t very restrictive: one works well with characters like The Herta and the other requires a survival unit.
Debuffs:
- Enemies bounce back damage. Without a survival unit, it’s tough to clear.
- Energy gets reduced, but it won’t trigger if your energy is full. Also, defeating an enemy restores 10 Energy.
- When allies are hit, they gain a DoT effect—6% damage per stack, up to 10 stacks. Healing or shielding removes 3 stacks at a time.
Rewards
In this gameplay, Trailblazers will have a chance to obtain special leveling items, limited-time avatar frames, redeemable outfits, and more as rewards.
There are no Stellar Jade rewards, and the reason is simple: just unlocking it requires getting full stars in all three “Abyss” stages. Clearing it demands three different teams to complete 3+1 stages, which makes it even harder than fully clearing the current Abyss. Some players might not be able to finish it.
So why release it without Stellar Jade? The idea is simply to give players more content to enjoy. While it doesn’t offer Stellar Jade, it does provide character development materials and cosmetic rewards, which help with progression and let you show off new decorations.
Conclusion
The difficulty is still there—especially since the final boss is already strong and can stack some pretty annoying debuffs. But for free-to-play players, the rewards from the first three floors are already quite generous. There’s really no need to force yourself to take down the boss. But since there are no Stellar Jade rewards, it’s fine if you don’t fully clear it—or even skip it entirely. There’s no need to feel pressured about strength.
