New Themed Mode: Steampunk Frontier
Strampunk Frontier is a new limited-time mode in version 3.8, featuring fresh locations, items, mechanics, and loot systems, plus a major Attack on Titan collab.
Map Areas
- Aetherholm:
A large central train station with various recreational facilities for passengers. Within the main building, there is an elevator that brings you to a secret room in the clock tower. Players can summon a train carrying special cargo to arrive at the train platform.
- Cargo Hub:
A cargo transit station consisting of a large and small urban area. Players can quickly move between the areas via the tracks.
- Hot Air Balloons:
Glide from aerial observation stations situated along the railway or in the wilderness. Players can take to the air in a hot air balloon to keep an eye on the enemy.
- Train Platform:
A small train station in rural areas.
- Rollercoaster Checkpoint:
Enjoy an adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster ride with friends and snap a photo at the top to capture the memory!
Gameplay Mechanics
- Giant Steam Trains:
There is an Epoch Cargo Train and Express Train that each travel along designated routes. Get aboard the trains to travel on them.
- Epoch Cargo Train:
The Epoch Cargo Train will stop in Aetherholm, where it can also be summoned. After some time, the train will arrive and a mechanical grab will drop off the supplies. The train will then depart for the next stop on the map.
- Express Train:
A train that travels continuously in a loop around the area that can be used for transportation. It will stop at Cargo Hubs and Train Platforms for a short time before moving on.
A Mechanical Cache can be found in the driver's cabin, and the locomotive is connected to a lounge cabin and passenger cabin.
- Clockwork Attendant:
Spend tokens to buy drinks from clockwork attendants on the trains and in Aetherholm. Drinks will replenish all of your Health and Energy, and provide a slight buff.
- Clockwork Merchant:
Purchase supplies from clockwork merchants at train platforms in Aetherholm and Cargo Hubs.
- Driver's Cab:
There is a Steam Supply Crate in the driver's cab of the Epoch Cargo Train. It is replenished every time the train arrives at a station.
A Mechanical Cache can be found inside the driver's cab of the Express Train. Solve the simple clockwork puzzle to obtain the supplies inside.
- Lucky Cog Machine:
Use tokens to draw supplies from the cog machine.
- Wooden Crate:
There are destructible crates scattered around that can be used for cover. They may drop supplies when destroyed.
PUBG M x Attack on Titan
The Steampunk Frontier mode turbocharges the game with all-new steam train mechanics and drops a huge collab bomb with Attack on Titan. This thrilling new mode collab with Attack on Titan! It's packed with giant Titans, massive trains, intricate clockwork puzzles, and one-of-a-kind traversal mechanics for an unforgettable gaming experience.
Themed Items
- Mechanical Grappling Hooks:
This special gear can be obtained from crates, picked up from the ground, and purchased from shops. Equip it to fly around.
- Giant Transformation:
The Giant Transformation skill turbocharges your combat power. Pop a special serum to balloon in size, instantly loading up on Health and mobility.
Need to reposition fast? Hit the leap ability and rocket to a target spot, hammering enemies with impact damage upon arrival. And when you're in the thick of it, unleash those melee attacks—your supersized fists will wreck anything in reach.

It's not like before, when only passengers could use weapons. You can now fire one-handed firearms while driving motorcycles. The vehicle will keep moving while doing so.
