What is 2025 PMWC？

The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 will be the official mid-seasonal world tournament for PUBG Mobile (and its variants) organized by Level Infinite & Krafton, as part of the 2025 Esports World Cup.The exciting event will take place from July 25th to August 3rd at Boulevard City in Riyadh.

Watch as the world's top 24 PUBG Mobile teams gather in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to compete for a US$3 million prize pool in the most unforgettable esports event of the summer.

 

2025 PMWC Schedule

It will be held from 25 July to 3 August 2025.

 

2025 PMWC Format

Phase 1- Group Stage: July 25th - 27th, 2025

• 24 teams, divided into 3 groups of 8.

• 18 matches (6 each day).
  • Each group play 12 matches overall.
• Top 8 teams advance to Grand Finals.
• Bottom 16 teams advance to Survival Stage.
• Each day features 6 matches, played on the maps: Sanhok, Erangel, and Miramar.

Phase 2 - Survival Stage: July 29th - 30th, 2025

• 16 teams.
• 12 matches (6 each day).
• Top 8 teams advance to Grand Finals.
• Bottom 8 teams are eliminated.

Phase 3 - Grand Finals: August 1st - 3rd, 2025

• 16 teams:
  • Top 8 teams from Group Stage.
  • Top 8 teams from Survival Stage.
• 18 matches (6 each day).
• Smash Rule is applied in Day 3 of the Grand Finals.

👑 Grand Finals & Smash Rule

Only one team will claim the crown by the Smash Rule.

Smash Rule：

Step 1

• A team must reach or exceed the Match Point Target on the ranking.
• Match Point Target = the total points of the team ranked first + 10 points

Step 2

• After reaching the target，win on any of the remaining maps during grand finals day three to become the 2025 PMWC champion.
• If no team achieves this after all team maps, the team with the most points on the ranking will be crowned champion.

 

Game Rewards

The event offers a wide range of in-game rewards, including the PMWC avatar frame, the Esports Passion Set, the Esports Passion Parachute, and various other items.

How to Participate

1. Go to the Pandora event page via the lobby's Esports Event Center to join the event.

2. Representatives from five major regions will guide you through the five parts of the event

• Prediction Rewards
  • You can earn up to 2,870 Esports Tokens from the Prediction Event.
  • The prediction event takes place from July 23rd to August 5th and has three rounds matching the tournament stages.

• Esports Shop
• Themed Outfit
• Champion Challenge

Join the activities to earn Esports Tokens, which can be redeemed in the Esports Shop.

Esports Tokens do not expire and can be used in future events.
