3.5 First Half Up

Hysilens

Hysilens

Hysilens is the latest DoT unit in the game and is very powerful. She has revived DoT all on her own alongside the buffs. Basically, everything she does is dot-based. She enhances all the damage you do on the enemy with one of her talent or skill abilities.

In this case, if you have Kafka, Black Swan in your team, then Hysilens could be a solid choice as the third character of the DoT team. Hysilens combines Kafka and Black Swan's mechanics, delivering both damage and buffs to bridge the gap in team coordination. Also, with Kafka being able to activate the DoTs that she applies, Hysilens can perform a lot better. She can address the team's weaknesses to make it more well-rounded and competitive.

Should you pull Hysilens?

1. Hysilens mainly strengthens existing Kafka-Black Swan DoT teams. For newer players, pulling her isn't a priority.

2. After Kafka’s recent power-up, DoT teams regained solid strength. Hysliens’ addition makes them consistently clear tough content. But she isn’t a meta-defining unit pull only if you love DoT playstyles.

3. Hysilens essentially patches DoT teams’ stat gaps. Best suited for those with full DoT rosters who've invested heavily. If you just want minor upgrades, wait for now.

Pull value:★★☆☆☆(Generally not recommended)

3.5 Second Half Up

Cerydra

Cerydra

Essentially, Cerydra is not as valuable as a character like Robin in the current, but still a very powerful buffer. Harmony units typically provide Ultimates with effects like Crit DMG boosts or Skill Point regeneration. Her Ultimate, however, is primarily a heavy damage hit. Her core mechanic allows allies to perform additional Skills, while granting a minor buff to one unit. You then build stacks via Skills and Basic Attacks. Despite lacking Action Advance capabilities, she delivers a unique double-skill mechanic—Once enough stacks are accumulated, you can effectively double your Skill usage. If you want your main DPS to deal significantly more damage, you're going to absolutely love this.

Currently, Phainon is the character most reliant on his Skill, yet he lacks a truly dedicated support. Cerydra’s arrival significantly boosts Phainon’s enhanced Skill damage output during his Transformation Phase. Whichever enhanced Skill gets double-cast, the final gains are substantial. Therefore, for Phainon players who have pulled him and plan to invest heavily in him, Cerydra holds very high pulling value.

Beyond this, Anaxa also synergizes decently with Cerydra. However, Anaxa doesn’t have much room for significant improvement, making her synergy slightly less cost-effective. This is particularly true if you already have Robin and a highly optimized team, where adding Cerydra becomes far less essential.

Should you pull Cerydra?

1. If you already have Phainon, Anaxa or both, consider pulling for Cerydra; otherwise, it’s not recommended.

2. As a Skill-focused support, Cerydra has a relatively narrow scope of application. In contrast, Tribbie boasts exceptional versatility and remains highly competitive even when directly compared within Cerydra's own niche strengths. Therefore, while Cerydra possesses solid power, her limited versatility is an unavoidable drawback. If you already have suitable support characters, pulling for a Harmony unit with lower versatility may not be worth it. As always, the decision should depend on your specific account roster.

Pull value: ★★★☆☆ (Worth Considering)

3.5 First Half Rerun

Kafka

Kafka

As the absolute core of DoT teams, Kafka received significant buffs in Version 3.4, now offering well-rounded support capabilities that enhance DoT detonation while boosting the entire team's ATK.

However, current DoT team performance remains merely decent — even with environmental buffs, they aren’t top-tier. Furthermore, since DoT teams now operate as triple-DPS cores (with Kafka, Black Swan, and Hysilens all being essential components), these units cannot be flexibly slotted into other team compositions. This results in a relatively higher investment cost for building a functional DoT squad.

Should you pull Kafka?

1. If you have Black Swan or is planning to pull Hysilens, then pull her.

2. For Trailblazers without Kafka, there's little reason to invest in building a DoT team now. With SP March 7th and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae releasing consecutively in Version 3.6, plus the highly promising Cyrene on the horizon, your best strategy this version is to focus on saving resources for future banners.

Pull value:★☆☆☆☆(Not recommended)

3.5 Second Half Rerun

Silver Wolf

Silver_Wolf

Silver Wolf is a pretty decent support unit in a lot of teams. She has an AoE ultimate, which does universal DEF Shred to everybody on the field. She has a variety of different characters that she can work with. She’s actually a universal debuffer who can to fit into a variety of scenarios.

Silver Wolf was once an underwhelming support plagued by clunky mechanics. However, her Version 3.4 enhancements transformed her Ultimate into an AoE DEF Shred ability, significantly increased the base chance of all her skills, and even optimized her energy cycle. Combined with her inherently solid stats, she has now evolved into a quality support character fully competitive in the 3.0 meta environment.

Acheron is Silver Wolf's best teammate. Pairing them creates a strong composition. While you can invest in Crit Rate and DMG, it's not essential. For Silver Wolf herself, prioritize Speed and Effect Hit Rate—focus on these, and she'll be solid.

Should you pull Silver Wolf?

1. If you unlock Silver Wolf's Eidolon 1, equipping her signature 4-star Light Cone can even give her decent damage output. For Trailblazers who already had Silver Wolf before, this makes her worth bringing out again.

2. For Trailblazers who have pulled strong supports like Tribbie, Cipher, etc. since Version 3.0, you likely don't need Silver Wolf right now. However, if you're still short on support characters and have spare Stellar Jades, you could consider pulling for her.

Pull value: ★★★☆☆ (Worth Considering)

Conclusion

Overall, none of the four rate-up characters in Version 3.5 are particularly must-pull additions. They primarily serve as non-essential upgrades to existing team compositions. Among them, Cerydra stands out as the most valuable option — functioning as Phainon’s dedicated support.

Ultimately, if your current Stellar Jade reserves are limited, Version 3.5 presents an excellent opportunity to focus on saving. Prioritize stockpiling resources for future powerhouse characters like SP March 7th instead.
