WuWa 2.8 New Characters
Phase 1: Chisa

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐| Element: Havoc | Weapon: Broadblade
This new Resonator embodies a classic anime-style schoolgirl design—long black hair, striking crimson eyes, a traditional black JK uniform, and sleek black leg garters. As Wuthering Waves' first JK-inspired character, she blends Japanese aesthetics with the game's post-apocalyptic flair. LDShop also noticed that Chisa's uniform shows deliberate wear and tear: a tattered cape, a frayed skirt, bandages wrapped around her fingers and thighs—all hinting at her combat-ready nature. This girl clearly means business!
Her weapon is a unique Broadblade, designed to look like a calibrated sewing scissor-blade with sharp edges and intricate markings. Wielding this impressive blade, Chisa is confirmed to be a Havoc-attribute Resonator, fitting her fierce combat-ready appearance.
Chisa is a designated Support for Negative Status team, providing healing, damage boosts, DEF reduction and crowd control. Chisa's kit enhance team performance through Havoc Bane effect, and her signature weapon and Echo set further amplidy her power. If you lack of support and healer like her, don’t miss out on her, I think she would be the next Shorekeeper.

Phase 2: Buling

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐| Element: Electro | Weapon: Rectifier
Buling is a 4-star Electro Resonator focused on sustain and team utility. Her Heavy Attack and Outro Skill restore HP, keeping aggressive rotations safe, while her kit buffs allies’ Resonance Skills to smooth burst windows and raise overall consistency. As another new 4-star in Version 2.8, she slots cleanly into skill-centric and Electro comps, delivering low-commitment heals and flexible buffs without breaking tempo. WuWa 2.8 Rerun Characters
Phase 1: Phoebe

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐| Element: Spectro | Weapon: Rectifier
Phoebe is a versatile Spectro unit who uses the Spectro Frazzle debuff to boost team damage. Her Outro Skill lowers enemies' Spectro resistance, while her Resonance Skill provides crowd control. She switches between two modes: Confession (support/sub-DPS) to apply Frazzle, and Absolution (main DPS) to deal amplified damage to afflicted enemies. Though adaptable, her power relies heavily on maintaining Spectro Frazzle, making her somewhat situational.
Phase 2: Phrolova

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐| Element: Havoc | Weapon: Rectifier
Phrolova is a 5-star Havoc Resonator who excels as both a damage dealer and support. By generating Volatile Notes, she powers her ultimate to unleash wide AoE Havoc damage while summoning Hecate to amplify attacks. Her Outro Skill boosts allies' Havoc and Heavy Attack damage, giving her strong synergy in Havoc teams. Though powerful, she requires precise note management and coordination to perform at her best.
Phase 2: Cantarella

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐| Element: Havoc | Weapon: Rectifier
Cantarella is a Havoc Rectifier who serves as an off-field sub-DPS and healer. Using her Mirage State from Trance, she delivers steady damage and continuous healing. Her Resonance Liberation deals coordinated strikes over time, letting main DPS stay active. By building Shiver stacks, she triggers finishers that heal allies and enhance Havoc damage. Though timing-dependent, she offers strong sustain and utility with minimal field time.
