Let’s be real — equipment is one of the most misunderstood systems in Palmon: Survival. Players pour resources into the wrong gear, craft items they could have gotten for free, and completely miss the strategic depth that separates a decent account from a dominant one.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly how the equipment system works, which gear to prioritize, how to spend your Dreamium wisely, and the long-term strategy that will have your Palmons outlasting everyone else’s. Let’s get into it.

Understanding the Equipment System

Understanding the Equipment System

The equipment system in Palmon: Survival is your primary way of boosting your Palmons’ stats outside of leveling and star advancement. Each Palmon can equip four pieces of gear, and each piece contributes to three core stats: HP,Defense, and Attack.

The key insight? Not all stats are created equal. While many players instinctively chase attack power, the smart money is on survivability. Here’s why:

  • HP keeps your Palmons alive longer
  • Defense reduces the damage they take
  • Attack only matters if your Palmon survives long enough to use it

If you dump everything into attack and your Palmon gets swarmed and eliminated first, all that offensive power goes to waste. Build for longevity, and your squad will outlast the opposition every single time.

The Four Equipment Types — And Which to Craft First

There are four legendary equipment types in the game:

Equipment

Primary Focus

Energy Barrier

HP (highest)

Mask of Justice

HP

Amulet

HP

Staff

Attack / Defense

The Energy Barrier is widely considered the best equipment in the game. It offers the highest HP boost of any gear piece, making it the undisputed first priority for any serious player.

Your crafting priority should follow this order:

  • Energy Barrier— maximum HP
  • Mask of Justice— strong HP
  • Amulet— solid HP
  • Staff— attack and defense (lowest priority)

This isn’t just my opinion — it’s the mathematically sound approach. HP and defense give you consistent value in every fight. Attack gives you conditional value that only pays off if your Palmon stays alive.

The 20-Equipment Blueprint for Your First Squad

Here’s where the long-term strategy comes in. Your first squad — your best Palmons, your highest levels, your strongest skills — needs four legendary equipment pieces per Palmon. With five Palmons per squad, that’s 20 legendary equipment pieces total.

The 20-Equipment Blueprint for Your First Squad

Here’s the exact blueprint:

  • Craft five Energy Barriers(one for each Palmon)
  • Craft five Masks of Justice
  • Craft five Amulets
  • Craft five Staves

Once your first squad is fully decked out, move on to your second squad, then your third. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Play the long game, and you’ll come out ahead.

Never Waste Dreamium on Purple or Blue Gear

Never Waste Dreamium on Purple or Blue Gear

This is one of the most common — and costly — mistakes I see players make.

Do not craft purple or blue equipment using Dreamium.Period.

You can get purple and blue gear completely for free by:

  • Raiding other players’ airships
  • Participating in events
  • Clearing Idolands

I equipped myentireroster with purple gear in under two weeks using only these methods. Not a single Dreamium was spent on non-legendary crafting.

Why does this matter? Because Dreamium is your most precious resource for legendary equipment. Every Dreamium you waste on purple or blue gear is a Dreamium youdon’thave for your Energy Barriers. And here’s the kicker — there’s currently no way to dismantle crafted equipment and get your Dreamium back. That purple gear you crafted? It’s yours forever. Make it count.

Save your Dreamium. Craft only legendary.

Upgrading vs. Ascending — Two Different Paths

Equipment progression inPalmon: Survivalhas two distinct systems, and understanding the difference is crucial.

Upgrading vs. Ascending — Two Different Paths

Upgrading (Leveling)

Upgrading increases your equipment’s base stats — more HP, more Defense, more Attack. You do this using Temperites and lower-tier equipment as fodder.

For example, taking a piece from level 40 to level 60 gives you a noticeable stat bump. I personally like rounding everything to level 60 — it’s a clean number and the stats at that level are solid. There’s no special “superpower” at 60, but the stat gain is real and worth pursuing.

Ascending (Star Levels)

Ascending unlocks powerful new attributes. You do this using Opus Pebbles, which you can obtain from events, the Prestige Shop, and various other sources.

Your first priority should be ascending all your legendary equipment to three stars. Why? Because three stars unlocks a 30,000 HP bonus on each piece. That’s massive. Stack that across five Palmons and you’re looking at an extra 150,000 HP for your entire squad.

HP first. Always HP first.

Where to Get Dreamium

Dreamium

Dreamium is the lifeblood of your legendary equipment crafting. Here are the best ways to farm it:

Dreamium Seivers (Passive Production)

These four buildings next to your Equipment Smithy produce Dreamium passively over time.Prioritize leveling these up.The higher their level, the more Dreamium they produce, and the faster you hit that 5,000 Dreamium threshold for your next legendary craft.

Dreamium

The Aidelain World Boss

Aidelain is the last world boss in your camp, and it’s a Dreamium goldmine. To get the most out of it:

  • Donate Feathers(earned from the Sandstorm Scuffle event)
  • Donate Cookies(all your cookies should go to Aidelain first)

Each donation gives you gifts, and those gifts include Dreamium. Max out Aidelain’s gift level before moving on to other world bosses. Each boss offers different rewards — one gives speed-ups, another gives resources — but Aidelain gives Dreamium, and that’s your top priority early on.

Shops

You can also buy Dreamium from:

  • G Shop— refreshes every week
  • VIP Shop— but I don’t recommend this (save your Pallites for VIP progression)
  • Prestige Shop— only after you’ve bought out the priority items (UR tokens and Mount Shoes)

Shops

VIP — The Hidden Equipment Multiplier

Here’s something a lot of players overlook:VIP level directly impacts your long-term account power, and that includes your equipment effectiveness.

VIP Level

UR Omni Tokens Per Day

VIP 10

1 token

VIP 12

2 tokens

VIP 14

3 tokens

At VIP 14, you’re getting roughly 90 UR Omni Tokens per month completely for free. These tokens are essential for advancing the star levels of your legendary Palmons. More stars = more stats = better use of your equipment.

I’m at 70 million power with VIP 10 because I’ve been focusing my Pallites on VIP progression. Yet I see players at 150 million or even 200 million power stuck at VIP 7 or 8. That’s a massive missed opportunity.

Push for VIP 14 as fast as you can.The daily UR tokens alone are worth it, and the passive stat bonuses for your Palmons are icing on the cake.

Temperites — Easy to Get, Easy to Spend

Temperites are used to upgrade your equipment’s level. Unlike Dreamium, they’re abundant. You can get them from:

  • Events
  • Raiding airships
  • Assisting guild members
  • Idolands
  • Guild Shop
  • Prestige Shop

Because they come from so many sources, the Alchemy Labs that produce Temperites aren’t a high-priority upgrade. Focus your building resources on the Dreamium Seivers first. Temperites will come naturally through gameplay.

The Combine and Recycling Tabs

Combine

The Combine tab lets you merge lower-tier Dreamium into higher tiers, eventually reaching Dreamium V. Just let them accumulate until you hit 5,000, then craft your next legendary piece.

Recycling

You won’t need this tab — and here’s why. Since you’re only crafting legendary equipment and getting your purple/blue gear for free, there’s nothing to recycle. And even if there were, the game currently doesn’t let you dismantle equipment to get Dreamium back. So craft wisely from the start.

Conclusion

Build your Barriers. Stack your HP. Push your VIP. Max your Dreamium production. And watch your squad become an unbreakable wall that opponents just can’t crack.

Now get out there and start crafting. Those W’s aren’t going to earn themselves.

— Happy surviving, explorers.
