Understanding the Blueprint System in ARC Raiders

Blueprints are basically permanent crafting recipes that enables players to craft and create different weapons, consumables and gadgets in their base itself. Once extracted and learnt, these blueprints remain available forever. In order to unlock them, players are first required to extract the said blueprint successfully and then use the ‘Learn and Consume’ option. Based on the category of the blueprint, it can be unlocked in the required workbench. Thus, the system of blueprints draws importance to survivability and exploration, along with combat within the game.

Based on the present ongoing update of the game, there are about 74-75 Blueprints in total spread across the various categories of Weapons, Mods and Attachments, Utility Tools, Medical Items and Explosives. Each of these categories have their respective spawn rules and workbenches to unlock the said blueprint.

Blueprint Categories and Where to Find Them

Weapon Blueprints

Weapon Blueprints are considered to be high-tier loot in ARC Raiders, as it allows players to consistently create the required firearms rather than relying on loot drop-ins. Some of the most sought-after weapon blueprints are Burletta, Osprey, Equalizer and Hullcracker. These weapon blueprints primarily spawn in places like ARC enemy drops, Raider containers and Weapon crates.

Maps with high-risk loot spots often yield valuable weapon blueprints in comparison to the rest. Hence, experienced players often target these spots, making them susceptible to sudden attacks and unfit for beginners.

Attachment and Mod Blueprints

Attachments are weapon enhancers that improve their functions in different aspects, such as recoil, magazine size or damage. Some of the common examples of these attachments are Compensators, Extended Mag Variants and Angled Grip II and III. These are more common than weapon blueprints and hence can be farmed in the early game, especially in spots like locked room loots, residential containers and raider stashes.

Medical Blueprints

Medical blueprints support crafting items that provide health replenishment, healing and support. These items, such as Vita Spray and Defibrillator are essential for your overall survivability. Medical Blueprints are most common in areas that match their loot table alignment. Hospital areas, Medical containers and Clinics and Labs are tried and tested spots.

Utility Blueprints

Utility blueprints are for items that aid in tactical and strategic operations, such as mobility, Defense etc. Some of these items are Barricade kits, Flares and Light sticks. They are often found in industrial zones, storage facilities and electrical containers.

Explosives and Grenade Blueprints

Explosives such as Gas and Pulse Mine, Blaze Grenade and Seeker Grenade are used for their strong area damage and crowd control. They are preferred by players in PvP battles and boss encounters to clear crowds and multiple targets. These blueprints are commonly found in industrial containers, military zones and high-risk loot areas.

Augment Blueprints

These are blueprints for items that provide passive bonuses and long-term advantages and can be often found in Event rewards, rare loot drops and security containers. They are considered to be late-game items due to their rarity and are often tied to specific conditions that players are required to fulfil.

Tips to Unlock all the Blueprints in ARC Raiders

It is vital to understand that just finding all blueprints is not the answer to progression. A player must also be able to successfully extract it and learn it at their base. As the game progresses, many players find it difficult to adhere to strategic farming and consider shortcuts like ARC Raiders top up. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

This is the most easiest solution and cannot replace the experienced gained from regular farming in you are a F2P player. Therefore, the given tips shall guide you to unlock all blueprints in ARC Raiders:

  • Not all loot sources are equal, and hence, every table of loot is tied to specific container types. Targeting and prioritising the right kind of container shall increase your chances of retrieving a blueprint. High-value containers, such as Raider crate offer weapons and attachments, medical containers offer healing supplies, industrial crates for grenades and tools, and security lockers for rare augments. Being selective and intentional about what you want your loot variant to be is the key to efficiency.
  • Running targeted loot runs is another way to maximise your chances of retrieving high-value blueprints. This requires players to build a proper farming route, sticking to one or two areas per raid. The areas should be picked on the basis of the blueprint they plan to retrieve, and proper knowledge of these routes and map layout is advised to minimise wastage of time.
  • Another raiding method that is preferred for the beginner level is through quick extraction strategy. This is done by running repeated fast raids in different selected spots. Players are required to enter a raid, loot the priority containers, and extract immediately the moment a high-value item is found. The entire process is then repeated in the next spot. This increases your total number of raid runs per hour and enables you to cover multiple locations.
  • Timing your raid runs to high loot conditions is another effective method of farming blueprints. This is done by farming during difficult and high-risk conditions when the loot density and value increases. Times like during a storm, night-time and high-risk map variants allow for better loot quality and often include high-value blueprints.
  • The last and least suggestive method is through fighting ARC enemies. Although containers should always be a player’s priority while farming, many ARC enemies, such as Surveyors, drop high-value blueprints. If the enemy is isolated, you are well-equipped and have a clear escape route, you can engage in fights to collect such valuable drops. However, this should not be your prime farming strategy and should only be utilised if the above mentioned conditions are met.

Conclusion

Blueprints ensure long-term survival and progression in a game like ARC Raiders. Hence, players should treat it like a primary objective in par with PvP and PvE battles. In order to collect the maximum number of available blueprints, learning where and when to farm is the key to success. With the given guide, you are well informed and equipped with knowledge to engage in smart farming means that will help you dominate every raid.
