Are you ready, astronauts? This guide will take you step by step through every nook and cranny of the moon, stuffing every last collectible into your pockets. From squeaky little toys to mysterious chips containing Earth's memories, from legendary mods that boost your combat power to heartwarming artworks that light up your Shelter, Hugh and Diana's lunar journey won't leave a single collectible behind!

First, let's meet our two heroes —Hugh Williams, the spacesuit-clad investigator, and Diana, the android girl he named (officially referred to as a "Pragmata"). Diana has the ability to hack into facility systems and mechanical units, and her scan function is the ultimate tool for the collection journey. It can mark nearby items and upgrade components, as well as reveal enemy weak spots. Don't bother with a painstaking room-by-room search early on; push the story forward first. Once Diana gains stronger scanning abilities later, come back for the sweep — it's twice the efficiency for half the effort.

Core Collection Strategy: Beat the game first. After finishing the story, every sector becomes accessible again in Unknown Signal mode. No collectible is permanently missable. Push ahead with confidence, and come back later for clean-up! This guide is based on editor research and playthroughs. Some details may include personal speculation. Not officially confirmed by developers.

Collectible Overview

There are five main sectors in the game: the Solar Power StationMass Production ArrayTerra DomeLunum Mines, and Central Port.

The good news? You don't need to collect every single item to achieve 100% sector completion on your map. You don't need every file and hologram, but you will need to track down every Safe BoxRead Earth Memory, and Upgrade Component.

Items that count toward 100% completion include:

  • All Safe Boxes
  • All Read Earth Memories (REM)
  • Storage Expanders
  • Cartridge Holders
  • Mods
  • Pure Lunum

What doesn't count? Mini Cabin Buddies. They're purely for trophy hunters and achievement collectors. But that won't stop us from hunting them all down anyway!

Special Note: You don't need every file and hologram, and you don't need to collect all the Mini Cabin Buddies to hit that 100% rating on your map. But if you're aiming for the full achievement set, you'll need to track down all 15 of those little guys!

Missed a collectible? No worries! After finishing the main story, every sector remains accessible in Unknown Signal mode. Nothing is permanently missable. Play through the story at your own pace, then come back for the clean-up sweep!

Also, Diana's scan ability will reveal all regular collectibles around you (except for Mini Cabin Buddies). Unlock this ability early and get comfortable using it, it'll double your collection efficiency and make hunting down Safe Boxes and Pure Lunum feel like you're playing with wall hacks.

Safe Boxes

What do they look like? Small metal boxes. Diana's scan will mark them on your map.

pragmata safe boxes

Where are they hiding? Scattered across all five sectors: behind cargo containers, on high platforms, in shadowy dead ends. Basically, anywhere you wouldn't bother looking if you weren't actively hunting.

What's inside? Upgrade Components! These are the core items for upgrading Hugh's gear and weapons. The more you collect, the smoother your combat experience gets.

Every time you enter a new sector, have Diana do a scan first. Those glowing crate markers on your map? Those are your Safe Boxes. Don't be lazy, pop them all open!

Read Earth Memories (REM)

What is this magical stuff? Read Earth Memory, REM for short. These mysterious chips contain recorded memories of things from Earth. There are 16 in total across the entire game.

Where are they found? Solar Power Station has 2, Mass Production Array has 4, Terra Dome has 4, Lunum Mines has 3, and Central Port has 3.

What's the point? Bring them back to the Shelter and connect them to the REM Replicator, and Diana will get to "know" things about Earth. Things she's never seen before. Each REM triggers an adorable little interactive moment. As you collect more REMs, Diana will even start drawing Hugh's adventure story as a gift for you. Collecting all 16 fills the Shelter with warmth and unlocks the trophies "For Me?" and "Replication Genius."

Some REMs can only be collected after completing certain story-related upgrades, so don't stress about getting them all on your first run — push the story first, then come back to sweep!

Storage Expanders

Why do I want these? They increase Hugh's ammo carrying capacity and item slots! Always running out of ammo in the middle of a fight? Time to find some Storage Expanders.

Where are they hiding? Usually tucked away in Red Zone rewards or hidden rooms. Red Zones require special keys to enter, but the rewards are well worth the trouble, some guides list a total of 5 Storage Expanders across the entire game.

What do they actually do? Storage Expanders increase the upper limit of Diana's hacking gauge, which she uses for Override Protocol, by a small segment.

Red Zone keys are often found through Cabin Coin Board exchanges, so make sure you're hoarding those Cabin Coins as you play!

Cartridge Holders

What are these? Items that increase how many healing items (Repair Cartridges) you can carry. Some guides list a total of 6 Cartridge Holders in the game.

Why do I need them? In high-difficulty fights, one extra Repair Cartridge can mean the difference between a successful clear and a game over. They're especially precious on higher difficulty settings.

Where are they found? Scattered in chests and terminal unlock rewards across various sectors. Their hiding spots are similar to Safe Boxes.

Grab what you can while pushing through the main story, then do a clean-up sweep after finishing the game, that's the most time-efficient approach.

Mods

This is the heart of the game! Mods are your "accessory" equipment and the core element for building Hugh's combat loadout. As you progress, you'll unlock more mod slots (up to 6 maximum), with increasingly crazy effects, increased Lunafilament drops, wider Perfect Dodge windows, boosted weak-spot damage, reduced damage while aiming, automatic hack after a Perfect Dodge, automatic reload after a successful hack, the later mods you unlock, the more ridiculously overpowered they get. There are 40 mods total in the game.

Where are they found? Scattered in chests and hidden locations across every sector. Some mods are tucked inside secret rooms behind Holo-Walls.

Keep an eye out for suspicious walls with occasional blue flickers — that's your signal that a Holo-Wall is hiding a secret room behind it. Don't walk past without checking!

Pure Lunum

The moon's "rare ore"? Pure Lunum is a special mineral mined from the lunar surface. It can be exchanged for Cabin Coins at the Shelter or used to craft high-tier items. It's also required for upgrading weapons to higher tiers.

Where is it found? Scattered across sector corners, usually on high ledges or in hidden passageways.

Diana's scan function marks Pure Lunum locations for you. Just turn on the scan and wander around — the glowing markers will lead the way!

Mini Cabin Buddies

Here come the cutest collectibles! Mini Cabin Buddies are tiny toy-like figures scattered across the moon's sectors. There are15 in total across the entire game — 3 in each sector. In the official English guides, they're sometimes called "Cabin Buddies" or "Mini Cabin Figures".

What makes them so special? They're the only collectible that Diana's scan CAN'T mark! The scan is completely useless against them, you'll have to rely entirely on your ears. Mini Cabin Buddies emit a unique squeaking sound, like a tiny animal calling for help. The closer you get, the louder and clearer the sound becomes. When you shoot them, you'll hear a cheerful "Bingo!" It's incredibly satisfying.

How sneaky are they? Extremely. Mini Cabin Buddies are tiny and can hide absolutely anywhere: inside ventilation ducts, between shelf gaps, on ceiling corners, even behind raised decorative pieces on walls. Don't just stare at the ground; check high spots and low spots too. If you're stuck on finding the third one in a sector, chances are it's tucked away in some corner you'd never think to look.

What's the reward? Collecting all 15 unlocks the "Supreme Mini Hunter" trophy, a major milestone on your full-collection journey.

Walk slowly through each sector and listen carefully. The moment you hear that toy-like squeak, stop in your tracks, spin around, and look everywhere: up, down, left, right. The more you practice, the better your "sound localization" skills will get!

Holo-Walls

What kind of black tech is this? Holo-Walls are ordinary-looking walls that occasionally flicker with blue dots. Interact with them, and you can phase right through into a hidden room: similar to the illusory walls in Dark Souls and other FromSoftware titles.

What's inside these hidden rooms? Rare collectibles! Mods, Pure Lunum, and even certain Safe Boxes can be tucked behind Holo-Walls.

Every suspicious-looking wall deserves a few seconds of observation — if you see occasional blue dots flickering on the surface, don't hesitate, walk right through it! Finding your first Holo-Wall also unlocks the trophy "Wall? What Wall?"

Full Collection Roadmap

Stop 1: Complete your first playthrough

Push through the main story at a natural pace. No need to stress about meticulous room-by-room searching. Grab any collectibles you happen to see, and don't sweat the ones you miss. Remember: every sector stays accessible after finishing the game, so you can always come back for clean-up later.

Stop 2: Unlock the scan ability

Early in Chapter 3, Diana will gain a more powerful scanning ability. This is your best friend for full collection: just hit scan, and all nearby collectibles light up on your map like Christmas decorations. With this ability, finding Safe Boxes, Pure Lunum, and most Mods feels like you're playing with wall hacks.

Stop 3: Sweep the five sectors in order

Methodically go through Solar Power Station → Mass Production Array → Terra Dome → Lunum Mines → Central Port. For each sector:

  • Have Diana scan first to mark all regular collectibles
  • Route through and collect Safe Boxes, Storage Expanders, Cartridge Holders, Mods, and Pure Lunum along the way
  • Keep an eye out for suspicious walls with blue flickering dots — that's your Holo-Wall signal
  • Perk up your ears for that distinctive Mini Cabin Buddy squeak, and follow the sound

Stop 4: Handle the Red Zones

Red Zones require specific keys to enter. Most keys are found through Cabin Coin Board exchanges. Once inside a Red Zone, clear out all enemies to earn generous rewards and unlock related trophies.

Stop 5: Check your progress

Use the tram stop inside the Shelter to check each sector's completion percentage. If a sector isn't at 100%, consult your notes and see what's missing. Mini Cabin Buddies and Holo-Walls are the most common culprits. Make sure you didn't overlook them.

Stop 6: Celebrate your victory

When all five sectors show 100% completion, all 15 Mini Cabin Buddies are in your collection, all 16 REMs are displayed in the Shelter, and Diana's drawings cover the walls… congratulations! You and Hugh and Diana have truly turned the moon inside out!

Conclusion

And that's everything you need to 100% complete PRAGMATA's collection log. The entire collection process takes about 8 to 12 additional hours (depending on how thorough your sweep is). Take it sector by sector, stage by stage. Every time you return to the Shelter and see the new drawing Diana added to the wall, or hear her excited reaction to a fresh REM — those little heartwarming moments are the most precious rewards of the collection journey. May your lunar journey with Diana leave no stone unturned and bring you home with pockets overflowing!
