PGR New Version Update: Helentine, Weapon, SFX Coating...

The next PGR update is upcoming, and "Of Solitude and Stillness" is bringing a lot of exciting changes!

New Character: Helentine

First and foremost, the biggest news is the arrival of this 'mommy-level' character—Helentine: Lacrimosa. She is a Lightning and Glaciation amplifier, which means after such a long time, the Lightning team is finally getting a new amplifier character. The best part is, she's completely FREE! You can get Helentine for free through the Journal of Promise for a limited time. And if you want another copy of her, her weapon, and her coating, you can also get them through the Service Shop.

 

Helentine Signature Weapon: Hear the Bell

Helentine's signature weapon is a folding buzzsaw. For the effect, ATK increases by 10%. The first 2 casts of Excavatory Search and Manifest Cut upon entry restore 3 Signal Orbs. Extra DMG Bonus of Metaphor Emergence, Deflection, Investment, and Regression increases by 50%. Each stack of Metaphor increases the Base DMG of Illusory Revelation by 30%.

 

Class Reflection Updates

But honestly, Helentine isn't the only exciting thing coming in this patch, because Class Reflection is also getting some changes.

• A new set of bosses will be added, including a large number of bosses like Puado, Wen Chico, Zack, and more.
• There is also a new item that you can farm from Class Reflection, which seems to be called the Resonant Amplifier.

 

New Signature Weapon System

Speaking of the new system, weapons are getting an extension to the Harmony system. It seems like this system can provide additional buffs to weapons, making characters perform even better. Basically, your favorite characters might become even stronger after this update.

 

Nanami: Star Trail Leap Upgrade

Nanami: Star Trail is finally getting her Leap upgrade, and this one looks really impactful:

• Her QTE and ultimate can upgrade her shred field into a larger version
• Her QTE can refresh the duration of the shred field
• Her hold basic attack damage is increased by 30%
• If you consume the entire energy gauge with a hold basic attack, it deals an additional 800% Lightning damage

The biggest change is how much stronger she becomes in the Ignition team—refreshing her shred field also refreshes the Ignition Emblem duration. And when an enemy enters the battlefield, the first Ignition ultimate she uses will reset the Ignition effect duration and deal an additional 1,000% Ignition damage.

Trial of Simulacrums

And finally, the last thing coming in this patch—Trial of Simulacrums is returning!

This is probably one of the most fun modes in Punishing: Gray Raven, because you can just focus on making stylish gameplay. No worrying about perfect rotations, no worrying about min-maxing every single bit of damage—just pure gameplay enjoyment.

 

Gameplay Update: Shrouded Requiem

• Requirement: Commandant Lv.40 or above

• Event Info:

• [Phantom Clash] mode is available for a limited time. Commandants can use existing archives to match and clash with other Commandants in [Phantom Clash]. Reach certain ranks to earn Collectibles and other rewards.

• [Nightshroud Tales] adds a new story for Kamui. Enter the event interface and tap [Nightshroud Tales] to check it out.

• [Labyrinth Breakout] adds Difficulty 5, unlocked after reaching a certain rank in [Phantom Clash].

• Permanent and Limited-Time Shop rewards have been updated. Exchange permanent tokens for Stamp and other rewards, and limited-time tokens for Event Construct R&D Tickets and more in the Limited-Time Shop.

• Event Info:

• The event is divided into 5 chapters. Clear prerequisite chapters to unlock Selena and Helentine's summer swimsuit stories. The summer stories for Bianca and Teddy will unlock over time.

• Complete event missions to earn rewards. Participating in the event grants Event Construct R&D Tickets and Trade Vouchers.

Selena -- Shimmering Tide

From July 17 at 00:00 until August 18 at 23:00 (UTC), purchase the [Shimmering Tide Coating Bundle] to obtain Selena: Pianissimo's SFX Coating [Shimmering Tide].

Purchase [Weapon Coating - Summer Strings] to obtain the matching weapon coating.

 

Helentine -- Azure Embrace

From July 17 at 00:00 until August 18 at 23:00 (UTC), purchase the [Azure Embrace Coating Bundle] to obtain Helentine: Lacrimosa's SFX Coating [Azure Embrace].
