These costumes are based on the Halloween plushies sold at the Pokémon Center. Zubat is the easiest to collect because it spawns in the wild. It only appears in the Part I spawn list, though, so you have just five days for it. Pikachu and Sinistea stay in raids for all nine days. You can check our raid schedule to see which higher-tier bosses run alongside them.

That makes five brand new Shiny forms across the event. Shiny Houndstone is easy to overlook. Evolving a Shiny Greavard is the only way to get it.
Also note that the costumed Piplup cannot evolve. Do not spend Candy expecting a costumed Empoleon. If you enjoy collecting themed Pikachu, our Pokemon Horizons celebration event guide covers another event worth a look.

Mega Sableye Super Max Level and Night Shade+
From Part II onward, Mega Sableye can reach Super Max Level for the first time. At this level, it learns an extra Charged Attack, Night Shade+, while Mega Evolved.

Requirements to unlock Super Max:
- Your Sableye must reach Max Mega Level first.
- Mega Evolving alone will not raise it further.
- You must spend Sableye Mega Energy to power it up.
Night Shade+ also gets stronger as the Mega Level rises. If you plan to chase this, start stockpiling Sableye Mega Energy before November 1. To see how Mega Sableye compares with other top picks, check our tier list for 2026.

If you also plan to grab extra Raid Passes, Star Pieces, or the new Gothic outfits, a Pokemon GO top up keeps your PokéCoin balance ready before the event starts. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.
Halloween Shop Items, Stickers, Music and Decor
- New avatar items: Gothic Skirt Set, Gothic Shorts Set, Gothic Socks, and Gothic Boots. These stay in the shop after the event.
- Stickers: Earn them from PokéStops and Gifts, or buy them in the shop.
- Lavender Town music: A remix plays nightly during the event.
- Halloween decor: PokéStops, Gyms, and encounter screens get themed decorations in both parts.
Seasonal touches like these are a big part of why holiday events feel special. If you liked the celebration rewards earlier this year, our 10th anniversary event guide is worth revisiting.

Quick Tips for the Halloween Event
- Push to Rank 20 early. Then pair the Stardust bonus with a Star Piece during your longest play session.
- Tap every Trick or Treat surprise. It is one of the few free sources of Rare Candy.
- Use your daily free Raid Pass on costume raids for all nine days.
- Prioritize Zubat during Part I, since it leaves the wild pool after November 1.
- Claim all GO Pass rewards before November 7 at 8:00 p.m.
Conclusion
The Pokemon GO Halloween event 2026 packs five new Shiny forms, three fresh costumes, and a real power boost for Mega Sableye into nine days. Part I is the bigger half, with the costume debuts and Trick or Treat rewards. Part II is short but brings the long-awaited Shiny Greavard. Keep this list handy, plan your raids and Star Pieces around the dates above, and you will finish the season with a complete spooky collection.
