Frosty Funland Themed Mode

Frosty Funland, aka Penguin City, flips a chunk of Erangel into a cheeky winter carnival where melting glaciers have chased the Penguin Kingdom's crew straight into the fray. A wide avenue funnels you to a massive stage ringed by goofy penguin statues and glittering ice sculptures, all loaded with loot crates begging to be cracked.

The most eye-catching feature is the Penguin Snowball Launcher, stationed in the central avenue. Firing it catapults players across the map, allowing them to parachute back down with style. It’s a high-risk, high-fun mechanic — perfect for fast rotations or trolling your squadmates mid-match.

Penguin Chests: treasure with a theatrical twist

Among the frosty decor, the Penguin Chests are the true stars of the show. There are two main ones inside the city’s core building — one placed prominently on the main stage and another in front of a bookshelf.

As a special weapon in the mode, this firearm can charge its shot to trigger an ice blast, maximizing burst damage!

• Penguin Snowmobile

Teammates can assist in boosting speed and even fire snowballs to attack enemies.

 

New Themed Mode NPCs

In addition to the new themed items mentioned above, this new mode also features seven brand-new unique NPCs awaiting your discovery. Completing each NPC's quest will reward you with powerful items and other special bonuses in the game.

• Gunsmith Polar Bear - Rare

After the match has progressed for a while, you can interact with Gunsmith Polar Bear to accept a repair mission. Flip all circuit breaker switches outside the building to complete the mission and earn a valuable Salted Fish Rocket Launcher.

*Note: Once you accept the mission, all players on the map can see your progress. Other players may compete with you, so be prepared.

• Ninja Penguin - Special

This is a unique NPC that provides strategic guidance and possesses both offensive and healing abilities. It is an indispensable ally on the battlefield.

• Zoomer Penguin - Common

Interact with them to receive quests. Submit the required basic supplies to exchange for items. At the same time, you can interact with them to enter the store and purchase supplies.

*Note: Each time you summon a penguin, the summoner will receive three free items.

• Magician Fox

When a floating wand appears at the location indicated on the map, interacting with it will cast the spell to summon a magical portal.

Once the portal fully opens, a magical fox will emerge from it. After the performance, it will wait by the entrance. Interact with it to receive Magic Ice Skates and a host of other rewards.

• Cupid Penguin - Common

Cupid Penguin will appear at the fun photo spot. Take a picture with your friends under Cupid Penguin's watchful gaze. If you're alone, Cupid Penguin will pose with you!

• Apothecary Penguin - Common

After interacting with the Apothecary Penguin, it will craft a potion using three randomly selected mushrooms. The potion boosts reload speed and weapon switch speed.

• Hairstylist Fox - Common

Interact with Hairstylist Fox to switch to one of the many cool hairstyles it offers. You'll also receive some supplies.

 

New Mechanic - Carry Loot Crates

A new mechanic also lets players carry enemy loot crates after a knockdown. While carrying, you move slower and can’t sprint, but the tactical options this opens are wild — you can drag valuable crates indoors to loot safely or use them as bait to draw enemies in. It’s a minor-sounding tweak that could redefine close-quarter engagements.

 

Water Town Rework: from sleepy village to bustling port
