Anime collaborations with PUBG have always been known to rile up the players in a good way. Until now, PUBG has collaborated with several anime like Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. The collaboration with Dragon Ball Super has happened twice, yet fans await another collab entirely. Despite all the popular anime getting into a collab, there is another anime that has been the most requested for years, and this is the NARUTO x PUBG.

Rumors have been going on for years, but this time, things are finally feeling real because every leak looks a little too detailed to be just cosmetic drops or false, misleading information. The leaks scream the coming of the next big licensed event for PUBG Mobile.
Some leaked trailers have been going around, showcasing a set of character models, animations, and emotes that add to the chances of this collab being real.

Let’s follow LDShop, as we will be briefing you on every leak that has spread across the internet, so tighten your belts, Naruto fans.

Heroes from the Leaks

The full collaboration has a set of 5 characters, which are way too polished to be just fake. The trailer shows that these skins are not merely playing around, as they have smooth animations along with decent VFX.

PUBG Mobile × Naruto

Naruto Uzumaki

As the main protagonist of the anime, Naruto is the first character to be highlighted in the collaboration event. In the trailer, they have given him his classic outfit, which surely matches the vibe, and he is shown performing a mini Rasengan emote in the leak. There has been intricate detailing on his part, as even his mini Rasengan was showcased with a blue glow, and it looks like the most attention has been paid to him.

Sasuke Uchiha

Next up, we have Sasuke Uchiha, the crush of many fans, who has shared more romance with Naruto than he has with his wife. In the game leaks, his drip remains iconic with his classic Shippuden outfit. A chidori spark animation is shown in the emote, and his in-game model looks like a replica of the anime, just in 3d style. Players can look forward to playing this character because even though his leaks are very brief, they do point to how cool he is going to be.

Kakashi Hatake

Everyone’s favorite sensei, Kakashi, has also been shown in the leaks and is heavily rumored to be added in the collab as well. I mean, who doesn’t want a hot Ninja who reads romance novels to be added to their favorite game? In the game, everything has been paid special attention to, from his headband to his mask and even his vest. In the emote, a quick “one-eye reveal” has been shown, which has stirred up the community quite well. Even his hair has been done very well.

Sakura Haruno

Even though she isn’t that well-liked in the anime, there is no denying Sakura’s abilities and her need to be in the game. Without her, the collab may feel incomplete. Some players might debate adding Hinata instead of her, but that’s not so likely because Sakura was part of the original trio, early on in the anime, and is one of the most prominent characters. In the game, she has her pink hair along with her red outfit. Nothing too flashy has been showcased in the trailer, but her animations are more focused on combat, and her emote shows her standing in an “about to punch” stance.

The Mystery Character

Well, another character wearing an outfit similar to a cat has also been shown in the trailer. This mystery character is wearing a black and white cat-themed ninja outfit with white gloves. No one really knows what reference or character it is, but it is clearly a part of the collab. It is still unknown if this will be a Naruto side character or just another special event character, but things have surely taken a turn for a more creative side.

Villains from the Leaks

Without villains, the game is just the simple story of the heroes’ lives, and that makes the story a lot less interesting. Even in the game, what good are heroes without villains to fight against? So, up until now, 4 villains have been speculated to make an entrance in the collab, 2 confirmed based on their visuals, and the other two are solely based on speculations.
Unlocking such characters would require you to have vouchers, and although these vouchers can be obtained by completing event-specific missions, it is just always better to get them by using the PUBG Mobile top up because not everyone would risk their chance to get the goated characters just because they couldn’t complete the mission on time. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

PUBG Mobile × Naruto

Itachi Uchiha

The most wanted villain in the whole series of Naruto, Itachi, has been very popular since his first appearance in the anime, and he is 100% confirmed to be in the game as well. His model is amazingly accurate, with all the cloak and his Sharingan orbs glowing slightly. His emote shows him standing idle in that intimidating stance that the fans adore.

Obito Uchiha

He is another villain that has been 100% confirmed to be added to the game due to his crisp visuals. He appears in a masked outfit, and his cloak is a replica of his anime look. The model quality of Obito was what made fans believe that he was a confirmed character because no fan-made animation could live up to the visuals of this one.

Pain

He is a very likely candidate because who else if not him – the villain with the backstory every anime fan almost cries at. Several leakers have posted him as a possible pick, but up until now, no confirmations can be made, as he wasn’t shown in the trailer either. But Pain would be an absolute fit if they really want to escalate the gameplay to large-scale effects and themed animations.

Other Speculations

Several other speculations have been made, which include Madara Uchiha, which is heavily anticipated to be added in the event, and other characters like Kaguya Otsutsuki, Orochi, and Gaara. No confirmations have been made except for the first two characters, so players can hope that their favorite villain is added to the game.

Weapons & Rewards in the Leak

The trailer didn’t showcase any themed guns or mythic animations, but there is no doubt that at least one premium mythic weapon, a couple of epic skins, and some cosmetics will be added in the event because that is the bare minimum for every collaboration event.

With how good everything in the trailer was, players can expect to see a Rasengan-inspired gun or some Sharingan effects.

The following items have been confirmed to be available at the event:

  • Chakra Scroll Glider
  • Shage Mode Enhanced Buggy
  • Mystical Scroll Backpack
  • Sage Mode Enhanced M416

When will the Event be released?

Sadly. The exact date is still unknown, as there were none attached to the leak, but since the collaborations are usually announced 2-3 weeks earlier, you can expect the event to be released in the upcoming updates. As of now, update 4.2 is rumored to showcase this event, though it is not confirmed.

Conclusion

The Naruto fans are heavily anticipating this update because the quality makes it hard to doubt them. And if they do really hold up, then this might become the biggest anime crossover event that the game has ever had. There is enough to keep even the non-anime fans immersed, and the anime fans? Well, they are going to be absolutely hooked.
