🏛️ Alliance Politics > Power Score

Forget farming barbarians all day. Stop treating RoK like a solo city-builder. It’s pure social warfare with a war skin. Your individual power means nothing to a massive whale, but your social game can make you untouchable.

Get into a Top 3 Alliance ASAP

• Whale Chests: Top alliances are packed with spenders. Every time they buy a bundle, you get a chest filled with free VIP points and speedups. This is how F2P players actually compete.
• Safety Net: Sleeping without a peace shield is suicide unless your city is sitting comfortably on top-tier alliance territory.

The Art of the Application

Don't just hit "apply." Change your username to something clean and English, then slide into the inbox of an alliance recruiter or leader.

Copy-paste this: "Hey officer, I’m highly active, will max donate to tech daily, and promise to follow all war teleports and rally commands. Looking forward to fighting with you guys!"

Be a Good Soldier

When the alliance leadership drops a mail telling you to teleport to a war zone, you do it instantly. When a rally is called, you fill it. A low-power player who actually listens to commands is worth ten times more than a medium-spender who plays solo.

 

🐹 Go Full Hamster Mode on Resources

The biggest trap for beginners is spending every speedup and gem the second they get them. Real veterans keep a backpack that would make you blink twice.

Lock Up Your Action Point (AP) Potions

• The Trap: Burning AP potions daily just to farm random barbarians.
• The Pro Move: Save every single green potion bottle. Hold them until the KvK1 Pre-GW (Pre-Guild War) event drops, specifically for killing Marauders. Dumping all your hoarded AP there gives you insane rewards and speedups that will jumpstart your account.

Never Spend Gems in the Tavern

• Golden Keys: Use the free keys the game gives you, but never, ever spend your hard-earned gems on tavern chests.
• The VIP Route: Save your gems for the "More Than Gems" event. Dump every single gem into upgrading your VIP Level until you hit VIP 10 (gives 1 free Legendary Commander Sculpture per day), then push for VIP 12 or 14.
• Wheel of Fortune: Keep a floating gem reserve to spin the wheel for your core legendary commanders.

 

🛡️ Go Extreme: Pick One Troop Type

New players love to jack of all trades, mastering none. They level up infantry, cavalry, and archers equally. On the battlefield, these mixed armies just get melted.

The One-Troop Rule

• F2P & Low Spenders: Lock in Infantry. The gear is easy to craft, they have high survivability, and they don't die instantly in open-field brawls.
• Whales & Speed Demons: Go Cavalry if you want to zoom around and delete people.

Troops Are Just War Currency

• The True Metrics: Power is just a vanity number. In the top leagues, your Kill Points (KP) and Dead Troops are your actual resume.
• Don't Be a Parasite: Nobody wants a 50-million power player who has zero dead troops in KvK. Top alliances will literally zero you themselves for being dead weight.

Manage Your Hospital Closely

When fighting on the open field, your troops get severely wounded and head to the hospital. Always track your hospital capacity using the rules below to avoid permanent troop loss.
