Is Epic Equipment Worth in RoK?

Rushing straight into legendary crafts without a full epic base is a rookie mistake. Unless you’re dropping thousands of dollars on materials, talented purple gear is your main bread and butter.

• The Epic Stat Floor: Epic gear is incredibly cheap to craft, refine, and Special Talent (crit). A fully Special-Talented Epic set will regularly outperform a half-baked, non-talented Legendary piece that lacks set bonuses.

Since material upgrading follows a 4:1 ratio (4 Commons = 1 Uncommon, 4 Uncommons = 1 Rare, etc.), crafting a single Legendary piece requires thousands of raw Common materials. Always plan your material chests carefully!
