Full Armor Hyaku-Shiki Kai

Unit Strength In-Depth Analysis

Stats and Passive MechanicsFull Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai stats and passive mechanics

Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai's base attack is not outstanding; in fact, it is rather mediocre. What truly sets it apart is its passive, which requires "dealing damage at the end of battle" to stack attack. Each trigger increases attack by 4%, up to a maximum of 20%.

This means its attack is not handed to you at the start; instead, it builds up gradually after you "output damage." The map weapon stacks one layer per enemy hit, so if you can hit five targets at once, the warm-up speed is much faster than you might think. The trade-off is also obvious: first-turn damage is clearly lower compared to Strike Freedom.Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai attack stacking performance

Once fully stacked, its attack can rise from a base of 14,020 to around 16,357. That number is quite competitive among 5-range EX units.

Weapons and Combat PerformanceFull Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai EX weapon detailsFull Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai map weapon details

EX Weapon: 2–5 range, base Power 6,360, with a "more damage at greater distance" trait. With full bonus it reaches 7,632. This figure is decent for a 5-range EX, but compared to Phenex or Strike Freedom, the base Power is about 300 lower. Combined with the pre-warm-up attack gap, first-turn damage is indeed not advantageous.

Map Weapon: A 3×6 long rectangular area with Power around 4,300, which is very practical for clearing enemies and stacking the passive. However, note that after firing the map weapon, the unit cannot act again, so it must wait until the enemy turn or the second turn to truly realize its post-warm-up value.

A more interesting aspect is its survivability. The passive grants 40% damage reduction against physical and beam weapons. Combined with the original pilot Quattro's active damage reduction, it can stack up to 80% damage reduction in extreme cases. This makes it surprisingly reliable during the warm-up period, somewhat compensating for its lack of a shield.

Low mobility is a hard drawback. This makes it unsuitable for aggressive initiations; it is better suited to hanging back, waiting for the enemy to move first, and then moving out to clean up.

Escape MechanismFull Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai escape mechanism

When destroyed, it triggers an escape and becomes Hyaku Shiki Kai to continue fighting. The ejected Hyaku Shiki Kai inherits the stack count, so its attack can be maintained around 11,000, and it still retains a 5-range weapon. Although Power and attack are significantly reduced, its support attack function is not completely lost.

However, the ejected unit is very fragile. 80,000 HP and just over 7,000 defense means it will basically be destroyed in one hit. So treat it as a means to "break the enemy's chain action" or "finish off low-HP targets," and do not expect it to carry the fight.

Tags and Positioning

Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai's tags are arguably its biggest selling point: Ace Unit, Tenacious, Tough as Nails.Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai unit tags

Among Ace Unit lineups, the only 5-range EX option previously was Strike Freedom carrying the role alone. Hyaku Shiki Kai's addition gives Ace Unit teams a second 5-range option, greatly increasing team-building flexibility.

Tenacious is the missing puzzle piece filled directly: the only previous 5-range EX in Tenacious was Zeong, and it could only fight in space. Hyaku Shiki Kai allows Tenacious teams to finally have 5-range support attacks in ground stages as well.

Tough as Nails is a strong tag that has been continuously strengthened recently, and Hyaku Shiki Kai's addition makes this tag's 5-range lineup even more complete.

Pilot In-Depth Analysis: Quattro Bajeena

Base Stats and SkillsQuattro Bajeena base stats and skills

Shooting 843, Awakening 735, Reaction 682. For a shooting-type pilot, 843 shooting is only "decent," but because there are no white-value boosting skills, the cap is 843 and cannot break the 1,000 mark.Quattro Bajeena pilot stats

The active skill provides range +1, damage reduction 25%, and burst 25%. The damage reduction is especially important during warm-up, allowing it to safely get through the early phase. Range +1 occasionally lets you output from six range away, a useful small bonus.

Ability

When piloting Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai, grants a 5% attack to all AEUG-tagged units in the party, including itself. This has value in specific lineups, but the AEUG tag's unit pool is small; few UR units benefit: Zeta Gundam, Full Armor ZZ are about the only ones. So the practical benefit is limited and not a nuclear-level buff.AEUG tag units for Quattro Bajeena abilityAEUG team options for Quattro BajeenaQuattro Bajeena AEUG ability synergy

The bigger highlight is triple action. Quattro is a triple-action pilot, which is crucial when paired with Hyaku Shiki Kai's low mobility. You can let it sink back and observe the situation, then move out to clean up after the enemy's main force has acted. Combined with the warm-up time needed, triple action fits this unit's operational logic perfectly.

Tactical Value and Limitations

Quattro's problem is that his skill set is not pure enough. The damage reduction skill is not cost-effective when base stats are unremarkable; burst 25% is good, but the lack of additional shooting stat boosts limits his damage ceiling.

As for swap flexibility, his value piloting other units is average. Without the Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai pairing, the aura and damage reduction cannot fully function; at best he is "a normal shooting pilot with triple action."

Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai Pull Recommendations

Meta-focused players: Depends on what team you play. If you play Tenacious and lack a ground 5-range attacker, pull; this unit is made for you. If you play Ace Unit and already have Strike Freedom at one limit break or higher, you can skip; the improvement is limited. If you play Tough as Nails and your Wing Gundam is already built, priority decreases, but you can pull if you have spare resources.

F2P / light spenders: The 1.5-year anniversary is right around the corner, so be cautious. If you are not a Tenacious team player, you can skip this. Strike Freedom can fill similar roles; missing this will not affect your core combat strength.

Fans / whales: Char's machine, the golden shining Hyaku Shiki, and it is both Ace Unit and a Tenacious puzzle piece, pull. At max stars, the fully stacked passive damage may not be earth-shattering, but that "stronger as the fight goes on" feeling is quite charming. Plus, having two golden 5-range units on the field at the same time is visually stunning.

D Gundam Third

Unit Strength In-Depth Analysis

Stats and PassiveD Gundam Third stats and passive

D Gundam Third's core selling point is its passive: 20% attack boost at full HP, and 10% when above half HP but not full. It is granted at the start and requires no warm-up, which is much friendlier than Hyaku Shiki Kai. For a support unit, this attack boost makes its panel quite impressive.

D Gundam Third unit performance

But "no special ability" is the most realistic assessment of this unit. D Gundam Third is purely a stat machine: high attack and decent weapon power, but beyond that there is not much interesting.

Weapons and Output Performance

The main EX weapon is a 5-range defense-down attack with a 35% defense reduction effect. The normal weapon is a 5-range physical damage boost with a 25% physical damage bonus. Dual 5-range weapons are a fairly luxurious configuration for a support unit, and combined with the passive attack boost, its support attack output is quite stable. The map weapon is a dash-type that can be used after moving. This is relatively rare among support units, but in practice, rushing a support unit into enemy lines to fire the map weapon can actually be safer in AUTO mode than high-mobility support units.

Tags and Positioning

Tags: Lightning-Fast, Specialized Unit, Tough as Nails. Tough as Nails has been continuously strengthened recently, and D Gundam Third's addition gives this tag a good option in the support slot. Lightning Fast currently lacks a boost ship but still has future potential.D Gundam Third unit tags

Positioning-wise, it is an "attack-specialized support unit." D Gundam Third pushes damage to the limit within the support unit framework, but the ceiling is still that of a support unit.

Pilot In-Depth Analysis: Darry Niel Guns

Base Stats and Skills

Darry Niel Guns base statsDarry Niel Guns active skillsMelee 828, Shooting 714. For a support pilot, 828 melee is already quite excellent, a rare high-melee support pilot. Active skills include movement +1, attack burst, and sway dodge, balancing offense and survival. This is already a fairly luxurious kit for a support pilot.

EX Ability and Swap Value

The EX-ability requires both "Gundam" and "Char's Counterattack" tags to gain the full 15% damage boost and 15% damage reduction. Around 14 units can benefit from this, including Nu Gundam and Hi-Nu Gundam, so his off-unit value is unexpectedly good. Even if not piloting D Gundam Third, he can pilot other "Char's Counterattack" Gundam units.Darry Niel Guns EX ability compatible unitsDarry Niel Guns Gundam tag synergy

The support attack +20% passive provides a stable offensive boost in the support attack slot. Overall, Darry is a "plain but reliable" support pilot, no flashy mechanics, but he has everything you need.

Tactical Value and Limitations

Darry's problem is the same as D Gundam Third: lack of surprise. 828 melee is pretty on paper, but at this point in the game, many players' support pilot pools already have 700–800 level talent, so the actual improvement from 828 is not at the "must-have" level. If you are a player in the SSR Master League, his value will be relatively higher.

D Gundam Third Pull Recommendations

Meta-focused players: The unit itself is not weak: dual 5-range support weapons, full-HP attack boost, defense reduction and damage boost combined. It is a very competent support unit. But it is a standard pool unit, so you may get it from off-banner pulls in the future. If you are pulling for Hyaku Shiki Kai and get this off-banner, feel free to build it; it can serve in the support attack slot in Tough as Nails teams.

F2P / light spenders: Not recommended to pull specifically for a non-limited unit. Save resources for the 1.5-year anniversary limited banner. D Gundam Third's role is more "reinforcement" than "game-changer"; missing it will not affect your current lineup's completeness.

Fans / whales: If you like this unit, its strength will not disappoint you, but remember it is ultimately a support unit; do not expect it to put out attacker-level numbers.

Summary

With the 1.5-year anniversary approaching, this banner is more of a temptation: Hyaku Shiki Kai is a must-have puzzle piece for tenacious players, while D Gundam Third is a lucky off-banner pull on the way to Hyaku Shiki Kai. If your lineup has no obvious gaps, saving diamonds for the next limited banner is the more rational choice. But if you are playing Tenacious or have a soft spot for the golden shining Hyaku Shiki, this banner will not disappoint.
