Silver Palace gives its summoning system a detective-themed identity. A pull is called a Revelation, character summons use ammunition-like tickets, and weapons are known as Motives. Behind that presentation, however, is a system with separate character and Motive banners, fixed rarity rates, featured guarantees, duplicate rewards, and several rules that still need clarification.
This guide combines the Revelation descriptions displayed during the Dichotomy Beta, hands-on CBT2 footage, specialist guides, and community analysis.
Silver Palace Gacha Rules at a Glance

The Dichotomy Beta featured four Revelation pools:
- Limited-time character banner
- Limited-time Motive banner
- Standard character banner
- Standard Motive banner
Each banner category uses its own ticket type. The limited character banner uses Judgement Shots, while the limited Motive banner uses Deduction Shots. The two standard pools also have separate tickets, meaning that players cannot freely move every summon ticket between all four banners.
The premium currency used to purchase summon tickets is called Reactor Crystal. During CBT2, one Revelation cost 360 Reactor Crystals, while ten Revelations cost 3,600 Reactor Crystals.

The game lists the overall five-star probability as 1.8% when guarantees are included. This is an averaged rate that accounts for the pity system; it does not mean that every individual pull has a 1.8% five-star chance. The ordinary per-pull rate remains 0.8%.
Revelation Currencies and Pull Costs
What Is a Revelation?

“Revelation” is the official beta term for a summon or pull. Character and Motive Revelations are tracked separately, so pulling on a character banner does not advance the guarantee on a Motive banner.
The same separation applies to tickets. A Judgement Shot intended for the relevant character Revelation cannot simply be used as a Deduction Shot on the featured Motive banner.
How Much Does One Pull Cost?
One ticket could be purchased for 360 Reactor Crystals during CBT2. Based on that conversion:
- One pull costs 360 Reactor Crystals.
- Ten pulls cost 3,600 Reactor Crystals.
- One hundred pulls cost 36,000 Reactor Crystals.
- Eighty pulls cost 28,800 Reactor Crystals.
The size of these numbers should not be judged in isolation. A game can double both its pull price and its free currency rewards without changing the real value of a pull. The meaningful questions are how many Reactor Crystals players can earn per patch, how frequently new characters arrive, and how much paid currency costs at launch.
Those parts of the economy were not established by the beta.
Limited Character Banner Rules
Five-Star Rates and the 100-Pull Guarantee

A five-star character has a 0.8% base probability on the limited-time character banner. The overall rate, after guarantees are included, is listed as 1.8%.
The key protection is straightforward:
Up to 100 Revelations guarantee at least one current featured five-star character.
In the Dichotomy Beta, the featured character was Ashley, whose transformed identity is Cinderella. The standard five-star characters shown alongside her were Cynthia II, Rex, and Gratia.
If a five-star appears before the 100th Revelation, it may be the featured character or a standard character. Obtaining a standard five-star early does not appear to cancel the featured guarantee. The counter resets when the featured five-star character is obtained.
This creates a better-defined worst case than a conventional system in which players must first lose a 50/50 and then climb through a second full pity cycle.
Four-Star Character Guarantees

The limited character banner lists the following four-star rules:
- Base four-star probability: 6%
- Overall probability including guarantees: 13%
- At least one four-star or higher within 10 Revelations
- A four-star result has a 50% chance to be one of the featured four-stars
- At least one featured four-star within 20 Revelations
During the test, the featured four-star characters were Argos, Captain Kaboom, and Gucia. If a four-star result landed in the featured group, the listed featured characters shared that portion of the rate equally.
The 20-pull featured guarantee prevents an extended streak of non-featured four-stars, although it does not let the player select a specific featured unit.
Limited Motive Banner Rules
What Are Motives?
Motives are Silver Palace’s equipment equivalent. Although they fill the role commonly occupied by weapons, some Motives appear usable by multiple characters within a compatible class rather than being completely locked to one owner.
For example, Cinderella’s test Motive provided powerful offensive bonuses while remaining usable by other members of the appropriate class. This could make a strong limited Motive more flexible than a narrowly restricted signature weapon, although future equipment designs may differ.
The 80-Pull Featured-Motive Guarantee
The limited-time Motive banner uses Deduction Shots and keeps the same 0.8% base five-star rate and 1.8% overall rate.
Its ceiling is lower than the limited character banner:
Up to 80 Revelations guarantee the current featured five-star Motive.
When a five-star Motive appears before that ceiling, the beta rules explicitly give it a 50% chance of being the featured Motive.
An off-rate five-star does not create a conventional “the next five-star must be featured” guarantee. It is therefore possible to lose more than one early 50/50. However, the featured-Motive counter remains the important protection: the shared guarantee is described as resetting once the featured five-star Motive is obtained.
This distinction matters. The Motive system is not simply an endless 50/50 with no upper limit; CBT2’s detail screen separately states that the featured Motive is guaranteed within 80 Revelations.
Four-Star Motive Rules

The four-star structure mirrors the character banner:
- 6% base four-star rate
- 13% overall rate including guarantees
- One four-star or higher within 10 Revelations
- 50% featured chance when a four-star Motive appears
- One featured four-star Motive within 20 Revelations
Because character banners mainly distribute characters and low-rarity Motives, players may need to reserve Reactor Crystals or Deduction Shots if important four-star and five-star Motives are only available from dedicated equipment pools.
How the Standard Banners Work

The standard character and standard Motive pools are permanent and have their own summon tickets.
Both standard banners used a 0.8% base five-star rate and an 80-Revelation five-star guarantee during CBT2.
The standard character banner did not show a wishlist or selector. Players therefore could not choose which standard five-star they would receive. In the observed test pool, the available standard five-star characters included Cynthia II, Rex, and Gratia.
The standard Motive banner followed the same general 80-pull structure for five-star equipment.
Because the pools use dedicated standard tickets, spending Reactor Crystals on them is unlikely to be efficient unless the launch version adds a selector, beginner guarantee, or another special incentive.
Duplicate Rewards and the Exchange Shop
Duplicate pulls generate additional currencies rather than becoming completely empty results.
Mind Shards
The beta detail screen listed the following five-star character rewards:
- The first copy grants 20 Mind Shards.
- The next six duplicates convert into that character’s upgrade material or Trait and also grant 20 Mind Shards each.
- From the seventh duplicate onward, each additional copy grants 50 Mind Shards.
Four-star characters follow the same general structure at lower values. Five-star and four-star Motives also grant Mind Shards, while three-star Motives provide Mind Grains.
In the test exchange shop, 12 Mind Shards could be exchanged for one summon ticket of the player’s chosen category. This provides a small rebate over time, particularly for players who obtain numerous duplicate characters or Motives.
Duplicate characters are still important for character progression, so this rebate should not be mistaken for a full refund.
Is There a Soft-Pity System?
The CBT2 rules did not publish a soft-pity threshold.
A soft pity would increase the five-star probability after a certain number of unsuccessful pulls, before the hard ceiling is reached. Some gacha games implement such a system without explaining the exact curve in their banner details.
For Silver Palace, isolated beta results cannot establish whether a hidden probability increase exists. A reliable answer would require either official confirmation or a large set of summon records. Until then, calculations should use the stated 0.8% base rate and the published hard guarantees.
How Generous Is the Silver Palace Gacha System?
On paper, the system has a relatively controlled worst case:
- Featured character within 100 pulls
- Featured Motive within 80 pulls
- Four-star result within 10 pulls
- Featured four-star within 20 pulls
- Early standard five-stars do not appear to remove the featured ceiling
The trade-off is that early results may feel less secure. A player can obtain multiple off-rate five-stars before reaching the featured guarantee, and the character banner does not currently publish a clear early featured rate. The Motive banner openly uses a 50% featured rate for early five-stars without guaranteeing that the next early five-star will win.
Ultimately, pull income matters more than the number 360. A 100-pull ceiling is only generous if regular players receive enough Judgement Shots or Reactor Crystals to approach it without excessive spending.
Other unanswered economic questions include:
- How many free pulls will be available per patch?
- Will each patch introduce one limited character or several?
- How often will Motive tickets be distributed?
- Will older limited characters enter the standard pool?
- Will the standard roster receive regular updates?
- How much will Reactor Crystals cost at launch?
Confirmed Rules vs. Unconfirmed Claims
Confirmed in the Dichotomy Beta
The following rules were displayed in CBT2:
- A pull is called a Revelation.
- The base five-star rate is 0.8%.
- The overall five-star rate is 1.8% when guarantees are included.
- The four-star base rate is 6%, with a 13% overall rate.
- One four-star or higher is guaranteed within 10 Revelations.
- One featured four-star is guaranteed within 20 Revelations.
- The featured limited character is guaranteed within 100 Revelations.
- The featured limited Motive is guaranteed within 80 Revelations.
- An early five-star Motive has a 50% featured rate.
- One Revelation costs 360 Reactor Crystals in the beta.
Not Yet Confirmed
The following claims should still be treated cautiously:
- The exact featured-character probability when a five-star arrives early
- A fixed 25/75 or 50/50 rule for early five-star characters
- Banner-to-banner pity carry-over
- The existence and starting point of soft pity
- Launch prices and free-to-play currency income
- The long-term composition of the standard pool
- Whether every beta currency and exchange limit will remain unchanged
Conclusion
The Dichotomy Beta version of Silver Palace offers clear maximum costs for its most important rewards. A featured character is protected by a 100-Revelation ceiling, a featured Motive by an 80-Revelation ceiling, and four-star rewards arrive on short, predictable cycles.
