NBA 2K27 System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

NBA 2K27 launches on September 4, 2026, and if you are planning to play on PC, now is a good time to check whether your setup is ready for tip-off.

An SSD is required even at minimum, and your CPU must support AVX2. Your graphics card also needs DirectX feature level 12.0 support. 2K recommends a dual-analog gamepad as well.

2K has not attached an official resolution, graphics preset, or frame-rate target to either tier, so don't read “recommended” as an automatic promise of 1440p or 60 FPS.

NBA 2K27 is surprisingly close to NBA 2K26 on PC.

The recommended specs are essentially unchanged: both games list an i5-10600 / Ryzen 5 3600X, 16 GB RAM, and RTX 2070 / RX 5700 / Arc A770. Storage also remains at 110 GB.

NBA 2K27 requires 110 GB of available storage on PC, and an SSD is mandatory.

Interestingly, that's considerably smaller than NBA 2K25's official 150 GB requirement. NBA 2K26 dropped that figure to 110 GB, and 2K27 keeps it there.
