Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Khala Complete Build Guide

Today we’re breaking down Khala. She has three roles: Dual Swords Wind DPS, Nunchaku Wind Burst enabler, and Gauntlets Earth Burst support for Ban. Her Adventure Skill, Deft Fingers, lets her claim Reward Cubes three times at once with extra keys, which is convenient but not a must-pull reason. This guide covers each weapon path, including mechanics, rotations, weapons, potentials, and teams.

 

1. Dual Swords Khala

Dual Swords Khala is a Wind normal-attack DPS. Her damage comes from empowered normal attacks, skill resets, and a strict but satisfying rotation.

Core Mechanics & Rotation

Her passive, Copycat, converts part of her Crit Resistance into Crit Chance and part of her Crit Defense into Crit Damage. When she has all three Shaper buffs — Dual Swords, Axe, and Longsword, her skill cooldowns reset, enabling her main damage loop.

Each time she gains Shaper - Dual Swords, she also gains stacking Normal Attack damage and Pierce for a short time. This is why her normal attacks matter even though much of her damage comes from empowered skill-normal-attack hybrids.

Basic Rotation

1. Build Shaper - Dual Swords
   Use a full 10-hit normal attack string, or open with Special Attack / Normal Skill before Ultimate.
2. Use Ultimate : Mirror Arsenal
   This creates a zone and gives Mirror - Shaper, which upgrades her Special Attack and Normal Skill into empowered normal attacks.
3. Use empowered Special Attack : Shaper- Mirror Dive
   This grants Shaper - Axe, increasing Crit Resistance.
4. Use empowered Normal Skill : Shaper- Blade Volley
   This grants Shaper - Longsword, increasing Crit Defense.
5. With all three Shaper buffs active, her cooldowns reset. Use Shaper- Mirage Blade from the Ultimate to deal bonus damage, consume the three Shaper buffs, and repeat the loop.

The rotation is strict. If you just spam buttons, her damage drops hard. Once it clicks, she feels fast and rewarding.

A key detail: the cooldown reset happens when you first acquire all three Shaper buffs. Refreshing them does not reset your skills again. So after the reset, avoid immediately dumping your Special Attack and Normal Skill unless you are following the correct loop.

Potential Priorities

P4 is playable, but P6 makes her feel much better, and P10 is where she becomes a real monster.

Best Team Comp: Wind DPS Core

Clotho can apply Wind Burst and increase Wind damage taken. Daisy provides Crit Damage support, while Elizabeth keeps the team alive. If you want more damage and less comfort, Wind Elizabeth can be slotted in, but your sustain will suffer.

2. Nunchaku Khala : The Wind Burst Enabler

Nunchaku Khala is a Wind Burst support. She applies Bitter Wind, boosts Wind Burst damage, gives the team Crit Chance, and provides a barrier when Wind Burst is triggered.

She is not the main damage dealer here. She is the setup unit that makes a Wind DPS hit harder.

Core Mechanics & Rotation

Her passive, Wind Acrobat, gives all allies Crit Chance when they attack an enemy affected by Bitter Wind. When an ally triggers Wind Burst, Wind allies gain Crit Damage, and all allies receive a barrier based on Khala’s Attack.

Her Special Attack, Windmill, stacks Bitter Wind. Each stack increases active Wind Burst damage. Her Normal Skill, Whirlwind, builds Burst Gauge quickly and makes her immune to Reactions while spinning.

Basic Rotation

1. Apply Bitter Wind
   Use Special Attack to stack Bitter Wind on the target.
2. Build Burst Gauge
   Use Normal Skill Whirlwind. Hold it if needed to fill the gauge fast.
3. Trigger Wind Burst
   Let your Wind DPS trigger the burst, or trigger it with Khala if necessary. The team gains Crit Damage and a barrier.
4. Use Ultimate : Gale Snare
   This helps build Burst Gauge and deals bonus damage if the enemy already has Wind Burst active. Use it when you need extra gauge or a finisher.
5. Refresh Bitter Wind
   Keep the debuff active so allies keep getting the Crit Chance bonus.

A major weakness: the Special Attack projectile does not chase the enemy. If the target moves out of it, you lose stacking time. P5 helps a lot by adding extra projectiles.

Best Team Comp: Wind Burst Setup

Clotho is the main damage dealer here. Khala applies Bitter Wind and triggers Wind Burst support. Daisy boosts Crit Damage, and Elizabeth keeps everyone alive.

Elaine can work if heavily invested, but she is not as smooth as Clotho. If a future Wind DPS like Lancelot arrives, Khala’s Nunchaku stock could rise significantly.

3. Gauntlets Khala : The Earth Burst Support

Gauntlets Khala is an Earth Burst support designed around Ban. She fills the Earth Burst Gauge quickly, buffs Normal Skill damage, and increases the damage Earth enemies take from Normal Skills.

Core Mechanics & Rotation

Her passive, Trickster, increases Earth Attack whenever an ally triggers Earth Burst. Her Normal Skill, Hook Blast, buffs all allies’ Normal Skill damage based on Khala’s Crit Damage. Her Special Attack, Impact Mine, spawns bombs that rapidly build Burst Gauge.

Her Ultimate, Blast Top, builds even more Burst Gauge and makes enemies take increased Earth Normal Skill damage.

Basic Rotation

1. Open with Normal Skill : Hook Blast
   This gives the team a Normal Skill damage buff and starts her bomb pressure.
2. Use Special Attack : Impact Mine
   Spawn bombs around Khala. These fill the Earth Burst Gauge very quickly.
3. Trigger Earth Burst
   Let Ban or another Earth unit activate the burst. Khala’s passive then increases Earth Attack.
4. Use Ultimate : Blast Top
   This builds more Burst Gauge and applies Earth Normal Skill vulnerability to the enemy.
5. Repeat Normal Skill and Special Attack
   Keep the Normal Skill buff active and continue feeding Burst Gauge for Ban.

The important part is that Khala does not need to be the one who triggers Earth Burst. As long as an ally activates it, her passive still works. That makes her flexible as a sub-burster.

Best Team Comp: Earth Ban Core

Ban benefits enormously from Khala’s Normal Skill damage buff and Earth Normal Skill vulnerability. Gowther lowers enemy Defense, and Daisy boosts Crit Damage. If you need more sustain, swap Daisy or Gowther for Elizabeth depending on the fight.

• Engraved Equipment: Ultralight Work Clothes

Ultralight Work Clothes synergizes with her normal-attack loop, giving Crit Damage and stacking Crit Resistance and Crit Defense, which her passive converts into more offensive stats.

Nunchaku Khala

• Armor: Full Shadow Spider Breath set
• Accessories: Shadow Spider Breath Earrings, Necklace, Ring
• Engraved Equipment: Full Preparation
• Stats: Wind Burst Efficiency → Attack → Crit Chance → Buff Duration
• Spell Bead: Wind

Full Preparation is ideal because it boosts Wind Attack and Crit Damage after Bitter Wind and Wind Burst interactions.

Gauntlets Khala

• Armor: Full Shadow Spider Breath set
• Accessories: Shadow Spider Breath Earrings, Necklace, Ring
• Engraved Equipment: Model Citizen
• Stats: Earth Burst Efficiency → Crit Damage → Attack → Buff Duration
• Spell Bead: Earth

Model Citizen increases Earth Burst Efficiency and gives Earth allies Crit Damage after Ultimate use, which fits Ban teams perfectly.

Should You Pull for Khala?

Khala is a flexible SSR, but she is not a universal must-pull.

You main Earth Ban or want a strong Earth Burst support. She is excellent even at P4.

You enjoy rotation-based DPS and can invest toward P6/P10.

You already have a strong Wind DPS like Clotho, or you are preparing for a future Wind carry.

Skip or wait if: You are free-to-play and still need rerun units like Elizabeth, Merlin, or Daisy. Khala is good, but she is not required for most current content.

Khala is a well-designed character with three very different jobs. The question is not whether she is strong, but whether your account has the team that needs her.
