So, you’ve jumped into Fate War, huh? You’re building your tribe, managing resources, and trying not to get zeroed by the whales on your server. But here’s the real question: Are you investing in the right heroes?
That’s why I put together this Fate War Tier List for 2026. We’re ranking every hero from the god-tier meta definers to the ones you should honestly just leave in the tavern.
Grab a drink, and let’s get into it.
How This Tier List Works
Before you start typing angry comments about your favorite hero, listen up.
This list is based on end-game performance,PvP viability, and return on investment. That hero who feels OP at Chieftain Hall Level 10 might be completely useless when you’re facing maxed-out garrisons in Season 3.

We’re looking at:
- S+ Tier: The absolute monsters. Build them. Max them. Cry tears of joy.
- S Tier: Top-tier performers. Excellent ROI. Build these after your S+ core.
- A Tier: Solid, reliable, and sometimes situational. Great for specific comps.
- B Tier: Early-game heroes or niche picks. Don’t spend your legendary mats here.
- C/D Tier: Fodder. Benchwarmers. Avoid unless you have no choice.
Alright, let’s rank ‘em.
S+ Tier – The Meta Kings & Queens
These heroes define the battlefield. If you have them, you invest everything into them. If you don’t, you save up until you do.
Amaterasu (The Undisputed Queen)

Talent Trees: Sieging / Balanced / Skill
Is anyone surprised? Amaterasu has been sitting at the top since her limited event debut, and she’s not moving.
Why is she so broken? Judgment ignores DEF and damage reduction entirely. That means she doesn’t care how much money the enemy spent on defensive stats. Then there’s Reflective Light—a passive that literally one-shots attackers by bouncing their damage back at them .
She’s versatile, she’s lethal, and she’s the best all-around hero in the game. Period.
Yi Sun-sin (The Fortress)

Talent Trees: Balanced / Garrison / Defense
The newest addition to the top tier, and boy, did he earn his spot. Yi Sun-sin is the garrison king. If you hate waking up to a burning city, this is your guy.
He’s expensive to build—there’s no sugarcoating it. But a fully-invested Yi Sun-sin turns your city into a death trap. Attackers will think twice before rallying you. For competitive players, he’s non-negotiable .
Helda (The Glass Cannon)

Talent Trees: Axethrower / Sieging / Skill
Helda is fun. She’s the definition of a glass cannon—squishy as hell, but she hits like a truck. Her burst damage is insane, and she reduces enemy healing, which absolutely ruins sustain comps .
Pair her with Kaira or Roro, and watch her delete enemy frontlines before they can even react.
Reinhardt (The Reliable Carry)

Talent Trees: Balanced / Versatile / Defense
Reinhardt has quietly risen in the meta as the game has matured. He’s not flashy, but he’s consistent. He buffs your damage dealers, survives forever, and works in almost any lineup.
His synergy with Kaira is particularly nasty—he buffs her while she debuffs the enemy, creating a snowball effect that’s hard to stop .
Erin (The Cavalry Nightmare)

Talent Trees: Cavalry / Hunting / Skill
Best cavalry hero in the game. Period. Erin deals insane single-target burst damage with Wind Slash and Nord’s Wrath, and her mobility makes her a nightmare in open-field PvP .
Pair her with Selena for a cavalry burst comp that deletes priority targets before the enemy can even respond .
S Tier – Elite Performers
These heroes are just a hair below the S+ crowd, but they’re still incredible. Build these after your S+ core is solid.
Reid (The Immovable Object)

Talent Trees: Berserker / Garrison / Defense
Reid is the most consistent hero in the game. He doesn’t rely on burst windows or specific pairings. He just… survives. His HP pool is massive, and his counterattack mechanics make him a frontline anchor that enemies hate to face .
If you need someone to hold the line while your carries do their thing, Reid’s your guy.
Kalthas (The Debuff Machine)

Talent Trees: Axethrower / Hunting / Attack
Kalthas is a solid ranged damage dealer, but his real value comes from his debuffs. And here’s the kicker—pair him with Vista, and they both jump to SS-tier together .
The Kalthas/Vista combo creates a feedback loop of buffs and debuffs that makes your entire team hit harder and last longer. It’s one of the best synergies in the game.
Vista (The Utility Queen)

Talent Trees: Balanced / Versatile / Support
Vista is the definition of a utility support. She buffs your team’s ATK/DEF while simultaneously debuffing the enemy. She’s also great for gathering resources with Skerne .
Her position in the meta is always stable because percentage-based scaling never goes out of style.
Roro (The Axethrower Enabler)

Talent Trees: Axethrower / Versatile / Openfield
Roro is the support that Axethrower comps desperately need. Her healing and support kit keep glass cannons like Helda alive long enough to do their job .
If you’re running an Axethrower lineup, Roro isn’t optional—she’s essential.
Iris (The Primary Healer)

Talent Trees: Support / Balanced / Healing
Iris is a dedicated healer, and at competitive levels, healing scales better than you think. At low power, healing feels meh. At high power, the team that survives one extra exchange wins .
She’s not flashy, but she’s load-bearing. Don’t sleep on Iris.
A Tier – Solid & Reliable
These heroes won’t carry your account on their own, but they fill critical roles in competitive compositions.
Selena (The Cavalry Enabler)

Talent Trees: Cavalry / Hunting / Openfield
Selena is the partner that Erin needs. She provides the frontline durability and lock-down mechanics that cavalry burst comps require. Without Selena, Erin’s hit-and-run potential is wasted .
Voll (The Berserker)

Talent Trees: Berserker / Hunting / Skill
Voll is a solid pick with his own rage engine. He has a chance to ignore enemy DEF when your troops are low on HP, which creates some crazy comeback potential .
He works better against NPC enemies than in PvP, but he’s still worth having in your rotation.
Kaira (The Blind Assassin)

Talent Trees: Axethrower / Versatile / Openfield
Kaira deals burst damage, blinds enemies, and reduces their damage output. She works great with Axemen and pairs perfectly with Reinhardt .
If she starts snowballing with debuffs, it’s a hard game for the enemy.
King Arthur (The Newcomer)

Talent Trees: Balanced / Leadership / Skill
The newest addition to the roster. Early data suggests he fills a leadership role with broad troop-type compatibility. He’s promising, but we’re still seeing where he lands in the fully-developed meta .
Kiana (The Crowd Control Specialist)

Talent Trees: Balanced / Support / Control
Kiana can inflict crowd control on enemies, heal allies, and provide support depending on the situation. She works great alongside Reinhardt .
She’s not S-tier, but she’s a solid flex pick.
B Tier – Early Game or Niche
These heroes are fine for the first few weeks, but don’t invest heavily. You’ll replace them.
- Aelfwine– A solid healer for early and mid-game, but Iris outscales him.
- Linda– Sub-DPS and buffer. Works with Kalthas, but falls off later .
- Rex– Great early-game tank, especially with Karl. But he doesn’t scale into late-game PvP .
- Sara– Straightforward kit. Damage + debuffs. Outclassed by higher-tier options.
C Tier – Benchwarmers
Don’t bother. Seriously. Save your resources.
- Elena
- Skerne
- Sigrid
- Baldur
These are mainly B-rank characters with the occasional A-rank, but they’re not worth upgrading, let alone spending Talent Points on .

Just… no.
- Elia
Outclassed by literally everyone else. There’s no point in picking a hero that leads to a sure loss .
Best Hero Pairings You Need to Know

Individual power only gets you so far. Synergy wins championships. Here are the combos you need to be running :
Kalthas + Vista (The Buff/Debuff Engine)
SS-tier synergy. Kalthas stacks debuffs while Vista buffs your team. Together, they elevate every other hero in your lineup. This is the pairing that wins rallies.
Erin + Selena (Cavalry Burst)
The definitive cavalry pairing.Erin deletes targets; Selena locks them down so they can’t escape. Use this for hit-and-run PvP and targeted strikes.
Helda + Kaira (Axethrower Debuff Extension)
Helda’s healing reduction + Kaira’s debuff extension = dead enemies who can’t be healed. This pairing covers each other’s weaknesses while amplifying strengths.
Reid + Karl (Fortress Frontline)
Not flashy, butinfrastructure. This frontline survives forever, giving your carries time to do their job. Essential for garrison defense.
Reinhardt + Kaira (Buff/Debuff Cycling)
Reinhardt buffs Kaira; Kaira debuffs the enemy. The damage differential widens with every exchange. Great for extended PvP engagements.
Final Thoughts
Look, Fate War is a marathon, not a sprint. The meta shifts with every new season and limited hero release. But if you focus on the heroes in S+ and S tier, you’ll never be caught off guard.
That’s it for my Fate War Hero Tier List – 2026 Edition. The meta will change, and when it does, I’ll be back with updates.
Until then, keep your city burning (the good kind), and I’ll see you on the battlefield.
