S-Tier Characters

Vivienne

Vivienne is universally considered the single most important character in Tomb Busters. She can handle both solo and coordinated group playstyles. Her active ability is called Forge’s Blessing. Lily can physically possess a teammate via her Haunting Companion skill and ride on their back as a companion nicknamed Bubu. While attached, she absorbs a significant portion of the host's incoming damage and reduces the time of their ability cooldowns.

Also, while Lily is riding on a teammate, the team's overall stamina consumption drops because of the Together in Suffering skill. Furthermore, she can deploy a remote projection to scout dangerous hallways ahead while keeping her actual body safely tethered to the frontline teammate.

Caine

Alice

Alice is a survival support unit designed to act as an emergency healer when the battle is crucial. She can revive one downed character. Also, her skill Medical Efficiency can increase the duration and effects of medical healing items. Also, she can use her own skill to double the healing effects.

Alan

Alan excels at navigating maps with environmental hazards and dense fog with his skill, Insight Protocol. Also, his ability, called Lightborne, carries a 50% chance to completely ignore trap damage. This lets him confidently trigger pressure plates or tripwires that would cripple other characters.
