Hey there, trainers! The new 3-star character Nishino Flower banner dropped on April 12. Is she worth your jewels? How do you build her for maximum impact? LDshop helps you to break it all down.

Should You Pull?
If you’re missing a strong Sprint/Mile Pace Chaser or Late Surger, absolutely yes.
Nishino Flower comes with 15% Speed and 15% Power growth, making her a natural sprinter. She dominates turf Sprint (1000–1400m) and Mile (1600–2000m) races. She can also handle the Trackblazer scenario and Champions Meeting events with ease.

How Her Unique Skill Works : “Budding Blossom”
This is where things get interesting. The skill has two parts:
Step 1 The Prerequisite: During the mid-race phase, Nishino Flower must be blocked or challenged on a corner. If that never happens, the skill won’t activate at all.
Step 2 The Activation: Once the prerequisite is met, the skill can trigger when:
- She’s in 3rd place or further back, up to the top 40% of the field (roughly 3rd–4th in a 9-horse race, 3rd–5th in a 12-horse race)
- She’s at least halfway through the final corner (late-race phase)
That’s why Pace Chaser is her best running style.Pace Chasers naturally sit in that 3rd-to-40% pocket. Running her as a Late Surger makes the positional window harder to hit, so stick with Pace Chaser.

Key Concept: Race Bonus
In the Trackblazer scenario, Race Bonus is vital because it grants additional stats and rewards after every race. Prioritize cards with high Race Bonus – Nishino Flower’s own SR Power card (“Lifting Your Spirits”) offers a 15% Race Bonus, making it a fantastic filler choice. Always try to reach at least 50% total, and push to 65% if you have MLB cards.
