Update Overview
Events
The Sound of the North event series and the Memory Tome event will soon become available.
New Features
The update adds Mount Skin, Exalted Sanctum, Equipment Recommendation, and several new features for the Kingdom Mayhem Conquest Season Jormungand’s Calamity.
Optimizations
The update reduces Migration Pass consumption, improves the Collector feature, optimizes Monster Sweep, removes the Level 10 restriction for Hero Talent upgrades, extends certain Aegir’s Feast buffs, supports chat translation when quoting messages, and adjusts multiple shops.
Fixes
The update fixes multiple issues in Morreg’s Perilous City, Quick Hero Lineup, Magic Card Adventure, Escort Caravan, Arena, Aegir’s Feast, Season Summon, and other systems.
This means the update matters not only to event players, but also to season players, tribe members, kingdom leaders, and long-term progression players.
Sound of the North
The Sound of the North event series will soon become available after the update. According to the official announcement, this event series is themed around nature, song, dance, music, and communication with the gods.
Unlock Requirements
To join the Sound of the North event series, players need to meet the following requirements
Reach Main Castle Level 9
Reach Chapter 19
If your account has not met these requirements yet, your first priority should be upgrading your Main Castle and progressing through the chapters.
Event Tips
The exact missions, reward structure, and event duration should be checked in-game after the update. Once the event goes live, players should confirm
|
1. Event duration |
4. Reward requirements |
|
2. Daily mission reset rules |
5. Whether speedups, stamina are needed |
|
3. Event item or exchange rules |
6. Check resources, or battle actions |
For free-to-play players, the most important thing is to avoid missing daily tasks. Limited-time events often reward consistent participation, so starting early is usually better.
For active players, try to combine Sound of the North tasks with daily gathering, monster hunting, training, and tribe activities to save time and resources.
Memory Tome
Memory Tome is one of the most important parts of the June 24 update. The event is themed around the Viking journey and records longship voyages, Einherjar’s Oath, and the legends of the gods. Players can collect the full Card Album to obtain corresponding rewards.
This suggests that Memory Tome will focus on Card Album collection and progress rewards. The exact card acquisition rules, album completion requirements, reward tiers, and event duration should be checked in-game after the event launches.
Unlock Requirements
Memory Tome has higher unlock requirements than Sound of the North:
Reach Main Castle Level 10
Reach Chapter 21
If you are close to these requirements, consider pushing your Main Castle and chapter progress before the event opens, so you do not miss early rewards.
Why Memory Tome Matters
Memory Tome is important because it is directly connected to the new Mount Skin feature. The official announcement confirms that Mount Skin Shards will be released in the Memory Tome event.
This means Memory Tome may become one of the first important sources for Mount Skin Shards. Even if you are not focused on cosmetics, you should still pay attention to this event because Mount Skins can provide universal attribute bonuses.
Memory Tome Strategy
After the event opens, check the reward preview first and confirm where Mount Skin Shards are placed.
- Whether the full Card Album must be completed
- Whether there are milestone rewards
- Whether Mount Skin Shards are fixed rewards or exchange rewards
- Whether there is a daily earning limit
- Whether the event requires daily participation
- Whether the full album reward is the main prize
Do not spend resources blindly before reading the event rules. Check the event page first, then decide whether speedups, items, or paid resources are worth using.
Mount Skin
The update introduces the new Mount Skin feature. Players can collect corresponding Shards to unlock brand-new Mount Skins.
Feature Unlock Requirement
Players must first unlock the Mount system before they can use Mount Skin-related content.
If you have not unlocked the Mount system yet, you may still be able to collect Mount Skin Shards through Memory Tome, but you may not be able to use the Mount Skin feature immediately.
How to Get Mount Skin Shards
Mount Skin Shards will be released in the Memory Tome event.
Universal Attribute Bonuses
The most important part of the Mount Skin feature is that its attribute bonuses can take effect universally, whether the skin is equipped or not.
This makes Mount Skins more than simple appearance items. They may become part of long-term account progression. For players focused on Might, combat performance, and account growth, Mount Skin Shards can be more valuable than ordinary cosmetic items.
Player Advice
If you have already unlocked the Mount system, prioritize Memory Tome and check how Mount Skin Shards are obtained.
If you have not unlocked the Mount system yet, keep progressing toward it while collecting shards if possible.
If you are a progression-focused player, do not ignore Mount Skins simply because they look cosmetic. Their universal bonuses may matter in the long run.

Exalted Sanctum and Advanced Skin Content
The update also opens the Exalted Sanctum feature within Exalted Privilege. It can be unlocked after obtaining the Exalted Collection Tier 1 City Skin.
New Exalted Collection sets have also been added, covering Tier 2–6 City Skins and other Skin content.
This part of the update is more relevant to players who are already invested in advanced skin collections and Exalted Privilege. For most casual players, it may not be the main priority, but for high-end collectors, it is an important long-term system expansion.
Equipment Recommendation
The new Equipment Recommendation feature recommends basic, monster, and blessed equipment based on a hero’s troop type.
This is very useful for new and mid-game players. Instead of manually comparing hero roles, troop types, and equipment effects, players can now use the recommendation system as a starting point.
However, system recommendations should be treated as a basic guide rather than the final answer. Advanced players should still adjust equipment based on hero skills, troop composition, battle goals, and tribe strategy.
Kingdom Mayhem: New Jormungand’s Calamity Content
The update adds several new features to the Kingdom Mayhem Conquest Season Jormungand’s Calamity, including King’s Shop, Jotun Warzone, Tribe Jotun, Blockade Tower, and Manor Treasury.
King’s Shop
During the battle period, the King can use the new skill Royal Trade Decree to open the King’s Shop for a limited time. Once opened, all Chiefs can spend War Merit to exchange for goods, whether they are in the Kingdom or in Kingdom Mayhem.
This increases the value of War Merit and gives kingdom leaders another tool for resource coordination during the season.
Jotun Warzone and Tribe Jotun
Tribes can occupy arenas and summon Jotun Gladiators. After completing the challenge, they unlock Tribe Jotun, which can be deployed by the Captain or commanders to participate in battles or Building Scramble.
When the Jotun’s Life reaches zero or the time limit expires, it will be automatically recycled and enter cooldown.
This adds more strategic options for tribes during season battles, especially in building contests and battlefield control.
Blockade Tower
Blockade Towers are located at strategic points on the map. Their built-in City Territory blocks player Tribes from further expanding their City Territory.
This makes map control and strategic positioning more important during the season.
Manor Treasury
In Manor Treasury, the deposit period and treasury level jointly determine the Yield. The higher the level and the longer the period, the greater the Yield. After the period ends, the principal and Yield are automatically settled.
This feature adds another layer to season resource planning.
Tribe Showdown Update
The most important addition is the Commendation Order feature during the settlement period. After weekly settlement, players in the Tribe with the most MVP counts and the highest contribution points that week can claim exclusive rewards, while other players can claim random congratulatory rewards.
This feature will take effect in the next event period, starting with the Tribe Showdown on July 6.
The S4 Season Tribe Ranking rewards have also been adjusted, with Jewel drops added for Gold Leagues and above. The event will also add a pop-up and tab showing the week’s battle status, and the server range will gradually expand in the future.
For tribe players, this makes weekly contribution and MVP performance more meaningful.
Kingdom Management and Season System Updates
The update also adds several features related to kingdom management, migration, and kingdom statistics.
Kingdom Imprisonment
The new Kingdom Imprisonment feature allows the King to spend Gems to imprison any Chief in the Kingdom. Imprisoned Chiefs cannot enter Kingdom Mayhem and will be locked at their City coordinates.
This is mainly a kingdom management tool. Regular players should pay attention to kingdom rules, especially before and during season activities.
Kingdom Migration Applicant Settings
New sorting and Might threshold settings have been added for Kingdom Migration applicants. The King can set the minimum Might value for migration applications, with the lowest value being 0 and the upper limit based on the Kingdom’s special Might requirement for that migration.
This allows more detailed migration management and may affect players who plan to move to another kingdom.
Other New Displays
The update adds Dragon Crystal Level Ranking, Kingdom Strength Statistics, Kingdom Might explanation tooltip, and Kingdom Mayhem honor display in the Tribe Honor Wall.
These changes improve kingdom data visibility and honor presentation.
Key Optimizations
Several optimizations in this update are worth noting.
Migration Pass consumption has been greatly reduced for powerful, common, and recommended Kingdoms.
Collector level cap increases to Level 60 after the Sx season, with new Bonus Overview and Level Rewards tabs.
Monster Sweep now has a confirmation pop-up and a Sweep Again button.
Hero Talent Upgrade no longer requires the hero to reach Level 10 first.
Aegir’s Feast buffs are improved, with many buff effects lasting until the event fully closes.
Chat now supports translation when quoting others’ messages.
Multiple shops have adjusted item types and prices, with some prices reduced.
The mail system now separates handwritten King Mail from the new Kingdom Notice category.
These changes improve both daily gameplay and long-term progression.
Fixes Summary
The update fixes multiple issues across different systems and events.
Morreg’s Perilous City receives several fixes, including monster portrait display issues, remaining troops after defeat, incorrect damage records, kill streak broadcast issues, battle time display errors, Supply Truck record errors, and more.
Quick Hero Lineup now saves lineups correctly.
Magic Card Adventure reward pop-up display issues have been fixed.
Escort Caravan escort value display has been fixed.
Arena Might display for Defense Lineup has been corrected.
Aegir’s Feast fixes include blocked water relocation and incorrect Warship icons.
Season Summon button display issues have been fixed.
Several text and display problems have also been corrected.
These fixes may not change your strategy directly, but they should make daily gameplay, season battles, and event participation smoother.
