Heads up, Chiefs! A new Viking Rise maintenance is hitting the servers on May 27 from 06:00 to 06:30 UTC. We are getting a massive drop of endgame content, fresh events, and some highly requested quality-of-life features. Here is a quick breakdown of everything coming to Jotunheim and your home city.

New Kingdom Mayhem & Events

The battlefield is heating up with a brand-new KvK theme and some fresh competitive events to test your tribe's coordination.

Jormungand's Calamity KvK

• The World Serpent Awaits: The new Kingdom Mayhem Conquest Season is officially titled "Jormungand's Calamity".
• March to Jotunheim: You and your tribe will head into the frozen realm to challenge the ultimate mythical beast.

Tribe Showdown Mode

• Sx Server Launch First: This event drops first for Sx Season servers (Servers 1–552) and will roll out to older kingdoms later.
• Seasonal Format: One season lasts for 5 weeks, featuring 1 intense showdown every single week.

Pitch Party Event

• Go All Out: A brand-new event is kicking off where sports meet survival. Only the top-performing Chiefs will claim the championship rewards.

 

Massive 900-Day Endgame Drops

For the veteran kingdoms out there, the devs are finally unlocking the next tier of power. Note that these are locked behind a strict chronological gate.

New Sx Heroes

Note: These characters only become available after your Kingdom has been open for 900 days.

• Havarl: Known as the "Skull-Splitting Hammer", bringing heavy raw power.
• Galveig: The "Azure Lance Oath", ready to hold the frontlines.
• Eflreya: The "Silver Moon Aria", adding utility and tactical depth.

New Sx Skills

• Tanngrisnir Chariot: High-tier active skill synergy.
• Verdfor's Wings: Boosts tactical mobility and grid control.
• Gullinbursti's Roar: Pure offensive AOE buffing.

 

 

System Overhauls and Skin Reskins

Whales and collectors, rejoice. Managing your hard-earned cosmetics and burning excess points just got a whole lot easier.

Castle Skin Transformation

• True Transmog Mechanics: You can now freely switch the visual look of any Castle Skin you own.
• Keep Your Stats: Your active combat attributes stay tied to your best stat skin, meaning no more sacrificing power for fashion.
• Unlock Requirement: You must permanently own at least 7 Castle Skins to use this feature.

Exalted Privilege Feature

• Requirement: Your server age must be 56 days or older, and you need Prosperity level 18 (Previews start at level 15).
• Spend Excess Points: Once unlocked, dump your extra Prosperity Points into the Exalted Shop and Exalted Wheel.
• Starry Wing Skin: Spin the wheel to grab Shards and fuse them to claim the exclusive "Starry Wing" City Skin.

UI Fixes & Returns

• Map Labels: Added a clear "0" label to the map and changed the "Battalion" text color to red for easier scouting.
• Anniversary Return: The popular 2025 "Fun Anniversary Movement" skin is making a comeback very soon.
