Lighthouse Overview

Once you reach Furnace level 7, you can unlock the Lighthouse. As mentioned before, the Lighthouse is the place where you get all the Intel Missions. These missions refresh every 8 hours. You will need Chief Stamina to complete these missions, so you have to manage your stamina as well.

When you open the Lighthouse, you will see that there are many missions available. Each of these missions are of a different difficulty tier and you can also see what rewards you can get. You can choose any mission first, but the higher-tier missions usually have better rewards. Once you complete the current missions, you have to wait for the next refresh to get new missions. You can upgrade the Lighthouse to get better rewards and missions to a maximum of level 20.

Types of Intel Missions

There are different types of Intel Missions you can get from the Lighthouse. Let us talk about these types in detail.

Beast Hunting

In these missions you have to kill different levels of wild beasts. These missions are very basic combat encounters. If you have your heroes upgraded to high levels, then you will have no problem in defeating them. These missions also give decent rewards like hero experience, shards, and even rare materials.

Rescue Survivors

These missions are probably the easiest missions. Once you activate a rescue survivor mission, your troops will rush to the survivors and rescue them. As soon as they are rescued, you will get rewarded with bundles, shards, stamina boosts, and other items.

A Hero’s Journey

In these missions you have to assign heroes and troops of your choice (Infantry, Lancer or Archer). These heroes then fight some opponents. If you have well-upgraded heroes, then you can easily defeat the opponents in no time. As soon as your assigned heroes win, you will be rewarded with resources, gear, and XP.

Bounty

These missions are divided into Rookie and Advanced levels. These are also fairly easy missions and target NPC enemies. Advanced Bounties give better loot, but you will need more stamina and stronger heroes.

To get maximum efficiency in these missions, complete the higher-tier missions first. This is because you have limited stamina, and also you will get enough rewards from the high-tier missions which will allow you to skim some low-tier missions and not miss out on a lot of good rewards.

Mission Difficulty and Tiers

Each mission has a specific difficulty level: Common, Epic, and Mythic.

  • Common missions are the easiest and require the least stamina, but you will get very normal rewards.
  • Epic missions offer better loot, including higher hero shard drop rates.
  • Mythic missions are the rarest and most rewarding, and you can get many valuable shards for powerful heroes.

These difficulty levels are not unlocked at first. At lower levels you will be able to see only common missions. When you upgrade your Lighthouse to higher levels, you will be able to access higher-level missions. Refresh Cycle and Stamina Planning

Since missions refresh every 8 hours, the maximum daily completions depend on your activity level. If you are a very active player, then you can earn rewards from these missions upto 3 times everyday. However if you are a casual player, you can still get rewarded 1-2 times daily, which is still a very consistent method of gaining resources for free.

Stamina Tips

  • Avoid spending all stamina on other activities (like Arena or world map events) before checking the Lighthouse.
  • If you are close to a Lighthouse upgrade, prioritize finishing Lighthouse missions to refresh the missions sooner.

Daily Best Practices

You can follow these methods to get the most from the Lighthouse:

  1. Clear all missions before reset. If you leave them incomplete, they will get refreshed and you will be wasting valuable rewards.
  2. Unlock more marches so you can run several missions at once which reduces your waiting time.
  3. If you see Epic or Mythic missions, complete them first and then move on to the Common missions.
  4. Keep checking your stamina every now and then. Keep some stamina reserved before the next refresh so that you don’t slow down your progress in the next set of missions.

Mid-to-Late Game Importance

The Lighthouse does not unlock in your early game. But as you progress, it becomes a very important part of your game.

  • Hero Development: Mythic-tier missions can provide shards for powerful heroes introduced in later generations.
  • Gear Progression: Some rare gear materials can drop here, reducing reliance on difficult events.
  • Consistent XP: High-tier missions give significant hero XP, keeping your team competitive without buying large XP packs.

Conclusion

The Lighthouse is a key source of rewards in Whiteout Survival. By completing missions daily, managing stamina, and upgrading it, you can steadily improve your heroes and resources. Focus on higher-tier missions and never miss a refresh to keep progressing quickly and strengthening your overall power.
