Wuthering Waves 3.4 Echo Management Plan Complete Guide & Import Codes

 

Hello, fellow Rovers! Wuthering Waves has update version 3.4. With Version 3.4 shaking up the meta and introducing new characters and playstyles, it’s the perfect time to do a deep clean.

In this guide, LDShop will help you through the updated Echo Management Plan for 3.4, share the latest import codes for every server from the game expert, and provide a full lock-and-discard reference table so you know exactly what to keep and what to feed to the Data Fusion grinder.

How to Import an Echo Management Plan

First, make sure your Data Bank level is at least 21. Then:

Open your Terminal and enter the Data Bank.

Scroll down the left menu to the very bottom and select Echo Management.

Hit Share & Import in the top-right corner.

Paste one of the codes below into the Import Plans field, tap Read Plan Code, and confirm.

Once imported, the plan will automatically mark echoes as keep or discarded. This single step saves you hours of manually sorting through hundreds of echoes.

Standard codes will lock valuable echoes and leave the rest for disposal. The No-lock version does the opposite; it marks trash echoes as discarded and leaves everything else untouched. Pick whichever workflow you prefer; the end result is the same.

 

What’s New in the 3.4 Lock/Unlock Philosophy?

With every patch, new Sonata sets and character synergies force us to adjust our hoarding habits. Here’s what changed in 3.4 and how it affects your echo management:

2-Piece + 2-Piece Builds Are Back on the Menu

Certain new characters (notably Rebecca) thrive on mixed 2-piece sets rather than a full 5-piece. For example, one popular setup pairs a 2-piece that boosts a specific damage type with an Electro DMG Bonus Cost 3 from the Frosty Resolve set. As a result, we are now locking Electro DMG Bonus on Frosty Resolve’s Cost 3 in addition to its native Glacio DMG.

Energy Regen Adjusted for Some Sets

Previously, we locked Energy Regen main stats on a few hybrid sets out of an abundance of caution. After final character tuning, it’s clear that some units (like our new patch companion) get enough ER from substats alone. Therefore, ER main stat is no longer preserved for Tidebreaking Courage, freeing up even more inventory space.

Specialized 3-Piece Sets Are Now Disposable

Sets like Thread of Severed Fate, Flamewing’s Shadow, Crown of Valor, Law of Harmony, and Dream of the Lost are hyper-niche. If you don’t own the character they were designed for, you can safely discard every single piece. These have zero general-purpose value. The new ATK% 1-piece set can fill the gap for generic stats, making some old niche sets even more obsolete.

Lingering Tunes Goes to the Trash

This hasn’t changed: all Lingering Tunes echoes are still discarded. No current meta character wants this set, and the passive doesn’t hold up against modern alternatives.

If you do not own the character these 3-pc sets are designed for, you may safely discard all pieces.

Note on Frosty Resolve: Electro DMG Bonus Cost 3 is now locked to accommodate hybrid 2-piece builds (e.g., Rebecca). If you lack such characters, you can treat it like any other off-element stat and discard it.

Notes:

Generally, don’t throw away Cost 4 Echoes,they drop far less often than the other slots. If you get one with the wrong main stat, just reroll it with a Modifier.

Lingering Tunes is a complete write-off. No current character wants this set, so feel free to fuse every piece.

For support sets like Moonlit Clouds and Empyrean Anthem, the standard plan locks only ATK% for Cost 3 slots to keep things tidy. That said, if you’ve built a dedicated sub-DPS like Sanhua or Mortefi, it’s worth locking their matching Elemental DMG Bonus Cost 3 as well — just be ready to spend a few extra slots on it.

Fine-Tuning the Plan for Your Roster

No one-size-fits-all plan is perfect. Here’s how to customize:

If you don’t own a niche 5-star, go ahead and manually mark their entire BiS set for disposal. This instantly frees up dozens of slots.

If you’re building a specific sub-DPS, you might want to lock an additional Elemental DMG Cost 3 for their Moonlit or Empyrean set. The default plan often keeps only ATK% for these sets to save space, but you can adjust.

Healer mains: make sure DEF% and HP% pieces for Rejuvenating Glow or Halo of Starry Radiance are properly locked. The imported plan handles this, but double-check if you’ve been farming a lot.

The goal is to keep your inventory under control so that every echo in your bag is either an immediate upgrade, a future tuning piece, or a versatile off-set filler. Version 3.4’s new codes make that easier than ever.

With 3.4’s new characters rewarding flexible 2+2 combinations and further devaluing old specialized sets, a clean Echo inventory is your first real power spike.
