What Is Matrix Reform?

 Matrix Reform

The Matrix Reform is a 7-day puzzle event running until July 9. Each day unlocks one new "Breach Protocol" stage, with Normal and Hard difficulties available. You must be at Union Level 14 to participate.

Total Rewards (All Stages Combined):

Astrites ×400

Premium Resonance Potion ×6

Premium Energy Core ×4

Premium Sealed Tube ×4

Forgery Advanced Supply – Lahai-Roi ×21

Advanced Loot Supply – Lahai-Roi ×52

Shell Credits ×480,000

Note: Rewards are cumulative. Each stage gives a portion of these totals upon completion.

Puzzle Rules

If you are new to this puzzle type, here is a quick breakdown of the rules:

  • The Grid: You are presented with a matrix (grid) of codes. Each cell has a unique identifier based on its row and column.
  • Target Sequence: The game gives you a list of codes you must select in a specific order.
  • Row/Column Alternation (Crucial!): After your first click, you must alternate between rows and columns. If you click a cell in Row 1 first, your second click must be in a different column (any row), your third click must be in a different row again, and so on. If you break this pattern, the sequence resets.
  • Buffer Capacity: This is the number of steps you can store before the system clears your progress. If you exceed the buffer limit without completing a target sequence, your current chain breaks.
  • No Repeats: You cannot click the same cell twice in a single attempt.

Tips Before You Start

Here are a few tips to make these puzzles much easier:

  • Start with the longest chain: Always look at the longest Target Sequence first. Its path usually dictates the entire route for the stage.
  • Plan ahead: Before clicking anything, look at all target sequences and try to combine shorter ones into a single long path to save buffer space.
  • Don't fear the Reset: There is no penalty for resetting. If you mess up, just hit the reset button and try a different approach.
  • Hard Mode awareness: Hard mode usually adds extra sequences or reduces the buffer capacity. Focus on efficiency.
  • THE LIGHTBULB TRICK (Quick Finish): If you really do not want to spend time figuring out the logic, look for the small lightbulb icon right next to the Reset button. Clicking it will instantly play the official built-in solution path for you. Just follow the highlighted clicks, and you will clear the stage effortlessly!

Full Walkthrough (Day 1–7)

Here are the detailed solutions for the unlocked stages. I will add new ones here daily.

Day 1 – "City Lights"

Day 1 – "City Lights"

Normal Mode – Target Sequence:
7A (Row 1, Col 1)→ BD (Row 3, Col 1)→ 1C (Row 1, Col 3)→ FF (Row 3, Col 4)

Day 1 – "City Lights"

Hard Mode – Target Sequence:
7A (Row 1, Col 1)→ BD (Row 4, Col 1)→ FF (Row 4, Col 4)→ BD (Row 4, Col 3)→ 7A (Row 3, Col 2)
Day 1 – "City Lights"

Day 2 – "Greetings from the New World"

Day 2 – "Greetings from the New World"

Normal Mode – Target Sequence:

1C (Row 1, Col 3)→ BD (Row 3, Col 3)→ E9 (Row 3, Col 1)

1C (Row 4, Col 1)→ BD (Row 3, Col 4)

Day 2 – "Greetings from the New World"

Tip: The buffer clears automatically after eliminating Sequence A. You have exactly 5 slots, so you safely complete the 3-step and 2-step chains separately.

Hard Mode

BD (Row 1, Col 1)→ FF (Row 3, Col 1)→ 1C (Row 3, Col 3)→ BD (Row 4, Col 3)
BD (Row 4, Col 3)→ FF (Row 4, Col 4)→ 1C (Row 2, Col 4)→ BD (Row 2, Col 2)

Hard Mode

Day 3 – 7 (Coming Soon!)

FAQ

Q: I missed Day 1 and Day 2. Can I still do them?

A: Yes! All stages remain available until the event ends on July 9. You can go back and clear them in any order.

Q: Do I have to do both Normal and Hard?

A: Yes, if you want all the rewards. The rewards for Normal and Hard are separate and stack. I recommend doing both.

Q: Why can't I click a specific cell?

A: Double-check the Row/Column alternation rule. If your last click was in Row 1, your next click must be in a different column (not the same column as the last one). Also, ensure you haven't already used that cell.

Hi, I’m Nicole, a game content writer and editor who focuses on breaking down complex game systems into clear, practical guides that players can actually use. I spend most of my time exploring how progression mechanics work in modern RPGs and live-service games—especially systems involving character building, resource loops, and upgrade structures like console setups, module systems, and gacha-style mechanics. My goal is to take all the confusing parts of a game and turn them into something simple, readable, and efficient, so you can spend less time guessing and more time progressing.
