Understanding the Mingshen System

The Mingshen System utilizes Skywatch Rings displayed across the Land of Xuanfang to detect and log suspicious activities, directly aiding Constables in maintaining peace and security throughout Xuanfang Hold.

The system organizes content into two main categories:

- Cases – Investigation-focused content where you analyze clues and solve mysteries

- Commissions – General tasks and errands that help maintain order in Xuanfang

Both types of content reward you with Constable Tokens, a special currency used at the Yard Exchange for various rewards.

Cases are investigation-driven quests that require you to analyze clues, interview suspects, and uncover the truth behind various incidents. Here's every case available in the Mingshen Notices event:

Commission Walkthrough Highlights

Potential Risk: A Road to Riches II – After completing Part I, wait two days and read the WavesLine message about Jianji going missing. Look for Jianji north of Preening Pool.

A Chill Day Out – Read WavesLine messages from the Mingshen System, visit Yuan's Flavors in Huizhen Plaza, and meet Suisui. This commission rewards the Silky Afterglow livery for your Expedition Motorcycle.

Lost Taste – Set the time to 12:00 tomorrow and read the WavesLine message from the Mingshen System. This involves a globe-trotting ingredient hunt that even takes you back to the Black Shores.

Combat Qualification – This unique commission puts you in control of an Autopuppet. You'll fight scripted battles where you and your allies can only deal 1 point of damage per attack. The fight is repeatable after completion.

The Last Squarefield Sparring – A lengthy quest requiring you to solve all 9 Squarefield Sparring puzzles around the map, culminating in a boss fight against a Forbidden Bastion.

How to Play Mingshen Notices

Step 1: Unlock During Chapter 4 Act 1

As mentioned above, the event unlocks during the Main Quest "The Wind Before the Storm". After meeting Liangyu and unlocking the Four Chime Shaftpost, you're ready to begin.

Step 2: Scan and Investigate Active Cases

Open your map in Xuanfang and access the Region Guide to see marked case locations. Approach these locations to begin investigations.

During investigations, you'll need to:

- Analyze different clue choices

- Interview NPCs

- Use the Sensor tool to find hidden clues

- Deduce the truth from gathered evidence

Example – Lost Pages Woven in Myths: This case requires investigating four suspects' alibis and using clues to identify the real culprit. You must submit the correct clues for three deduction questions.

Step 3: Gain Clearance Through Investigation

Progressing through cases grants you clearance to unlock additional commissions and content. The more cases you solve, the more of Xuanfang's mysteries you can access.

Step 4: Complete General Commissions

Once you've unlocked the Resonance Nexus in Xuanfang Hold, you can freely explore and start doing General Commissions. These range from combat trials to exploration and puzzle-solving, and they're your primary source of Constable Tokens.

Step 5: Upgrade Your Clearance

Interact with the Resonance Nexus in Xuanfang Hold to obtain the Mingshen System's high-level clearance, unlocking access to more General Commissions.

Tips and Strategies

Prioritize High-Value Rewards

With limited Constable Tokens in Supply Reserve I, prioritize the Lustrous Tides (200 tokens each, 10 available) and the Phantom: Smiter (650 tokens) first—these are the most valuable limited items.

Complete Cases Before Commissions

Some commissions require case progression to unlock. Focus on available cases first to gain clearance for more content.

Use the Sensor Tool

Many investigations require using the Sensor tool to find hidden clues. Keep it equipped when exploring case locations.

Read WavesLine Messages

Several commissions and cases are triggered by WavesLine messages from the Mingshen System. Always check your messages after progressing through quests.

Track Your Progress

Use the Cases and Commissions tabs on your map to track unlock requirements and your progress through each activity.

Conclusion

The Mingshen Notices event in Wuthering Waves Version 3.5 offers a rich and rewarding experience for players exploring the Land of Xuanfang. Whether you're investigating mysterious cases alongside the Constables or completing general commissions to help the locals, every activity contributes to your Constable Token stash and brings you closer to valuable rewards like Lustrous Tides, the Phantom: Smiter echo, and exclusive trophies.
