WuWa Suoming Build: Best Weapons, Echoes, Stats, Teams & More

Looking for the best Suoming build in Wuthering Waves? Suoming is an upcoming 5-star Electro Sword Resonator in Version 3.7.

Her strongest role currently looks to be an offensive Sub-DPS and Unison partner, especially alongside Hsin. But she is not locked into a pure support role. Suoming can also consume her own Unison to power up her enhanced Basic Attacks and stay on the field longer.

In this guide, we'll cover the best Suoming build in Wuthering Waves, from weapons and Echoes to stat priorities, Resonance Chains, and team recommendations.

How Does Suoming Work?

Suoming's combat revolves around Delusion and several enhanced states. Entering Deep Mind changes her Basic Attacks into stronger versions, while her Forte Circuit lets her build toward attacks such as Whirling Thunder and Engraved Heart.

The most important part, however, is what happens after Suoming gains Unison.

Option 1: Switch Out and Buff Your Main DPS

If Suoming switches characters while holding Unison, it triggers her Outro Skill and the incoming Resonator's Intro Skill.

Her Outro can provide the incoming character with Electro DMG Amplification, plus additional Resonance Skill DMG Amplification when Unison Boon is active. She can also continue dealing damage through Thunder Crest coordinated attacks after leaving the field.

This is the preferred route when Suoming is supporting Hsin or another compatible Electro DPS.

Option 2: Keep Suoming On Field

You can also choose not to switch.

After obtaining Unison, Suoming can consume it herself through her Resonance Skill to activate Seal Master, greatly strengthening her own Basic Attack-focused damage window.

This turns Suoming into a much more aggressive on-field unit. The latest 3.7.1 testing also increased the strength of this personal-damage route, even though her formal Main DPS combat tag was removed.

The important thing is to decide before spending Unison. You cannot use the same Unison window for both Suoming's personal burst and her full swap support.

Suoming Skill Priority

For most builds, use:

Forte Circuit > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Resonance Liberation > Intro Skill

Forte Circuit

Prioritize the Forte Circuit first.

A large part of Suoming's important personal damage and state mechanics are tied to her Forte, including her enhanced attacks and major finishing sequences.

Basic Attack

Basic Attack should come next because Suoming's enhanced attack strings remain a major part of her field time.

This becomes even more important if you plan to use the Seal Master route and let Suoming stay on field.

Resonance Skill

Her Resonance Skill is not just another damage button. It also connects her enhanced attack sequences and can be used around her defensive counter mechanic.

Resonance Liberation

You still need the Liberation because it is central to accessing Unison and setting up the next part of the rotation.

Its value comes more from enabling Suoming's mechanics than from its raw multiplier alone.

Best Weapons for Suoming

Unspoken Rue

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | Crit. Rate: 24.3%

Unspoken Rue is Suoming's signature Sword and the most complete weapon for her current kit.

It offers CRIT Rate and ATK while interacting directly with Unison. More importantly, its effect also follows Suoming's two possible playstyles.

If you use Suoming as a Sub-DPS, the weapon can contribute additional Electro support to the team. If Suoming consumes resources and remains on the field, the weapon shifts more of its power into her personal Electro DMG instead.

This makes Unspoken Rue the safest choice if you want to freely switch between support and personal-damage rotations.

Red Spring

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | Crit. Rate: 24.3%

Red Spring is a strong premium alternative if you already own it.

Its offensive stats work well with Suoming's Basic Attack-heavy playstyle, making it especially useful if you want to give her more field time instead of building purely around her Outro.

You should not pull Red Spring specifically for Suoming, but an existing copy can save you from needing her signature immediately.

Emerald of Genesis

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | Crit. Rate: 24.3%

Emerald of Genesis is the easiest standard 5-star alternative to recommend.

It gives CRIT Rate, some Energy Regen, and ATK through its passive. Suoming does want to use her Resonance Liberation consistently, so the extra Energy Regen is useful without forcing you to sacrifice too many offensive Echo substats.

If you already have Emerald of Genesis leveled, it is perfectly reasonable to use it first before deciding whether Unspoken Rue is worth your Astrite.

Lumingloss

Rarity: 4-star | ATK: 388 | ATK: 36.5%

For a 4-star option, Lumingloss fits Suoming surprisingly well.

Its passive increases Basic Attack DMG after using a Resonance Skill, which lines up with a large part of Suoming's enhanced attack sequence. The main drawback is its lower base stats and lack of CRIT, so you will need stronger Echo rolls to compensate.

Pulling Suoming and Her Weapon?

Suoming and Unspoken Rue arriving close together can make the Astrite budget pretty tight.

If you're short on pulls, you can use a Wuthering Waves top-up on LDShop to prepare more Lunites for Suoming and Unspoken Rue.

Best Echoes for Suoming

Best Overall: Heart of Sworn Vigil

The current best all-around Echo set for Suoming is 5-Pc Heart of Sworn Vigil.

Its 2-Pc bonus provides Electro DMG, while the current 5-Pc effect can activate when the wearer gains Unison or triggers Unison Response. This makes it particularly easy for Suoming to maintain during her normal rotation.

The current test version grants additional CRIT Rate and Electro DMG once triggered, which directly improves the two stats Suoming wants most.

It also works regardless of whether you eventually play her as a longer-field damage dealer or as Hsin's offensive Sub-DPS, making it the safest set to prepare first.

Support Option: Flash of Electric Reflection

Flash of Electric Reflection is worth watching if your only goal is maximizing Suoming's support for an Electro DPS.

Its current effect can give additional Electro DMG to the incoming Resonator after an Outro Skill. On paper, that matches Suoming's Hsin rotation extremely well.

There is one problem. The current effect requires the wearer to inflict Electro Flare, while Suoming's present kit text does not clearly show a reliable way for her to apply Electro Flare herself.

So for now, I would not farm Flash of Electric Reflection specifically for Suoming until the final trigger conditions are confirmed.

Temporary Option: Void Thunder

If you already have a good Void Thunder set, you do not need to rush into rebuilding Suoming immediately.

It still provides Electro DMG and works as a straightforward temporary DPS set while waiting for good Heart of Sworn Vigil pieces.

Suoming Echo Main Stats

Use the standard 4-3-3-1-1 setup.

If you use Unspoken Rue, CRIT DMG will usually be easier to run on the 4-Cost Echo because the weapon already provides CRIT Rate.

Without a CRIT Rate weapon, CRIT Rate becomes much more valuable.

Suoming Substat Priority

CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > ATK% > Basic Attack DMG Bonus > Energy Regen > Flat ATK

Do not sacrifice strong CRIT and ATK rolls just to chase a fixed Energy Regen number. There is currently no reliable final Energy Regen breakpoint for Suoming.

The goal is simply to have enough Energy Regen to use her Resonance Liberation consistently within your rotation.

 

Best Suoming Resonance Chains

Suoming already has a complete rotation at S0, so you do not need Resonance Chains to make her work.

S2: Best Early Stopping Point

S2 is particularly attractive because it improves both sides of Suoming's kit.

She gains additional CRIT DMG herself, while her Outro can also provide CRIT DMG to the incoming Resonator. That means the Sequence remains valuable whether you focus on Hsin or Suoming's own damage.

S3: Better for More Suoming Field Time

S3 further improves her Unison Boon access and enhances her Basic Attack damage after Resonance Liberation.

If you specifically want Suoming to spend more time dealing damage herself, S3 is the more relevant stopping point.

Best Suoming Team

You do not need a huge team section here because Suoming's team choices depend heavily on whether you want to use her as an Unison Sub-DPS or give her more field time.

For the current build, the safest recommendation is:

Hsin

Suoming

Shorekeeper

Hsin takes most of the main DPS field time, while Suoming provides Electro buffs, Resonance Skill DMG amplification, Unison interactions, and coordinated attacks after switching out. Shorekeeper rounds out the team with healing, CRIT buffs, and team-wide damage support.

The pairing is especially strong because Hsin can fully use Suoming's Electro and Resonance Skill-oriented support.

Suoming Rotation

Suoming's rotation changes depending on what you want to do with Unison.

Hsin + Suoming Rotation

A simple version looks like this:

• Set up your support buffs.
• Bring Suoming in through Intro Skill when possible.
• Enter Deep Mind and build her required resources.
• Use Resonance Liberation to obtain Unison.
• Switch to Hsin while Suoming still has Unison.
• Trigger Suoming's Outro and Hsin's Intro.
• Complete Hsin's main damage window while Suoming contributes coordinated attacks.
• Use Hsin's Unison to bring Suoming back in and trigger Unison Response.
• Repeat the cycle.

The main thing to watch is Unison timing. Do not stay on Suoming for a few extra low-value attacks and accidentally lose the handoff window.

On-Field Suoming Rotation

If you want Suoming to deal more damage herself:

• Enter through Intro Skill.
• Reach Deep Mind.
• Use Resonance Liberation and obtain Unison.
• Do not switch out.
• Consume Unison with the appropriate Resonance Skill to activate Seal Master.
• Use her enhanced Basic Attack sequence.
• Finish with her stronger Forte attacks before resetting the rotation.

This route gives up Suoming's immediate Unison handoff in exchange for a much stronger personal damage window.

Suoming's build mainly comes down to balancing her personal damage with her Unison support.
