Robin is coming to Zenless Zone Zero through the Version 3.4 Honkai: Star Rail collaboration. Her current kit shows a clear Ether Defense support role built around Max HP, team shields, off-field attacks, and Entry Points.
This guide covers Robin’s current kit, Core Passive, Mindscape Cinema, Drive Disc build, skill rotation, and materials.

Role |
HP-Scaling Shielder / Off-Field Support |
Robin scales heavily with her initial Max HP. Her shields, Off-Field Guard DEF buff, and part of her Enhanced Aftershock damage all improve through HP.
Because of this, HP should be the main focus when building her.
Robin Core Mechanics
|
Mechanic |
Effect |
|
Robin Shield |
Stacks when reapplied and can reach up to 8% of Robin’s initial Max HP. Gaining the shield also gives the character 25% increased DMG for 15s. |
|
Off-Field Guard |
Robin stays off-field for up to 60s while providing DEF support and triggering Aftershocks. |
|
Entry Points |
Aftershocks generate Entry Points, up to 120. At 100 points, Robin can return through her Entry Skill. |
|
Buff Enhance Point |
Gained after using Entry Skill. The next Off-Field Guard consumes it to increase the DEF bonus and DEF cap by 25%. |
Robin Skill Kit
Basic Attack
Basic Attack: Robin Attack
Robin performs up to three attacks forward, dealing Ether DMG.
At Lv.12, the three hits deal 76%, 88%, and 230.7% DMG respectively.
Dodge
Dodge: Robin Dodge
Robin performs a quick dash dodge and is invulnerable during the animation.
Dash Attack: Robin Dash
Deals Ether DMG. At Lv.12, it has a 252.6% DMG Multiplier and 74.9% Daze Multiplier.
Dodge Counter: Robin Counter
After a Perfect Dodge, Robin attacks enemies in front with her staff.
At Lv.12, it deals 663.4% DMG and 338.9% Daze.
Assist & Entry Skill
Entry Skill: Robin Entrance
At 100 or more Entry Points, switching Robin onto the field consumes 100 Entry Points and fires a powerful Energy blast.
The skill counts as a Quick Assist and grants the entire squad a Robin Shield equal to 4% of Robin’s initial Max HP for 20 seconds.
At Lv.12, Robin Entrance has a 2128.8% DMG Multiplier.
Defensive Assist
Robin parries incoming attacks and deals heavy Daze.
At Lv.12, its Light, Heavy, and Chain Defensive Daze Multipliers are 407.7%, 514.4%, and 250.4%.
Counter Assist
Robin can counter certain enemy Control Skills through a power clash, neutralizing the attack on success.
She also has multiple Assist Follow-Ups, including Grapple Assault and Grappling Synergy Strike.
Special Attack & Off-Field Guard
Special Attack: Robin Exit
Robin deals Ether DMG, triggers a Quick Assist, and enters Off-Field Guard after switching out.
She also grants a Robin Shield equal to 2% of her initial Max HP for 15 seconds.
While Off-Field Guard is active, Robin boosts the squad’s DEF. When her initial Max HP exceeds 16,000, every additional 1,000 HP grants 80 DEF, up to 800 DEF.
Special Attack: Aftershock
While Robin is off-field, attacks from the active Agent can trigger Aftershock once every 8 seconds.
Each Aftershock generates 20 Entry Points and gives the squad a Robin Shield equal to 3% of Robin’s initial Max HP.
EX Special Attack: Enhanced Aftershock
If Robin has at least 40 Energy, Aftershock upgrades into Enhanced Aftershock.
It consumes 40 Energy, deals stronger Ether DMG, adds heavy attack damage equal to 55% of Robin’s Max HP, generates 20 Entry Points, and grants a stronger shield equal to 6% of initial Max HP.
Chain Attack & Ultimate
Chain Attack
Robin fires a powerful laser forward.
At Lv.12, it deals 1379% DMG.
Ultimate
Robin channels energy through her song to deal massive Ether DMG.
After activation, 40% of each Agent’s current Robin Shield is converted into that Agent’s HP.
Core Passive
Robin’s Core Passive ties together her shield, team buff, Entry Point loop, and Off-Field Guard state.
When Robin uses certain skills, she grants all squad members a Robin Shield based on a percentage of her initial Max HP for 15 seconds.
Receiving Robin Shield again stacks the shield value and extends its duration, up to 60 seconds. The total shield value cannot exceed 8% of Robin’s initial Max HP.
Each time a squad member gains Robin Shield, that character’s DMG increases by 25% for 15 seconds. Repeated triggers refresh the duration.
After Robin uses her Special Attack and switches out, she enters Off-Field Guard for 60 seconds. During this state, her Aftershocks generate Entry Points, up to a maximum of 120.
At 100 or more Entry Points, Robin can manually switch back in through her Entry Skill, consuming 100 Entry Points and ending Off-Field Guard.
Using Entry Skill also gives Robin 1 Buff Enhance Point. The next time she enters Off-Field Guard, this point is consumed to increase both the DEF bonus and its cap by 25%.
Robin also recovers 15 Energy whenever a squad member triggers Maim.
Additional Ability
Robin’s Additional Ability activates when another squad member is an Armorer or Stun Agent.
Upon entering battle, Robin gains 1 Buff Enhance Point. In Domain Mode, this effect can trigger once every 180 seconds.
Robin Mindscape Cinema
Only the first three Mindscape effects currently have readable data. M4–M6 are still placeholders.
Mindscape 1
Whenever Robin consumes a Buff Enhance Point, all squad members gain 20% Laceration DMG for 60 seconds.
Robin also gains one stack of Feather Defense. When the active Agent takes damage, one stack is consumed to make them briefly invulnerable.
This adds both another team damage buff and an emergency defensive effect.
Mindscape 2
Whenever Robin triggers an Aftershock, all squad members’ damage ignores 12% of the enemy’s RES for 15 seconds.
Agents protected by Robin Shield also gain increased Anti-Interrupt level.
Because Aftershock is already part of Robin’s standard Off-Field Guard loop, this buff should be easy to maintain.
Mindscape 3
Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2.
Mindscape 4, 5, and 6 currently use placeholder data and should be updated once the full effects are available.
Robin Skill Rotation
Robin spends most of her time off-field, so her rotation is built around maintaining Off-Field Guard and repeatedly triggering Aftershocks.
Robin Exit → Off-Field Guard → active Agent attacks → Aftershock / Enhanced Aftershock → build Entry Points and Robin Shield → reach 100 Entry Points → Robin Entrance → gain Buff Enhance Point → re-enter Off-Field Guard
Because Robin Shield also gives 25% increased DMG, regularly refreshing the shield is important for both survivability and team damage.
After Robin uses Entry Skill, her next Off-Field Guard also receives the enhanced DEF effect from Buff Enhance Point.
Best Drive Discs for Robin
|
Bunny in Wonderland 4-Pc |
4-Pc: When the equipper is a Defense Agent, using an EX Special Attack or triggering a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist increases all squad members’ DMG by 6%, stacking up to 3 times for 25 seconds. |
|
Yunkui Tales 2-Pc |
2-Pc: HP +10% |
Bunny in Wonderland is currently the best fit for Robin’s support-focused kit.
The set works naturally with Robin because she is a Defense Agent and already uses EX Special Attack and Assist mechanics as part of her normal rotation.
The extra team DMG also stacks well with the 25% DMG Bonus from Robin Shield.
For the final 2-piece set, Yunkui Tales is the most straightforward option.
That extra HP improves Robin Shield, her Off-Field Guard DEF scaling, and Enhanced Aftershock damage.
Alternative: Swing Jazz 2-Pc
|
|
2-Pc: Energy Regen +20% |
If Robin already has enough HP but needs more Energy for Enhanced Aftershock, Swing Jazz 2-Pc is a useful alternative.
This option may become more valuable if Robin’s 40-Energy Enhanced Aftershock is difficult to maintain consistently in actual rotations.
Robin Drive Disc Main Stats

Recommended Main Stat |
|
4 |
HP% > CRIT Rate |
|
5 |
HP% > Ether DMG Bonus |
|
6 |
HP% > Energy Regen |
Recommended Substats: HP% > HP
Robin’s support effects depend heavily on initial Max HP, so full HP% main stats are currently the safest build.
CRIT Rate, Ether DMG Bonus, and Energy Regen can be considered once her HP requirements are already comfortable.
Robin Signature W-Engine
Base ATK: 713 | HP: 30%
When the equipper applies a shield, the whole squad's DEF increases by 10% for 10s. Repeated triggers extend the duration, up to a maximum of 25s. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad. When the equipper launches an Aftershock, the whole squad's DMG increases by 10% for 15s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers refresh the duration. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.

Final Thoughts
Robin already has enough pre-release data to prepare most of her build before Version 3.4 arrives. The main details still worth watching are her final boss-material names, the remaining Mindscape effects, and any balance changes made before release.
Since Robin will be available for free during the collaboration, preparing her materials early should make it easier to build her as soon as she joins your roster. If you are also saving for the other Version 3.4 banners, you can top up Zenless Zone Zero on LDShop before the update.
