Arknights: Endfield 1.2 New Gear Guide: Best Sets & Best Fits

Arknights: Endfield 1.2 brings in new gear sets and new off-pieces for older sets, and that matters because these additions immediately change who wants what. Qingbo gives combo-driven units a clearer lane, Xiranflow finally has obvious homes on reaction-consuming Arts characters, and the new off-pieces added to Frontiers, Bonekrusha, and Swordmancer reshape older builds for specific names across the roster. This guide focuses on exactly that: which new 1.2 gear fits which characters, why the pairing works, and who gained the most from the patch.

3-PC Effect: Attack +15%. Whenever the wearer consumes Electrification or Corrosion, the wearer gains a number of buff stacks equal to the Status Level of the Arts Reaction consumed, with each buff stack giving Electric DMG Dealt and Nature DMG Dealt +15% for 25s. The number of buff stacks maxes out at 3 stacks. Duration of each stack is counted separately.

Best-Fit Characters

Xiranflow is a DPS-oriented gear set built for operators who personally consume Electrification or Corrosion as part of their normal rotation. Its value does not come from merely applying those reactions, but from repeatedly cashing them out to gain stacking Electric DMG and Nature DMG bonuses, with stronger reaction levels generating more stacks. That makes it best on selfish Arts carries or battle-skill-focused damage dealers whose kit actively converts status into burst windows. It is much weaker on pure supports, setup units, or characters that only leave Electrification or Corrosion on the target without consuming them themselves.

Eternal Xiranite Auxiliary Arm

Xiranflow is currently the best fit for Zhuang Fangyi because her kit lines up with it almost perfectly. She does not treat Electrification as a side bonus. It is the center of her damage loop. Her rotation starts by getting Electric Infliction or Electrification on the target, her Combo Skill turns Electric Infliction into Electrification, and her Battle Skill then consumes Electrification for her big damage pattern. That means the set’s stacks come online naturally during the exact part of her rotation where she is already trying to burst, so the buff has basically no awkward setup tax on her.

For now, this set is basically hers alone, because it rewards repeated Electrification cash-outs inside a fast, skill-driven burst loop, and she fulfills that condition most cleanly.

Best-Fit Characters

Qingbo suits operators whose rotation stays tightly linked to frequent Combo Skill usage. It shines on skill-driven DPS that can trigger their Combo Skill naturally, keep acting inside the follow-up window, and turn that tempo into sustained pressure. The set feels best when Combo Skill is part of the character’s regular damage pattern instead of an occasional extra button.

LYNX Slab

LYNX Slab

Qingbo makes sense on Tangtang because her damage comes in a tight Combo Skill → Battle Skill / Ultimate sequence, and her Combo Skill mainly exists to set up the real payoff. The set lines up with that rhythm perfectly: lower Combo cooldown, stronger follow-up skill damage, plus Heavy Armor / Gauntlets / Positioning Kit all lean into her burst profile with Agility/Strength, All Skill DMG, and Battle Skill DMG stats that her rotation actually cashes out.

For support Wulfgard, this Qingbo mix works because his main job is to keep Heat Infliction and occasional forced Combustion coming on time. Qingbo’s Combo CDR directly helps that, while Heavy Armor + Gloves add Ultimate Gain, letting him reach those utility ultimates faster. Bamboo Cutter then patches in some Heat-side personal damage, so his “lighter” role stays active without becoming dead weight between procs.

Qingbo Light Armor + double Qingbo Cask fit Perlica because her kit really wants one thing above all: more frequent Combo Skill access. Her Combo Skill applies Electrification on Final Strike, which is the core of both her team utility and her own burst setup, while her Battle Skill and Ultimate still care a lot about Intellect, Will, and Arts Intensity. These Qingbo pieces support both sides of that job, so Perlica gets smoother Electrification uptime without giving up too much personal damage.

Frontiers Extra O2 Tube T1

Frontiers Extra O2 Tube T1 suits Alesh and Xaihi for the same core reason: both appreciate extra Intellect from Secondary Attribute % on a support build. For Alesh, that boosts his Int-scaling talent while Frontiers also gives an easy team DMG buff through his SP-recovery loop. For Xaihi, more Intellect directly improves her Ultimate’s Amp scaling.

Arclight can use it well too. The reason is different from Alesh/Xaihi: on her, Frontiers is strong because her Combo spam keeps the teamwide DMG buff up almost permanently, and Frontiers Extra O2 Tube T1 adds Secondary Attribute %, which further boosts the value of her talent. So it works as a very efficient support-leaning stat stick on her build.

Bonekrusha Gloves are great for Avywenna because they let her reach Bonekrusha 3pc with double Bonekrusha Figurine T1, so she no longer has to lock her armor slot into Bonekrusha just to keep the set bonus. That matters a lot on her, since her damage is still built around Combo setup into Battle Skill payoff, which is exactly what Bonekrusha rewards.

The better read for Da Pan is that T1 Gauntlets give Strength + Will + Arts Intensity, which fits his Crush / reaction-heavy damage profile much better than the old pure Ultimate DMG version. With double NAV Beacon adding even more Strength + Arts Intensity, the whole setup pushes his real day-to-day damage pattern instead of overcommitting to one burst button.

For Chen Qianyu, the big shift is that Swordmancer feels less like a “nice utility set” and more like a real personal damage set now. Heavy Armor T1 gives her a direct Physical DMG boost, and double Dagger pushes her already-strong Ultimate much harder.

For Lifeng, the real change is that Swordmancer becomes far more offense-oriented than before. Heavy Armor T1 adds a direct Physical DMG push, while Dagger sharply increases how much his Ultimate contributes to his total output. So instead of feeling like a set you wear mainly for the extra proc and stagger pressure, this version gives Lifeng much cleaner personal damage and stronger burst payoff.

Conclusion

What makes Endfield 1.2 fun is that the new gear is not just bigger numbers for the sake of it. Qingbo sharpens skill-tempo characters, Xiranflow finally gives reaction-consuming DPS a proper home, and the updated off-pieces on Frontiers, Bonekrusha, and Swordmancer open up cleaner, less awkward builds for units that used to feel slightly constrained. In other words, this patch gives more characters an actual identity checkmark instead of just another stat stick.

If you are planning to pull, farm, or top up around these 1.2 builds, LDShop Endfield Top-up is a handy option to keep on your radar before you commit your resources.
