Camille is set to arrive on June 26, 2026, as a new Heat-focused Vanguard in Arknights: Endfield. Unlike a simple damage dealer, his value comes from keeping Heat rotations active while still contributing meaningful personal damage. This guide covers Camille’s early build direction, including skill priority, best weapons, gear choices, and team comps based on his currently available kit information.
Overview

Rarity: 6-star | Class: Vanguard | Weapon: Polearm | Element: Heat
Camille is a flexible Heat-focused Vanguard who can play as either a damage dealer or an enabler, depending on the team. His biggest value is how smoothly he keeps Heat-based rotations moving: he helps set up reaction windows, supports Heat carries, and still brings enough personal damage to matter. He should fit best in Heat or hybrid Arts teams where teammates can actively consume, trigger, or benefit from Heat-related effects.
Skills & Leveling Priority
Basic Attack — Sanguine Absolution

BASIC ATTACK:
Camille can perform up to 5 basic attack sequences, dealing Heat DMG to enemies. When performing a finisher on an enemy, Camille deals massive Heat DMG and restores some SP.
DIVE ATTACK:
Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Physical DMG to nearby enemies.
FINISHER:
Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher attack that deals massive Physical DMG and recovers some SP.
Battle Skill — Blazing Exorcism

Summons Firefang Vesperwings to fly toward the enemy, dealing Heat DMG and applying Heat Infliction to a small area of enemies, triggering Weakness, and Heat Susceptibility to the target.
When the target is hit by Camille’s combo skill, it takes additional explosion DMG. If the enemy is defeated, Firefang Vesperwings will fly toward another nearby enemy.
Combo Skill — Heartstake Thorn

Trigger: When an enemy’s Heat Infliction is consumed or absorbed. Performs a returning dash on the enemy, dealing Heat DMG and restoring some SP.
Ultimate — Sanguine Downpour

Camille flies to the sky, rains down a barrage of spears, and follows through with a sweep attack. This deals Heat DMG and applies Heat Infliction to enemies over a large area while restoring some SP. Shortly after casting, Camille enters a temporary Hunter Pursuit State, and his next battle skill is converted to an Enhanced Combo.
Based on the current prerelease kit info, Ultimate > Combo Skill > Battle Skill > Basic Attack makes a lot of sense for Camille.
His Ultimate is the biggest priority because it does more than burst damage: it sets up wide Heat Infliction, restores SP, and unlocks the next enhanced combo window, so it directly shapes his rotation tempo. Combo Skill comes next because Camille wants to trigger it often for Heat damage, SP return, and Link value in Heat teams. Battle Skill is still important, but it mainly acts as the setup button that marks enemies and refreshes his debuff package. Basic Attack is last because it is mostly filler and finisher utility, not the core of his real combat value.

This is Camille’s signature weapon, so naturally, it is his best-in-slot choice. A more detailed breakdown will be added after his official release. |

Alternative

Beacon of Duty |
Rarity: 6✦ Type: Polearm Base ATK: 485 |

Heat DMG Bonus: +11.20% When the wielder's skill applies Heat Infliction, the wielder gains Physical and Heat DMG Dealt +12.8% for 20s. When the wielder's skill applies Heat Susceptibility, the entire team gains Physical and Heat DMG Dealt +11.2% for 30s. |
|
|
Beacon of Duty works so well as Camille’s best non-signature option because his kit naturally triggers both buffs. His Battle Skill applies Heat Infliction and Heat Susceptibility, while his Ultimate keeps Heat application rolling. That means he gains strong personal damage and boosts the team without awkward rotation changes. |

|
JET |
Rarity: 6✦ Type: Polearm Base ATK: 500 |
|
Arts DMG Bonus: +19.20% After the wielder casts a Battle Skill, the wielder gains Arts DMG dealt +19.2% for 15s. After the wielder casts a Combo Skill, Arts DMG dealt +19.2% for 15s. The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves. |
|
|
JET is a solid fallback because Camille naturally casts both Battle Skill and Combo Skill in his rotation, making its two Arts DMG buffs easy to maintain. Since Heat is part of the Arts damage system, those bonuses still boost his main output, while the high ATK stat keeps his personal damage competitive. |

Type 50 Yinglung Radar T1 |
Type 50 Yinglung fits main DPS Camille because it turns the team’s Battle Skill usage into extra damage for his next Combo Skill, which is one of the key payoffs in his Heat rotation. The ATK bonus is always useful, while Gloves and Radar T1 further push Combo Skill and Ultimate damage, matching where most of his real carry value comes from.

This setup works for Sub DPS Camille because it shifts his value from pure personal damage into team support. Eternal Xiranite is easy for him to trigger through Heat Susceptibility, giving the main carry extra damage, while the Ultimate Gain Efficiency pieces help him cycle Ultimate faster, refresh Heat application, and keep his rotation smooth with limited field time.

Best Team Comps

Laevatain is the main carry here, and the team is built to keep her Heat engine moving. Wulfgard and Camille supply Heat Infliction, while Wulfgard’s forced Combustion and Ardelia’s Corrosion help trigger Laevatain’s Combo. Ardelia also adds Susceptibility and healing, but her Combo needs careful timing after Inflictions are cleared.

Rossi is the driver, with Mi Fu and Pogranichnik turning her Vulnerability setup into real payoff. Rossi creates and consumes Arts Inflictions to build Vulnerability, Mi Fu converts stacked Vulnerability into Crush damage, and Pogranichnik adds Breach, SP recovery, and grouping. Camille mainly supports the Heat side with Heat Infliction and Heat Susceptibility.

Rossi |

This version leans more into Rossi’s hybrid Arts-supported playstyle. Rossi provides the Vulnerability core herself, while Camille, Perlica, and Gilberta feed different Arts Inflictions to keep her Combo access and Heat-side damage online. Gilberta adds grouping and a short Arts Susceptibility burst window, which gets better when Vulnerability stacks are present.
Conclusion
Camille looks like a flexible pick for Heat and hybrid Arts teams, with room to play as either a carry or sub DPS depending on the setup. His final meta position may change after launch testing, so we will update this guide once more data is available. Preparing for Camille?
