Introduction
T0: Meta-Defining
Mika is an AP Support (Controller), whose core value lies in being the only character in the current version who can reliably restore Action Points (AP). Her AP regeneration skill significantly improves the entire team's skill rotation cycle, allowing main DPS characters to use high-cost skills more freely. This dramatically enhances the team's overall operational efficiency and damage ceiling, making her the cornerstone of any team reliant on skill combos.
Khalipe is a Vanguard, but also possesses significant damage capabilities. Her core card, "Vulture Launch," has the Celestial tag, which automatically triggers its effect when you play another 2-cost or higher card, dealing AoE damage and generating a shield, before returning to hand via the Retrieve effect. This mechanism allows her to continuously provide damage and protection without consuming extra AP, efficiently clearing groups of enemies and restoring AP for the team through Break damage. She was considered the most well-rounded frontline character during testing.
Mei Lin is a fire-element core focused on Single-Target DPS (Striker). She possesses the unique ability to apply Elemental Weakness. Her opening card permanently grants her this effect, causing all subsequent fire-element attacks against the target to deal an additional 25% skill damage and higher Break damage. This ability effectively compensates for team elemental shortcomings, greatly increasing the team's Break efficiency. The AP restored after breaking an enemy's Break gauge further optimizes skill rotations.
T1: Core Units
Orlea is a versatile Controller (Healer/Summoner). She can summon and evolve three types of creatures: offensive, supportive, and defensive. These summons start at 1-star or 2-star and can be fused into a higher-star, enhanced version when two of the same star level are in hand. Fully evolved 3-star defensive summons can provide massive healing or shields, and due to the Retain effect, offer sustained benefits without consuming AP.
Kayron is a Void-element AoE DPS (Psionic) and a core unit for dark teams. He strengthens his burst skills by generating and consuming "Futility" cards. When these cards are Exhausted, his main damage skills receive reduced AP cost or increased damage. During testing, he demonstrated top-tier AoE damage potential, but requires specific team composition to quickly exhaust his Futility cards.
Renoa is a Void-element specialist in Single-Target Burst damage (Hunter). She generates special "Bullet" cards which are not played directly, but instead automatically trigger extra attacks when she uses her other skills. The more bullets she has, the more extra attacks occur. She is one of the strongest single-target damage dealers in the game, particularly suited for high-HP boss battles, but her burst cycle is longer, requiring sufficient bullet accumulation to reach maximum potential.
Hugo is an Order-element Combo-focused DPS (Hunter), a versatile wind attacker. His core skill grants him stacks of "Hunt Commence" when allies use non-attack cards. When any character deals single-target damage, he consumes one stack to perform a follow-up attack. Hugo's damage does not rely on AP; placing him as a sub-DPS in the team provides considerable damage output with high resource efficiency.
Veronica is a Passion-element Auto DPS (Ranger). After playing her upgrade card at the start of the battle, she automatically generates "Ballista" cards at the start of every turn. These cards are automatically triggered at the end of the turn, dealing damage to random enemies and consuming zero AP. Once set up, she provides stable, free damage every turn, while her other skills can also help the team cycle through their deck, making her an ideal sub-DPS that doesn't interfere with the main carry's attacks.
Rin is a Void-element extreme damage dealer (Striker), a selfish hyper-carry. She significantly increases her damage by entering the "Dark Cloud" stance, but this stance ends if an ally uses an attack card. Under ideal conditions, Rin possesses top-tier single-target burst potential, but her team composition is extremely demanding, requiring teammates who do not use attack cards (like pure support characters) to maintain her stance.
