Brant, hailing from Rinascita, was set to join the roster in the WuWa2.1 .He is an all-around character who combines damage dealing, healing, and supporting.

Brant, a 5-star character , is a Fusion Resonator who wields Sword, positioned as a versatile support and sub-DPS.

Skill Priority

As mentioned earlier, Brant’s core abilities focus on damage and survivability. To optimize his performance, it’s recommended that upgrades be prioritized in this order:

Forte Circuit > Basic Attack=Resonance Liberation > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill

Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation are two important skills for Brant to boost both his damage and healing ability, while Resonance Skill and Normal Attack offer additional damage potential. Outro Skill’s damage is the least priority for maximizing his effectiveness.

Obviously the best weapon for Brant is his signature weapon. The stats given by Brant's signature is the same as Shorekeeper's weapon who also has a heavy ER scaling, seems to be something that the healers have in common. But ER is what Brand truly needs, as he requires a total of 280% Energy Regen to function optimally. 

The passive will give 8% CRIT Rate and after casting Resonance Liberation, basic attack DMG is increased by 24% for 10s. When casting a Basic ATK, it will be additionally increased by 24% for 4s.

Increase ATK by 12%. When dealing Basic Attack DMG, the wielder gains 12% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 14s. This effect can be triggered once per second, stacking up to 3 times.

When the wielder's Concerto Energy is consumed, gain 40% Basic DMG Bonus for 10. This effect can be triggered once per second and ends when the wielder is switched off the field.

Energy Regeneration will be very important for Brant, so his best F2P option is going to be the Overture. Its substat can increase his ER up to 51.8%.

It will also help in restoring his Concerto energy. When Resonance Skill is cast, it restores 8 Concerto energy. This effect can be triggered 1 time every 20s.

Other viable weapon options (not as excellent as the above but still usable):

Best Echo Sets

1. The Best Echo Set

Tidebreaking Courage

2-Pc: Energy Regen + 10%

5-Pc: Increase the Resonator's ATK by 15%. Reaching 250% Energy Regen increases all Attribute DMG by 30% for the Resonator.

It is introduced in Wuwa 2.3 version which you can say is specifically built for Brant. This set is perfect for Brant since you also need a ton of ER for your kit to work wonderfully.

Brant’s Signature Weapon provides 77% energy regen, so if you’re using other weapons, Brant shouldn’t equip the Tidebreaking Courage set and should instead use the Molten Rift set, as you won’t be able to reach 250% energy regen to trigger the Tidebreaking Courage set bonus.

Dragon of Dirge

The main Echo you will use is the Dragon of Dirge because it is a summon that has pretty good damage and it also gives 12% Fusion DMG bonus and 12% Baisc Attack DMG bonus.

5-Pc: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s

This echo set is great if you want to fully focus on Brant as your support for your DPS.

Impermanence Heron

Once the initial attack lands on any enemy, the current character regains 10 Resonance Energy. If the current character uses their Outro Skill within the next 15s, the next character’s damage dealt will be boosted by 12% for 15s.

 

2. Brant Support Best Echo set

Molten Rift(5)

2-Pc: Fusion DMG + 10%.

5-Pc: Fusion DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Resonance Skill.

This echo set will increase 40% Fusion DMG, which can build Brant a strong sub-DPS in the team.

Active Echo

Nightmare: Inferno Rider

The Nightmare version will buff Brant's Resonance Skill. Both of them will massively increase Brant's Fusion DMG.

Recommended Sequences

Sequence1

When using Forte skill, it will temporarily reduce the movement speed of enemies. When using it on and performing your intro skill or doing a flip after a mid-air basic, will give Brant 20% universal DMG bonus stacking up 3 times.

Honestly, this is an incredibly strong sequence, it is a way better version of Changli's S1, which is just there to give convenience, but Brant takes convenience and then also turns it into a 60% damage bonus.

Sequence2

His S2 will increase the CRIT Rate of his mid-air attack and his Forte skill by 30% and performing intro skill will mark a target for 20s. This mark will explode when they take skill DMG, triggering once per second and dealing Fusion DMG equal to 440 of Brant's attack. This is considered basic attack DMG and can explode up to 2 times.

This seems to just be more synergy with Changli because it is specifically triggered with skill DMG, but it's not like it's locked to Changli. Brant's skill only has a 4s cooldown, so he will be able to trigger both of these, even if you are running him as a hyper carry.

Sequence3

The S3 will increase the damage multiplier of his Forte skill by 42%, not the most incredible sequence. But considering how strong his S1 and S2 were, this is honestly pretty fair for S3.

Sequence6

His mid-air attack multipliers increased by 30% and when you cast a Forte skill, it will generate an explosion dealing Fusion DMG equal to 30% of the Forte skill, which is also considered basic attack DMG.

While not being like Camellya S6 or maybe not even a Jinsi S6, it is still good if you want to focus on Brant's DMG.

Recommendation: pull for S1 and S2 first, you can pull for S6 if you want.

It is worth mentioning that Brant’s signature weapon has the highest priority. Instead of upgrading the Sequence first, it is recommended to extract the signature weapons.

Recommended Teams

1. Dual-DPS/Quick Swap Team: Brant + Changli +Shorekeeper/ Verina/ Sanhua

Changli focuses on a dual-DPS / fast-swap playstyle but has high mechanical requirements.Brant provides perfect buffs for skill and Fusion damage, making him the core hyper-carry support for Changli by significantly boosting her damage output and unlocking her hyper-carry potential.

In addition to providing the traditional 15% All DMG Deepen like other healers, Shorekeeper’s Liberation can offer continuous healing, crit rate, and crit damage, making it very powerful. The Outro Skill’s buff allows knocked-back teammates to immediately recover from the interruption.

Shorekeeper can be replaced by Verina or Sanhua, but the effectiveness won’t be as good.

2. Team 2: Brant + Jiyan + Verina

This team focuses on maximizing normal attack damage output. Brant's Fusion buffs further amplify Sanhua's normal attack damage, making her a reliable secondary damage dealer.

Shorekeeper provides 15% All DMG Deepen, continuous healing, Crit Rate/DMG buffs, and instant recovery from knockbacks.Verina/Baizhi also offer All DMG Deepen and ATK%, but Verina adds longer buffs and a 10-min death shield.

Obviously, the team of Brant, Sanhua, and Baizhi is prepared for F2P Rovers.
