Changli is a counselor serving the Jinzhou Magistrate, and former Secretary-General in the capital. Shrouded in flames, she's fated to burn brightly until her final embers. With her fiery determination and strategic mindset, she rises to power, always thinking ahead to reach her ultimate goal.

Changli’s skill priority should focus on optimizing her team synergy and sub-DPS capabilities. To optimize her performance, it’s recommended that upgrades be prioritized in this order:

Resonance Skill > Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Normal Attack > Intro Skill.

Changli’s Skill is the core of her kit, ensuring her Insight buff remains active and allowing for seamless rotations. Forte Circuit and Liberation are the keys to dealing damage and Normal Attack can also help Changli enter True Sight state.

The wielder gains 1 stack of Searing Feather upon dealing damage, which can be triggered once every 0.5s, and gains 5 stacks of the same effect upon casting Resonance Skill.

Each stack of Searing Feather gives 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% additional Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for up to 14 stacks. After reaching the max stacks, all stacks will be removed in 12s.

Changli's signature weapon is exceptional for her and can also be utilized by any sword-wielding damage dealers who rely heavily on Resonance Skill damage. It provides a substantial main stat boost in CRIT DMG%, ensuring strong scaling potential. Additionally, it grants a permanent 12% ATK% increase and can amplify Resonance Skill damage by up to 56%.

Since she performs best in quick-rotation teams, she gains significant advantages from the boosts triggered by her Intro Skill. This weapon allows her to reliably activate its skill in the majority of team setups, making it a solid pick when 5-star weapons are unavailable.

5-Pc: Fusion DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Resonance Skill.

There are a lot of new Echoes introduced in Wuwa, but the old one Molten Rift would be the best echo for Changli currently. This echo set will increase 40% Fusion DMG, which can build Changli into a strong main DPS in the team.

Inferno Rider / Nightmare: Inferno Rider

The normal version will buff Changli's Basic Attack while the Nightmare version will buff Changli's Resonance Skill. Both of them will massively increase Changli's Fusion DMG.

Recommended Sequences

Sequence 1

Effect: Resonance Skill and Heavy Attack from her Forte Circuit deal 10% more damage and gain resistance to Interruption.

Evaluation: Minimal damage increase. The Interruption resistance is useful, but swap canceling can achieve the same result. It's not worth pulling unless aiming for higher sequences.

Sequence 2

Effect: +25% Crit Rate for 8 seconds when gaining Forte Circuit stacks.

Evaluation: Provides an 18% damage increase over S0 and makes Changli easier to build. However, it costs a significant amount of Astrites. There are reruns of other strong characters like Shorekeeper and Camellya in Wuwa 2.2, so it might be better to save for that instead. Best stopping point for F2P or low spenders.

Sequence 3

Effect: Resonance Liberation deals 80% more damage.

Evaluation: Only a 9% overall damage increase, which is underwhelming. Going for S2 + R1 (Signature Weapon at R1) is a better investment.

Sequence 4

Effect: After activating Changli’s Intro Skill, the entire team gains +20% ATK for 30 seconds.

Evaluation: Provides a 10% personal damage increase for Changli while benefiting secondary DPS characters as well. Decent for dual DPS teams, but overall not as cost-effective as S2. If you reach S4, it’s better to commit to S6.

Sequence 5

Effect: Forte Circuit’s attack multiplier increases by 50%, and its damage increases by 50%.

Evaluation: A huge 27% damage boost, making it a very solid upgrade. One of her best sequences before S6.

Sequence 6

Effect: Resonance Liberation, Resonance Skill, and Forte Circuit ignore 40% of enemy DEF.

Evaluation: A massive 39% damage increase over S5, doubling Changli’s damage compared to S0. Her best sequence, but requires a fortune to obtain.

Recommendation: S6 is her strongest sequence. If you plan to invest heavily, go all-in for S6 rather than stopping at intermediate sequences.

 

Recommended Teams

Changli can be played in several ways. She can be a pure hypercarry. Alternatively, she can be used as a quick swap DPS. She also has supportive capabilities through her Outro skill and can deal solid burst damage with her abilities, without needing much field time.

1. Quick Swap Team: Changli+ Brant +Shorekeeper

This is a team with 2 DPS, the character in Wuwa 2.1 Brant is a great partner for Changli in the quick swap team.

Conversely, Shorekeeper offers team-wide healing along with self-applied buffs that further boost the team’s overall damage.

2.Hypercarry Team: Changli + Zhezhi + Verina / Shorekeeper

In this setup, Zhezhi should be the Sub-DPS. She can boost Changli's enhanced Heavy Attack, which relies on Resonance Skill DMG. Plus, Zhezhi can perform Coordinated Attacks.

Shorekeeper and Verina's healing keeps everyone alive, while her Stellarealm and Outro Skill provide strong damage buffs for Changli.

 

3.F2P Team: Changli + Chixia + Baizhi

This team features two primary DPS units: Changli and Chiaxia. Despite being a four-star character, Chixia delivers remarkable burst damage.
