Jingliu Overview
Jingliu, the former Sword Champion of Luofu and the creator of the legendary tales of the Cloud Knights’ invincibility, now resides in the shadows of obscurity, branded as a traitor of Xianzhou.
Rarity: 5-star Combat Path: Destruction Combat Type: Ice
Once the sword master of the Xianzhou Luofu, as well as Jing Yuan's mentor. After succumbing to mara and going insane, she managed to escape Starskiff Haven in the Year 7380 of the Star Calendar, and easily froze all the Cloud Knights sent after her before Jing Yuan finally confronted and defeated her in battle. However, she managed to survive the encounter and traveled the galaxies outside the Luofu for centuries. At some unknown point, Jingliu "made a deal" to regain her sanity, which Luocha has proposed to be the solution to mara.
Trace&Skills Priority
If you want to get the most out of Jingliu, upgrading her traces in the right order is super important. Based on how her Ultimate and skills work, here's the best way to level up her traces:
- Skill– Jingliu’s Skill is deals Ice DMG equal to 50% of Jingliu's Max HP to one designated enemy.A lot of Jingliu's DMG comes from her Enhanced Skill. Upgrading this Trace simply increasesits DMG.
- Talent– Upgrading Jingliu's Talent increases her own CRI Rate and ATK buffs. This can help reachthe CRIT Rate requirement for the Rutilant Arena ornament.
- Ultimate– Improving Jingliu's Ultimate simply increases its damage. This should be the second priority after upgrading Jingliu's Skill and Talent.
- Basic Attack–In a perfect setup, Jingliu will almost never use her Basic Attack — only when you completely run out of Skill Points. Her whole kit and team are meant to feed Skill Points into her Skill, so Basic Attack is more of a backup. That’s why it’s okay to leave it at a low level at first. You can level it later if you have extra resources, just to make those rare no-SP turns a bit better. But don’t prioritize it — it adds the least to her overall damage compared to her Skill, Ultimate, and Talent.
Priority:
Skill>Talent>Ultimate>>Basic Attack

Alternatives
Jingliu’s signature weapon has special stats and fits her kit perfectly, so it’s her best choice by far. But if you don’t have it, no worries — using a weapon with CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG can still boost her performance a lot. Here are some good alternatives you can use instead:

Jingliu Relics, Ornaments & Stats
Relic Sets
- Best Choice
|
Scholar Lost in Erudition 2-Pcs Bonus:Increases CRIT Rate by 8%. 4-Pcs Bonus:Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%. |
Since Jingliu's enhancements, her skill mechanics have undergone changes. Her damage multipliers have shifted from an ATK-scaling model to an HP-scaling model, meaning her output now scales more with HP than ATK. Adjustments to her HP consumption mechanism indicate that her damage now relies more heavily on CRIT Rate. Therefore, the Scholar set remains the optimal choice in the current version. The Scholar Lost in Erudition set is a strong BEST choice because it gives Crit Rate and makes your Skill and Ultimate hit harder.
- Alternatives
|
Genius of Brilliant Stars 2-Pcs Bonus:Increases Quantum DMG by 10%. 4-cs Bonus: When the wearer deals DMG to the target enemy, ignores 10% DEF. If the target enemy has Quantum Weakness, the wearer additionally ignores 10% DEF. |
|
Hunter of Glacial Forest 2-pcs Bonus: Increases lce DMG by 10%. 4-pcs Bonus: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, theirCRIT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turn(s). |
These relic set gives her a big damage boost. The DEF ignore helps her hit even harder in single-target fights, so it’s a great fit for Jingliu too.
However, until you have a full set, you can temporarily mix 2-piece sets:
Mix 2-piece Sets (Flex) |
|
|
Hunter of Glacial Forest & Musketeer of Wild Wheat Up 2-pcs: increases lce DMG by 10%. Down 2-pcs: ATK increases by 12%. A mix of Hunter of Glacial Forest andMusketeer of Wild Wheat can be a goodalternative if you're still farming for good relicsub-stats. |
|
This combo gives +10% Ice DMG and +12% ATK, a decent early setup before you farm the 4pc Genius set.
Ornaments
- Best choice
|
Bone Collection's Serene Demesne 2-Pcs Bonus: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12%. When the wearer's Max HP is 5000 or higher, increases the wearer's and their memosprite's CRIT DMG by 28%. |
If you can get Jingliu’s Crit Rate to around 50% or more, this ornament will really boost her sustained damage. You can reach high Crit Rate with good substats, the right Light Cone, and maybe some team buffs.
- Alternative
|
Rutilant Arena 2-Piece Bonus:Increases the wearer's CRlT Rateby 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Ratereaches 70% or higher, the wearer's BasicATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%. |
This boost is reliable and easy to get because reaching 8% CRIT Rate is doable with good boots and some small buffs. It’s a solid option that increases damage without needing tough conditions.
