Enemy Analysis
6th frontier --- upper half: Miasmic – Thracian

Weakness |
Resistances |
This enemy will activate Miasmic Fields at specific moments, instantly releasing a powerful large-area attack while enhancing its skills for the field’s duration.
- Miasmic Field is an Ether-derived hazardous gas/field that enemies can spawn or trigger in combat; while the field is active it both damages/poisons players standing inside and empowers Miasmic enemies (buffing shields, aggression, interrupts and other stats).
Tips: Use Perfect Assists and assist-parries, then burn finishers and ultimates to quickly chip the shield and refill your Energy. When the shield breaks the boss will stagger almost at the same time— commit your full burst and one-clip it.
6th frontier --- lower half: Greta

Weakness |
Resistances |
In battle, Greta swings her demolition saw to charge targets or sweep wide arcs, and its absorption briefly traps any enemies struck. If her legs are damaged she can become Impaired, generating a large amount of Daze in one hit.
Tips: Keep slicing Greta’s legs — repeated leg damage will destroy parts and trigger Impaired/Daze buildup, quickly stacking stagger. Once the legs break and Daze peaks, Greta becomes vulnerable: save your finishers and ultimates for that window, then commit a full burst to one-clip her. Maintain spacing to avoid her saw swipes and use perfect assists to safely time your bursts.
7th frontier --- upper half: Miasma Ravager – Avarus

Weakness |
Resistances |
In combat, Miasma Ravager Avarus uses its massive body to roll into enemies. Land Defensive Assists three times consecutively to interrupt the roll and leave it exposed. After taking a threshold of DMG, it will trigger a Miasmic Field.
Tips: Focus on Dodge Counters / Defensive Assists to punish Avarus’ rolling attacks and chain three successful assists to interrupt and expose it. Conserve ultimates and EX specials for the Miasma Shield window — using Defensive Assists, dodge-counters or rupture agents to shred the shield will trigger Purify damage and a long stagger. Avoid staying inside Miasmic Fields and burst once the shield breaks.
7th frontier --- lower half: Sacrifice - Heretic Jester

Weakness |
Resistances |
Sacrifice - Heretic Jester alternates between aerial and grounded attacks. It performs Flying Blade Frenzy while levitating, launching rapid projectiles, and Blade Frenzy on the ground in a fan-shaped spread. Teleporting Lunge delivers a swift, unblockable dash, while Stab and Smash combines a thrust with a ground slam. Frenzied Swipe and Frenzied Outburst execute multi-hit combos with varying parryable and unblockable strikes, creating a dynamic, unpredictable attack pattern.
Tips: Focus on Defensive Assists to counter its Flying Blade Frenzy and Teleporting Lunge attacks. Interrupting these attacks will expose the Jester's vulnerabilities. After it activates its Miasmic Field, wait for the shield to dissipate before launching a full burst to maximize damage. Maintain distance to avoid its Frenzied Swipe and Blade Frenzy combos. Utilize agents with high Ether damage to exploit its weaknesses. Consistent use of Defensive Assists not only mitigates damage but also reduces its Miasmic Shield, facilitating quicker elimination.

Soukaku |
Team 1 focuses on sustained Ether damage while maintaining survivability. Yixuan delivers consistent offensive pressure, rapidly chipping the boss’s shield, while Astra Yao provides Ether amplification and healing support to keep the team healthy inside the Miasmic Field. Pan Yinhu adds defensive utility and buffs, allowing continuous rotations of attacks and Perfect Assists. Together, their synergy enables safe energy recovery, stagger exploitation, and steady damage throughout the fight.
Team 2 emphasizes burst damage and crowd control to exploit Thracian’s weaknesses. Miyabi rapidly accumulates Frost damage for high-impact strikes, while Yuzuha triggers quick Electric-based combos to interrupt skills and control positioning. Soukaku provides buffs and crowd management, ensuring that attacks hit reliably. Their coordinated timing allows them to break shields efficiently, maximize stagger windows, and chain ultimates for concentrated, high-damage bursts during the boss’s vulnerable phases.

Team 1: Harumasa plants Electro Quivers and X-Marks targets, giving reliable vulnerability windows; Qingyi is a high-daze, heavy-hitter who converts those windows into massive stagger with her multi-hit finishers. Nicole’s EX/ult pulls and Ether fields bunch the boss for full-team follow-ups while reloading and boosting on-field DPS. Together they lock, group, daze and explode Greta’s broken-leg window for one-clip commits.
Team 2: Soldier 0-Anby is the pursuit main DPS — stacking Thunder’s Cry and converting it into huge Azure Flash damage — while her kit also refunds off-field Electric energy to teammates. Trigger supplies Purge/Aftershock procs that add Electric follow-ups and extra daze on hits, and Orphie & Magus grant Zeroed-In ATK buffs and repeatable Aftershock follow-ups. The trio chains off-field buffs, follow-ups and crit windows to melt Greta during the leg-break opening.

Astra Yao |
Team 1: This trio locks Avarus’ roll with reliable defensive tools: Pan Yinhu’s defender kit soaks and creates safe Defensive Assist windows, Ju Fufu’s Hu Wei and EX then pile on continuous pressure and Might stacks, while Yixuan’s Adrenaline-driven EXs and assist follow-ups deliver concentrated burst when the roll is interrupted. Together they chain dodge-counters/assists to break the Miasma Shield and force long staggers for full ult follow-ups.
Team 2: Evelyn primes targets with Burst marks that make allied hits apply heavy Fire follow-ups, Nicole’s EX/ult bunches enemies and shaves DEF for safe rupture and shield shredding, and Astra Yao amplifies squad damage, converts quick assists into chain hits and even heals during her Ult. They punish dodge-counters and Defensive Assists by stacking Burst + DEF shred, then explode the Miasma Shield window with coordinated chain attacks.

Trigger |
Team 1: This trio leans heavily on Defensive Assists and parry windows: Alice and Yuzuha both provide high-daze parries and invulnerable assist follow-ups to safely interrupt the Jester’s aerial dash and unblockable lunges, while Jane converts those defensive interactions into sustained burst by fueling her Passion state and anomaly buildup. Together they chain parries, stack Daze quickly and time a concentrated Ether/physical finish once the Miasmic Shield drops.
Team 2: This lineup is an Electric-first killer: Seed and Soldier 0 are heavy Electric hitters (Seed’s multi-hit mech combos and Soldier’s White Thunder/Aftershock procs), while Trigger amplifies squad crit damage and benefits from Aftershock triggers to lengthen windows for big follow-ups. They exploit the Jester’s Electric weakness, shred the shield with repeated Aftershocks and chain burst damage during the exposed window.
Conclusion
That wraps up the October Shiyu Defence line-up — fast-paced, punishing, but incredibly fun once you’ve got the rhythm down. Whether you’re stacking Daze on Greta or parrying Jester mid-air, coordination is everything. So get your builds in order, time those assists, and flex those clean clears on your feed!
