The elusive and dangerous woman looking like March 7th and is dubbed Dark March by the community-- Evernight, who is a highly anticipated upcoming 5* Ice elemental character following the Path of Remembrance coming to Honkai Star Rail in version update 3.6. In this guide, we will go over the best lightcones, relics and teams for Evernight to allow players to maximize her potential in Honkai Star Rail’s end game contents.

Skill Kit & Skill Priorities

General Introduction

Evernight is a Ice Elemental character who follows the path of Remembrance. Her abilities and skill kit allow her to boost the damage output of other Remembrance characters in the team while allowing her to deal damage proportional to her Max HP by consuming her own HP stat.

Evernight Skill Kit Breakdown

As a sub-DPS and support dedicated to Remembrance Team, Evernight’s kit revolves around summoning her memosprite, Evey, which deals damage based on her Max HP. She also provides strong team support by greatly boosting the 100%+ CRIT DMG of all Memosprite and inflicting 30% Vulnerability to target enemies.

Her main damage source comes from her Talent. Whenever Evernight or Evey loses HP, both gain a large Critical Damage buff and 1 stack of Memoria. At 16 stacks, Evey immediately attacks, dealing damage scaling with its Max HP before disappearing. The higher the stacks, the stronger the attack.

Her Skill consumes 10% HP to summon Evey if it’s absent, or heal it if already on field. For 3 turns, all Memosprites gain +60% CRIT DMG. With her 3rd bonus ability, this bonus can reach up to +125% if 4 Memosprites are present.

Her Ultimate summons Evey instantly, damages all enemies, and activates Darkest Riddle mode. In this state, enemies take more damage from the whole team, while Evernight and Evey’s abilities are greatly amplified.

And Evernight can generate SP when she use Ultimate and Evey use the Enhanced Skill, what's more, her skill doesn't consume SP. This SP generation ability means Evernight is very suitable for Skill-reliant Remembrance characters.

With the above analysis, we should focus on maxing out Evernight’s Skill and Ultimate to Lv.10 as soon as possible to maximize her Skill’s stats and damage from her Ultimate. Also, the Memospite Skill and Talent should reach Lv.6 as soon as possible to maximize Evernight’s damage output.

After that, Upgrade her Talent and unlock all Bonus Abilities especially her 3rd Bonus Ability that boosts the damage of all Memosprites on the field. Do not upgrade her Basic Attack! Unless you have extra resources.

As a sub DPS character that follows the path of Remembrance and one that scales off both Max HP and Critical Stats, Evernight has access to a decent amount of good Lightcones

For Evernight, players should focus on Lightcones that boost her Max HP and Critical Damage rather than Critical Rate as her 1st bonus ability boosts Evernight’s Critical Rate by 35% already.

Evernight’s best Ornament set is Bone Collection's Serene Demesne, which grants Evernight additional Max HP boost and grants her and her memosprite extra critical damage when her Max HP reaches a certain threshold.

For Main Stats and Sub Stats, players should prioritize Max HP and Critical Stats on Evernight to maximize her damage output that scales proportional to her Max HP. Players should prioritize Evernight’s Critical Damage over Critical Rate thanks to her Ability and Traces granting her a large amount of Critical Rate. As long as players can get her Critical Rate to at least around 70% to 80% in battle, players can invest everything to Critical damage.

E2 - Listen Up, the Slumber Speaks Soft

Evernight’s E2 improves Evernight’s and her Evey Memosprite damage rotation by granting Evernight additional Memoria Stacks whenever she gains Memoria and prolongs her Ultimate “Darkest Riddle” state, making her own damage output more consistent.

Rating: Highly Recommended (Improves Evernight’s own damage output and help improve her rotation,70%+ boost for Evernighr main DPS team and 20%+ boost for Castorice team. )

 

E4 - Wake Up, the Tomorrow is Yours

Additionally, this eidolon further improves her damage rotation by refunding 40% of the Memoria stack spent by her Memosprite whenever Evey uses its Skill.
