How to Unlock

Finish A Walk Among the Tombstones

To unlock Try-Not-to-Laugh Challenge, players must complete the A Walk Among the Tombstones Trailblaze Mission.

Unlock Early with Finality's Vision

If you're at Trailblaze Level 21 or higher, it's possible to unlock the event without clearing the pre-requisite mission above! Finality's Vision will temporarily be available during the event period to let you start the event early.

Talk to Kate in Clock Studios Theme Park

To start the Try-Not-to-Laugh Challenge event, head over to the Clock Studios Theme Park at Penacony and talk to Kate. After your conversation, you can start challenging Try-Not-to-Laugh Challenge stages!

Challenge 1 Sparkle's Form-Shifting Mask

When the Surprise Box on the action bar takes action, the Comedian will activate Surprise Gift. The Comedian can charge the Surprise Box to enhance the effect of Surprise Gift.

Event Highlights

• By using all trial characters and full auto, you can achieve an A rating, which grants all Stellar Jades. If you only care about Stellar Jade rewards, full auto is enough.
• To obtain all other rewards, you’ll need an S rating. For this, it’s recommended to manually control the Archer, focusing on continuously attacking elite enemies. When you have 6 or more Skill Points, use Skill spam; if you have fewer than 6, just use normal attacks.
• If you have your own well-built characters, you can replace the trial characters. Using your own lineup often makes the challenge easier.

 

Challenge 2 Qingque's Deep Sea Tiles

When the Surprise Box on the action bar takes action, the Comedian will activate Surprise Gift.

The Comedian can charge the Surprise Box to enhance the effect of Surprise Gift.

Using the trial Tribbie & Gallagher can achieve an S rating, while replacing Tribbie with your own Sunday can reach SS rating.

• By using all trial characters and full auto, you can achieve an A rating, which grants all Stellar Jade rewards. If you only care about Stellar Jades, full auto is enough.
• To get an S rating and claim all other rewards, the key is to manually control Qingque to draw tiles. Usually, winning two rounds at most before throwing tiles at the elite enemy is enough — the main focus is managing Skill Points.
• If you have your own well-built characters, you can replace the trial ones for an easier clear.
• To reach SS rating, it’s best to bring a character who can advance action to support Qingque. In this case, have Qingque throw tiles after winning once, otherwise you’ll run out of Skill Points.

 

Challenge 3 Aventurine's Comeback Chip

When the Surprise Box on the action bar takes action, the Comedian will activate Surprise Gift.

Using the trial Tingyun & Trailblazer can achieve an S rating, while replacing Trailblazer with your own Sunday can reach SS rating.

• To obtain all other rewards, you need an S rating. The key is to have Tingyun and the Trailblazer buff Aventurine, then switch to normal attacks. Aventurine should use Skills whenever possible and unleash her Ultimate as soon as it’s ready, while Qingque can just use normal attacks.
• If you have your own well-built characters, you can replace the trial ones for an easier clear.
