Genshin 5.7 Banners Revealed: New Skirk, Shenhe Rerun

The Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Special Program brings us the latest news! Skirk is finally coming to Genshin Impact 5.7! This long-awaited 5-star is rumored to be a top-tier DPS, and she’s bringing some serious power. Alongside her, new 4-star Dahlia joins the banner—and yes, Mavuika, the leader of Natlan, might finally get her first rerun!

 

V5.7 Release Date

Genshin Impact Version 5.7 will release on June 18, 2025. 

With just over a month to go, Travelers who are excited for Skirk, Dahlia, or planning to pull for Mavuika’s rerun should start getting those Primogems ready!

5.7 Banners: New Character Overview

Skirk: A Mysterious Powerhouse

Skirk is a 5-star Cryo DPS character set to make her official debut in V5.7. She first appeared during the Fontaine Archon Quest—right after the Traveler and Neuvillette took down the All-Devouring Narwhal. 

She made a big entrance, showing off her insane combat skills—and dropping hints about the mysterious “Outlanders from beyond this world.” Talk about mysterious things!

According to current leaks, Skirk’s kit is uniquely designed and heavily tied to Mono Hydro-Cryo teams. If paired with characters outside of Hydro and Cryo, her damage output may drop by around 30%. To unlock her full potential, smart team-building will be absolutely essential.

• Elemental Skill: Skirk gains 40 Serpent’s Cunning and enters “Sevenfold Flash” mode. In this state, Skirk’s Normal Attacks are enhanced. Serpent’s Cunning gradually decays over time; when it drops to 0, Skirk exits Sevenfold Flash mode.

• Elemental Burst: Skirk’s Burst doesn’t consume Energy, but instead uses Serpent’s Cunning.The more Cunning consumed, the greater the Burst’s damage.

• Passive Talent: When teammates trigger Hydro or Cryo damage, Skirk gains bonus damage, creating a “Cryo-Hydro resonance” loop that powers up the whole team.

• Best Team Comps:

  • High Burst DMG Team: Skirk + Escoffier+ Furina + Yelan /Shenhe

  • Max Single-Target DMG Team: Skirk + Bennett + Xiangling + Kazuha/Shenhe (Melt Team)

Dahlia: The Dutiful Deacon of the Church of Favonius

Dahlia is a 4-star Hydro character set to debut in Version 5.7.

According to leaked design drawings, Dahlia has a blue Vision on her back, indicating that he will be a Hydro character. Additionally, the file naming suggests that she will be a Catalyst user. Dahlia is likely to become the second 4-star Hydro Catalyst character, following Barbara.

Funny thing is, this isn’t actually the first time we’ve “met” him—he’s been mentioned before, just not in person. Back during the Travelers' Tales: Anthology Chapter Event, Rosaria brought up his name in one of the dialogues. And if you’re a fan of character birthday messages, you might remember that Rosaria also mentioned Dahlia in her letter from January 24 this year.

Mavuika

Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, is a 5-star Pyro and Claymore character who will make her first rerun in the Genshin Impact 5.7 banners. As the god of the Natlan nation, her rerun has sparked a lot of anticipation among players!

Mavuika is a versatile Pyro DMG dealer who can flexibly switch between dealing DMG on or off the battlefield. Mavuika's Elemental Skill allows her to ride the Flamestriderand deal Pyro DMG while on the field, as well as deal Pyro DMG to nearby enemies periodically when off the field. With her Elemental Burst, she deals powerful AOE Pyro DMG to enemies and increases the Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG dealt by her Flamestrider for a period of time.

Shenhe

Shenhe is a mortal disciple of the adepti with a Cryo Vision, hailing from Liyue. She wields a polearm and is a 5-star Cryo support character.

As a dedicated Cryo support, Shenhe's core damage-boosting mechanics stem from her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst:

• Elemental Skill : Directly increases the party's Cryo DMG multiplier (based on Shenhe's own ATK) through the "Icy Feathers" effect.

• Elemental Burst : Continuously reduces enemy Cryo & Physical RES while boosting active characters' Cryo DMG Bonus.

Synergy with Skirk:
Shenhe's Icy Feathers and RES shred amplify the effectiveness of every Cryo damage instance from Skirk's multi-hit Cryo abilities, making them an ideal pairing for maximizing DPS windows.

 

Emilie

Emilie is a playable Pneuma-aligned Dendro character in Genshin Impact. She is a renowned perfume designer in Fontaine. According to Calcagni, Emilie is self-employed, and the fashionable ladies of Fontaine highly seek out her products.She also works closely with detective forces and law enforcement as a "forensic cleanser" in the background, which allows her to give additional information that most people might miss at the cost of forcing her to become more familiar with death than she would like.
