Genshin 6.0 Banner: New Character Lauma, Flins, Aino

Good day, Travelers! Genshin 6.0 is on the horizon and the banner looking absolutely stakced! Flins, Lauma and Aino will join in, Yelan and Nahida will rerun in this new banner.

In this blog, I'll go through details about the 6.0 banner. Let's dive into NOW!

6.0 Version Realease Date

If the game avoids any delays over the course of 2025, then it’s possible to predict that Version 6.0 will be released on September 10.

Patches for the game are usually released on Wednesdays every six weeks and, considering the title has been on a steady release pace, it seems unlikely this schedule will be affected any time soon.

Phase 1: Lauma

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Dendro | Weapon: Catalyst

A 5★Dendro character from Nod-Krai, titled the Frostmoon Scion: Faerie Priestess, is the best off-field support for Lunar-Bloom reaction. Lauma's kit revolves around Dendro application and Lunar-Bloom amplifying.

She appplys AoE Dendro with her Frosgrove Sanctuary. Her Talent can converts all Bloom to Lunar-Bloom. Lunar Bloom can crit at a 15% CRIT Rate, 100% CRIT DMG and drop Dewdrops, a resource that fuels her Skill / Burst rotation.

Lauma’s Lunar Bloom damage is entirely Elemental Mastery-scaling, so we need to build Lauma's EM to the maximum. The higher her EM, the harder every Lunar Bloom pops.

Phase 1: Aino (FREE!)

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Hydro | Weapon: Claymore

Aino is a versatile Hydro support belongs to Nod-Krai, excelling in Lunar reation team. The new Lunar reaction is a Hydro-based reaction and require a Nod-Krai unit in the party. And Aino's kit specializing in off-field Hydro application and team wide buffs based on the party's Moonsign.

So simply including Aino enables all other characters to trigger corresponding Lunar reactions. Early analysis suggests Aino will be a must-build character for Nod-Krai's debut meta, essentially functioning as the "Columbia" in the teams.

Phase 2: Flins

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Electro | Weapon: Polearm

As new 5★ Electro character from Nod-Krai, Flins serves as an Electro DPS. And Flins's kit revolves around his unique Manifest Flame mechanic and Lunar-Charged reaction.

As a Lunar-charged hypercarry, Phyllis excels in quick Skill to Enhanced Burst rotations. His damage potential heavily relies on proper Moonsign stack management.

While offering impressive burst potential, players should note his inherent limitations: inconsistent Electro application and required setup time for optimal performance. It is best to pair him with the dedicated Lunar-Charged reaction Support Ineffa.

Rerun Character

Yelan

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Hydro | Weapon: Bow

Yelan is a universal off-field Hydro enabler who doubles as a team-wide damage amplifier. Her kit revolves around a 15-second Burst that fires coordinated Hydro hits every second, fueling Vaporize, Bloom, Hyperbloom or Hu Tao / Yoimiya teams with unmatched single-target hydro application.

Max-HP scaling on Skill and Burst means she hits hard even with minimal investment, while her A4 passive grants the active character a ramping 50 % DMG bonus by the Burst’s end. Yelan build is very straightfoward, just stack HP/ ER / CRIT,and slot her into any teams that need fast Hydro and free damage.

Nahida

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Dendro | Weapon: Catalyst

Nahida, the Dendro Archon, is also scheduled for a rerun in Version 6.0. As the core enabler of Dendro reaction teams and teamwide Elemental Mastery buffer, her passive talent grants CRIT Rate and Dendro DMG bonuses based on the party's highest EM. Highly recommended! Especially pair her with the NEW support Lauma.

For optimal performance, consider Build Nahida to C2S1. Her C2 is buffed in 6.0 version, it now gives Lunar-Bloom 10% CRIT Rate and 20% CRIT DMG which can be stacked with Lauma's passives. And equipping her signature weapon massively boosts EM and teamwide buffs.

 

Chronicled Wish: Sumeru's Path

Additionally, Version 6.1 will introduce the "Chronicled Wish: Sumeru's Path" (community-known as "Sumeru Mixed Banner"). This special wish pool will:

• Feature a curated lineup of Sumeru 5★ characters alongside legacy Mondstadt/Liyue units (e.g. Cyno, Klee, Albedo)
• Retain your existing pity counter from previous limited banners
• Implement a "Path Point Inheritance" system — if you fail to obtain the chosen character, progress carries over to future chronicled wishes.

This is a strategic opportunity to secure elusive characters or constellations!

NEW Artifact Sets

The 6.0 version added two new artifact sets for Flins and Lauma.

Night of the Sky's Unveiling

It is Flins's signature artifact sets.

2 pieces of it can increase 80 EM. 4 pieces of if can increase the CRIT Rate by 15% / 20% and Moonglare reaction's DMG by 10%.

 

Silken Moon's Serenade

It is Lauma's signature Artifac sets.

2 pieces of it can boost 20% ER. 4 pieces of it can increase all allies' EM by 60 / 120 and Moonglare reaction's DMG by 10%. And more importantly, this effect can be triggered while the equipper is off-field.
