NTE Version 1.3 Overview

Version 1.3 returns to the main timeline shortly after the Appraiser escapes the Corridor of Echoes.

Although things have appeared relatively quiet around Eibon, the Bureau, and The Scarlet Letter, the organization has already obtained Anomalies tied to the Past, Present, and Future. The new story sends the Appraiser into Fogden, where the final confrontation with Madam T and The Scarlet Letter begins.

Players will need to complete the Main Story episode “Fighting with a Dragon” before starting the new Fogden storyline.

New Main Story: The Fogden Game

Version 1.3 brings the Scarlet Letter storyline back into focus.

The Appraiser will enter Fogden, described during the program as The Scarlet Letter's hunting ground. Once inside, everyone has to play according to the rules of the mysterious “Game,” with waves of enemies and plenty of unanswered questions waiting ahead.

The story also brings back a large cast of familiar faces. Daffodill, Hotori, Adler, and Thyme all have roles to play, while the Bureau sends Chaos, Linko, and Nitsa of ETD-6 into the operation.

New Area: Duskmoor

One of Version 1.3's biggest open-world additions is Duskmoor, a brand-new district in northwest Hethereau.

The area has been under construction since the Appraiser first arrived in the city, and Version 1.3 finally opens it to players.

Duskmoor is built heavily around cars and racing. The district is enormous, with a complete lap around its highway loop taking more than 10 minutes.

Players can also collect every Oracle Stone in Duskmoor without leaving the driver's seat, making exploration much more vehicle-friendly.

New Racing Challenges will take players across villages, fields, mountain roads, highways, and rally circuits, with road surfaces, elevation changes, and consecutive corners testing driving skills.

For players who enjoy NTE's vehicle gameplay, Duskmoor could easily become one of Version 1.3's standout additions.

NTE 1.3 NEW Skin

Version 1.3 also brings summer to Hethereau with a new beach area and several seasonal activities.

The Special Program revealed summer outfits for:

Beach Volleyball

Beach Volleyball is one of the biggest new activities in Version 1.3, and it will remain permanently available as part of Hethereau Hobbies after the update launches.

Matches use a 2v2 format. Players control one character directly while an AI teammate covers the other side of the court.

In the Rookie Series, defeating opponents unlocks progressively harder matches. The first team to reach seven points with at least a two-point lead wins.

Each character also has six individual Volleyball stats:

Characters gain EXP by playing matches and improve their stats as they level. Because every character begins with a different stat distribution, each one maintains distinct strengths and weaknesses even at higher levels.

Players can further improve specific stats with Talent Bread, which can push a character beyond their normal growth cap.

Weekly Match

The Weekly Match is a PvE tournament within the Volleyball system.

Players choose a teammate, advance through the group stage and knockout rounds, and attempt to win the championship.

A complete run contains five matches, and one defeat ends that week's run immediately.

Final placement determines the Fons payout and weekly ranking, while winning the championship also awards Talent Bread.

Weekly Match results contribute to Hethereau's citywide Volleyball rankings.

Jet Ski Salvage

Another new summer activity sends players onto the water using Jet Skis.

Mysterious floating cargo appears across certain areas of the sea, and players can use a harpoon to pull it aboard.

There is one important limitation: fuel.

Only cargo returned to shore before the Jet Ski runs out of fuel is converted into points, so players need to balance exploration with the return trip.

NTE New Vehicle:

The Tide

Version 1.3 introduces NTE's first water vehicle, The Tide.

The Tide will be available through a Mystery Box set after the update.

Players can spend Fons or Annulith to open Mystery Boxes, with the cost increasing after every box opened. There are 15 boxes in total, and opening all of them guarantees every reward in the pool.

The set also contains summer outfits for the male and female Appraiser, Mint, and Nanally.

A dune buggy is also on the way and will be purchasable directly with Fons.

New Tandem Bicycle: Yesteryear

The second half of Version 1.3 introduces another new vehicle: Yesteryear, a bicycle built for two.

It launches alongside the Bike Ride-Along event.

Stillmeadow House and Farming

Version 1.3 also expands NTE's property system with Stillmeadow House, a detached home located in Miguel District.

The house includes its own yard and a plot of farmland.

After purchasing the property, players can plant seeds, wait for crops to mature, and harvest them. Crops grown at Stillmeadow House can also be sold for Fons by spending City Stamina.

New Permanent Mode: Building Hethereau

Version 1.3 also adds Building Hethereau to Hethereau Hobbies.

New construction jobs are posted every day, with difficulty changing depending on the scale of the site.

Jobs can include loading and transporting materials, leveling ground, digging foundations, and completing multiple tasks across larger sites.

New Limited-Time Combat Event: Runaway Echoes

Combat players also get a new limited-time event called Runaway Echoes.

Players select one character and enter an Anomalous Realm filled with waves of monsters.

Standard skills activate automatically, leaving players to focus on movement, positioning, dodging, and collecting EXP orbs.

New Dragon Keep Challenge

Version 1.3 also brings new combat content to the Warren Continent.

Dragon Keep receives a floor-based monster challenge divided into Standard and Infinite modes.

Standard Mode contains 99 floors. Players must defeat every enemy on one floor before advancing to the next.

Infinite Mode removes the floor cap entirely, allowing players to continue climbing for as long as they can survive.
