How NTE Banners Work (Quick Primer)

NTE's gacha system is called the Scarborough Fair — instead of tapping a button, you roll dice and move across a board, collecting rewards from the tiles you land on. There are three main board types:

NTE 1.2 Banner

Phase1 Shinku

Shinku is an S-Class Cosmos character with Condensate Arc. She's the first limited banner character in v1.2, and fifth banner character in total.

She's a martial artist main DPS who focuses on hand-to-hand combat in two forms. In her normal form she builds "Defiant Spirit Gauge" with normal and charged attacks. She then enters Rampage form by using her Ultimate, consuming her gauge to unleash more powerful AoE attacks and builds "Fading Reason Gauge".

Phase 2 Iroi

Iroi is the limited S-rank Anima-attribute premium hybrid support in Version 1.2, and also the game's first limited dedicated healer. Her core role combines team-wide sustain, massive damage buffs, and functional crowd control. She perfectly fits Shinku's Cosmos-attribute burst team and is irreplaceable in high-difficulty Abyss content, early-game progression, and exploration alike.

 

Future Banner

1.3 Phase1 Zankou

Zankou’s core identity is built around secrecy, illusion, phantom-like presence, and nightmare imagery. She does not come across as a simple friendly companion. Instead, her presentation suggests a dangerous, mysterious, possibly antagonist-coded character. Her name evokes the image of a fading or broken rainbow, giving her a beautiful yet ominous atmosphere.
