During the Version Update 3.0 - A Long Long Way for Reverse: 1999, players will be able to have the chance to roll on several different rate up banners, featuring 2 brand new 6* character Sentinel and Charon in addition to several returning characters.

Brand New Character Rate Up Banner - Sentinel (October 30th - November 20th)

The first rate up banner players can roll on is the rate up banner for the brand new 6* character introduced in version update 3.0 - Sentinel.

Sentinel is a 6* character of the Mineral Afflatus that fills the 2nd DPS and support role in a Bloodtithe team thanks to her amazing HP-based damage skill kit that can both reduce her own HP to raise the team’s Bloodtithe in addition to recovering her HP after attacking. Sentinel’s abilities allow her to constantly generate bullets and auto attack until her bullets are out, making her a very SP positive unit in addition to being an amazing Bloodtithe generator for the Bloodtithe team.

She works wonders in the Bloodtithe team alongside characters like Nautika, Semmelweis and either Fatutu or the upcoming Rubuska, granting the team special Crit Damage increase when their Critical Chance exceed 100%, special attack damage up and various beneficial buffs to the entire team, allowing the Bloodtithe team to do even more damage and become the best team in the game for the duration of the update patch and beyond.

Recommendation: Pull Without Hesitation. Not only is Sentinel an amazing character all on her own thanks to her high damage potential and her skill kit that takes advantage of both Bullet and Bloodtithe mechanics, when in a proper Bloodtithe team, she can be an amazing Sub DPS and support character for the team thanks to her ability to constantly generate Bloodtithe and her various beneficial buff to the team, making her a prime character to roll for if you want to elevate your Bloodtithe team in end game contents.

Brand New Character Rate Up Banner - Charon (November 20th - December 11th)

The other brand new 6* character being introduced in Reverse: 1999 update patch, Charon rate up banner will be available right after Sentinel’s.

Charon is a 6* Character of the Spirit Afflatus that is the brand new support character for the Dynamo team, with his ability to reduce the amount of Dynamo stacks needed to be converted into energy in order to fuel the Electric Array. Thanks to this ability and his ability to grant the entire team with various beneficial buffs and debuff the enemies with powerful debuffs, Charon is one of the essential teammates that players should get if they want to play the Dynamo team alongside characters like Lucy and Ulrich.

Recommendation: Pull Without Hesitation. If you intend to start playing the Dynamo team with Ulrich that you can obtain for free during Version Update 2.8, getting Charon is absolutely vital as Charon helps to maximize the damage output of the Dynamo team while cutting down the setup time for the team massively. He not only empowers AoE-focused lineups with Lucy and Ulrich, but also supports upcoming single-target electric units like Corvus and Brume. A very valuable long-term pick.

6* Rate Up Selector Banner - Ripples On The Water (October 30th - November 27th)

Alongside the rate up banner for Sentinel, another special banner will be available at roughly the same time: the Ripples On The Water 6* Character Selector Banner. On this banner, players will be able to select 1 among the 6 different 6* characters to be the rated up character: Getian, Centurion, Druvis III, Semmelweis, Ezra, Medicine Pocket.

Importantly, the first 6* character players obtained from this banner will be guaranteed to be the character they selected as the rate up character. However, in exchange for this, the pity of this banner will not carry over to other banners.

Getian is a character that is mainly used in Ultimate centric teams where you focus on spamming as much Ultimate as possible in a short period of time, making him a very decent character to have in Assassin Creed Ultimate spam team or the usual Moxie Ultimate Spam team. His skill kit allows him to set up a special Array that grants himself and the team Moxie when the array exists, allowing him to constantly generate Moxie for the team and help to boost the team’s Ultimate Might.

Centurion is a Main DPS that focuses on spamming her Ultimate as much as possible against as many enemies as possible. With the addition of her brand new Euphoria buff, she gained additional Ultimate Might increase and several different Ultimate team synergy which further improves her own damage while also providing the Ultimate Damage team some buffs.

Druvis III is a support debuffer character that revolves around inflicting the enemies with her special Petrify debuff in order to hinder their ability to do damage while boosting the team’s own damage output. Her Cycle of Life buff also allow to boost the damage of other Plant allies in the team. With her new Euphoria buff, she further increases the damage of Plant Allies in the team with her Cycle of Life buff.

Semmelweis is the best sub-DPS support for the Bloodtithe team (Nautika core). Her kit consistently generates Bloodtithe, grants allies buffs that drain HP each turn, and unleashes teamwide nukes via her Ultimate. When active, her Ultimate forms an Array (Field effect) that scales in damage based on allies’ missing HP, draining their health at the end of each turn to trigger massive AoE damage. She also pairs exceptionally well with Sentinel, forming the backbone of a top-tier Bloodtithe comp.

Ezra is a Support Sustain character with the ability to constantly generate special mushrooms to heal allies and grant special buffs to allies. With his Euphoria buffs, he can choose to be a Dynamo sustain character or a Bloodtithe Support character. However, the majority of the time, players will choose for him to be the sustain option for the Dynamo team thanks to his mushrooms being able to constantly convert Dynamo stacks for the Electric Array, allowing him to buff the Electric Array to the maximum level as quickly as possible.

Medicine Pocket is a support sustain character that is the game’s most generically good sustain option for almost every team. Their abilities allow them to consume a set amount of HP from all allies to generate a shield for all allies, while their Ultimate helps them recover all allies HP and grant the team several strong buffs, making them generically good for all teams in the game.

Recommendation: Pull If You Need to Fill a Specific Role.

Among the 6 6 characters on rate up, the ones with the most benefits that players will find are Semmelweis for the Bloodtithe team as she is one of the essential characters for the team if you want to run the team, Ezra can serve as a sustain option for Dynamo teams, yet is not irreplaceable, characters like Kiperina also offer a reliable team. Medicine Pocket as a generic sustain option for all the teams in the game if you are lacking a sustain.

For the other 3 6* characters, their strength fluctuates greatly and doesn’t offer much in terms of team building unless you have the other pieces for the team you want to build first. So if you already have the other 3 6* characters, you shouldn’t roll on this banner.

6* Rerun Banner - Recoleta & Fatutu

The last major banner that players should focus on during Reverse: 1999 Version update 3.0 is the rerun banner featuring 2 6* characters - Recoleta and Fatutu. During this banner, both characters will have a 70% chance to appear as the 6* character when you obtain a 6* on the banner and the first 3 multies of the banner will be discounted from 10 pulls per multi to 8 pulls per multi.

Recoleta is more than just a support. She’s also a powerful Ultimate-core carry in her own right. Her kit enables constant Ultimate loops by granting the team Moxie on Ultimate use, while also recharging her own to keep firing. With proper cycling, she can both enable and lead Ultimate teams, dishing out high damage alongside her buffs.

Fatutu is a 6* character that is a support sustain character, with her ability to heal the entire team and cleanse debuffs, as well as buffing the team’s Extra Action damage. Her buff also allows her to convert her special Shell buff into debuffs on the enemies that increase the amount of Extra Attack damage they take.

Recommendation: Pull If You Need to Fill a Specific Role. While Recoleta is an amazing support and main/sub DPS character for the Ultimate Might team, the Ultimate spamming team is only relatively good in the current game meta (damage inflation), so you should consider before rolling for Recoleta. As for Fatutu, while she is one of the game’s best Sustain, there are other opportunities for players to roll for her in the future and not having to share the same rate up banner as Recoleta, so players should consider this before rolling on the banner.

Conclusion

When the suitcase shuts, the tide keeps moving. Reverse: 1999 Version Update 3.0  brings Sentinel, Charon, and the Ripples selector—enough paths for every roster. Choose the banner that serves your team today and the one you’re building for tomorrow. Still short on Unilogs? Top up Clear Drops on LDShop — fast, secure, and quietly dependable.
