Detailed Analysis
EX rank: System Cores, Meta Defining
Altria Caster (Caster)
The absolute core of the Arts system. Possesses the strongest defensive mechanic in the game — Special Invincibility that blocks even Invincibility Pierce. Provides party 30% Arts up + 30% ATK + 30% NP Gain up for 3 turns. NP gives party Special Invincibility + ATK up + debuff cleanse + NP charge. Enables both singleācore and multiācore 90++ farming. The only downside: you will keep using her even after bond 15 because there is no replacement.

Koyanskaya of Light (Assassin)
Core of the Buster system. Unique skill reduces skill cooldowns by 2 turns, allowing a damage dealer to fire their key skills twice in one turn. Provides 50% singleātarget charge + 50% Buster up + 100% critical damage. Her own NP is offensive, contributing in multiācore setups. Buster critical damage can reach 70% from passives alone, leading to absurd numbers. The downside: limited support for nonāBuster systems.

Oberon (Pretender)
The nuclear bomb enabler, a universal multiācore plug. Third skill gives 70% singleātarget charge + NP damage multiplier (doubles existing NP damage buffs). First skill gives party 20% charge + 30% NP damage up. His NP inflicts partyāwide sleep + defence down, offering crowd control. The demerit: sleep makes the target skip their next turn. Low NP levels work as a plug, high NP levels can serve as a secondary damage dealer.

Lord Logres (Saber)
New Year 2026 Saber, widely considered the strongest AoE Buster damage dealer in the game. Skill 1: 50% NP charge per turn for 5 turns — absurd. Skill 2: party 20% ATK + 30% crit damage + 50 stars — instant full crit. Skill 3: party cooldown reduction by 2 turns + self 50% Buster up + 2 stacks of Special Invincibility. NP: party 20% ATK + 20% NP charge + 1 overcharge stage + 2000 HP heal, plus superāeffective against Threat to Humanity. Passive: 10 stars and 10% NP per turn. Excels in singleācore, multiācore, CQs, and crit setups. The only cost is that using skill 3 puts her into an uncleansable sleep after 3 turns, but battles rarely last that long.

UāOlga Marie (UnBeast)
Class UnBeast, one of the most unique SSRs, firmly in the EX tier. Has two forms: Ascension 1/2 (offensive) and Ascension 3 (supportive), with two separate skill sets on the same spirit graph. Skill 1 (Shared): self cooldown reduction by 2 turns + 30% NP damage + 50 stars + enemy NP seal + command card reshuffle. This is her core rotation engine. Skill 2 (Offensive): 100ā300% self charge + 1 OC stage. Skill 2 (Supportive): 10ā20% self charge + party 20ā30% charge. Skill 3 (Offensive): consumes 100% NP to grant party 20ā30% Buster up + 50ā100% Extra card performance + 20ā30% crit damage + 30ā50% NP gain up + Invincibility Pierce. Skill 3 (Supportive): party 20% ATK + 20% crit damage + 30ā50 stars + NP seal. NP: 20% colour resistance down + heavy damage vs. Man attribute, plus partyāwide buffs. Her greatest strength: skill 1’s CDā2 plus skill 2’s massive selfācharge allows Black Grail 3āturn looping without any starting charge CE. Alongside Ciel, she is one of only two servants who can fix all command cards to herself; combined with 50 stars, she guarantees full crits on the same turn. A ceilingālevel servant. Summon priority is second only to Altria Caster and Koyanskaya of Light.

Solomon (Pretender)
Reward NP5 SSR, completely breaking the FGO power curve. Every player can obtain him at NP5 for free, drastically lowering the barrier to topātier damage dealers. His party battery works seamlessly with Koyanskaya of Light for stable looping, and his superāeffective coverage is extremely broad. As a Grand Caster, his class affinity is excellent, ignoring most class disadvantages.

EX- rank: TopāTier Damage Dealers
Sakata Kintoki (Berserker)
The most straightforward nuke: 50% self charge + high Buster up + upgraded NP. No gimmicks, no conditional traits — just pure, overwhelming burst damage. The downside is his lack of survivability or utility. Nevertheless, he remains one of the best solutions for singleātarget 90++ nodes.
Morgan (Berserker)
Special attack against Man attribute, covering a huge portion of enemies. 50% self charge + party 20% charge, excellent for multiācore teams. Her NP grants 1 OC stage to the party, which synergises well with servants that have OCābased special attacks. Weakness: 2 Buster cards reduce crit consistency, and damage heavily depends on NP level. Compared to Arjuna Alter, Morgan is more flexible in multiācore, while Arjuna Alter has higher singleācore burst.
IbukiāDouji (Berserker) (Summer Ibuki)
Pure power. Arts Berserker with outstanding NP refund and damage. 50% self charge + Arts up + NP damage up — simple but extremely effective. Her NP provides defence down and self ATK up. With Altria Caster, she can loop effortlessly. One of the best generalāpurpose Arts farmers; at high NP levels, she clears almost any 90++ node.

ScáthachāSkadi (Ruler)
The “super CBA”, but unfortunately she has not revolutionised Quick teams like Altria Caster did for Arts or Koyanskaya of Light for Buster. Provides 50% Quick up + crit damage + charge, but star absorb is tied to the battery skill, which feels clunky. As a damage dealer, her special attack is rare and her white damage is low, making high NP levels inefficient. Essential for Quick players, but do not expect her to change the game the way Castoria did.

A+ rank: Best in Their Roles, Worth High Investment
Gilgamesh (Archer)
Aged like fine wine after multiple strengthening quests. Superāeffective against Servants, dealing massive damage with Enuma Elish. Skill 1: 30% ATK + 20% NP damage (5T). Skill 2: 20% ATK (5T). Combined, his selfābuff is impressive. 50% self charge + upgraded NP. The downside: he cannot use the new Black Grail system (30% charge), and his superāeffective only works on Servant enemies.

Tam Lin Lancelot (Lancer)
130% self charge with dual NP (singleātarget / AoE). Excels in 1āXX nodes. Human form deals high singleātarget damage; dragon form becomes an AoE. Skills include 50% charge + Buster up + invincibility. Weakness: the singleātarget form has fewer selfābuffs, and you must plan skill usage around transformation. Still, as an anniversary servant, her power is well justified.

Taigong Wang (Rider)
30% self charge + 20% party charge. Superāeffective vs. Divine + Demonic. Traditional looping requires NP2+, but his main use now is multiācore farming. Provides party Quick up + NP damage up, working well with RBA. His damage ceiling is lower, so higher NP levels are needed for 90++.
Aesc the Savior (Caster)
50% self charge + 10% party battery per turn (3T) + 50% party charge (once). Her core is skill 3. Not an outstanding damage dealer herself; she shines in multiācore teams. Her biggest loss came with the 9th anniversary’s append 5 skill, which reduced her relative advantage. Still, she works well with Koyanskaya of Dark.

Tezcatlipoca (Assassin)
30% party charge with no starting NP requirement. Superāeffective vs. Divine + Super Large. NP provides preādamage NP damage up and postādamage 10% party charge. NP2 is enough for multiācore, NP3 for traditional singleācore looping. Double Tezcatlipoca allows you to use a lowāNP copy and borrow a highāNP friend. The downside is his complex skill set, which requires practice.

A rank: Strong and Versatile
Nero Claudius (Bride) (Saber)
Now mostly used as a support or a levelā1 plug. Her first skill has the highest NP gain buff in the game, but there are many dedicated NP chargers nowadays. After three strengthenings, she is still decent as a damage dealer. Her third skill provides 30% charge + ATK up + NP gain up, making her a solid auxiliary support.

Merlin (Caster)
Mostly used as a CQ plug or in stall teams. After Lady Avalon’s release, even stall teams prefer her. The 9th anniversary gave him a significant upgrade, but the meta has moved on. Waiting for another chance to shine.

Kukulkan (Foreigner)
Currently in an awkward spot. She requires “playing the piano” (careful skill order) to reach her damage ceiling. For a long time, she had no favourable farming nodes (needing 6āslot with event CE). Lacks the “Existence Outside the Domain” passive, which would boost her greatly. If you lack strong Buster servants, she is a decent choice.

Lady Avalon(Pretender) (Proto Merlin)
New member of Arts stall teams. Her NP increases max HP, effectively healing. In farming, she serves as a conditional replacement when Altria Caster is overworked. Her second skill’s OC boost can be used in certain multiācore teams (e.g., with Aesc). No direct battery — needs rampāup time.
B+ rank: Awaiting Buffs or for True Fans
Medusa (Saber)
Low damage. High survivability, decent in solos and CQs. 30% charge + evade + star absorb. NP provides sure hit + defence down. No special attack , pure raw numbers.

BB (MoonCancer) (Summer BB)
Formerly a card lock toy. With the abundance of modern supports, she is now used more as a damage dealer. Her selfācharge is on a 7āturn cooldown, making team building inflexible. Better to pair her with Van Gogh for crit shenanigans.

Rasputin (Alter Ego)
Farming ability cannot compete with top Buster servants; his damage as a 4āstar is also outclassed by the welfare Taigong Wang. 30% charge + Buster up + crit damage. NP provides defence down. No special attack, low numbers.

B rank:Niche or Hopeless
Takasugi Shinsaku (Archer)
Seems to give crit damage to others, but being an Archer gives him high star weight, stealing stars. In an era of insane Arts/Buster Archers, this Quick “primitive” servant is disappointing. 30% charge + Quick up + crit damage. NP provides defence down.

Iskandar (Rider)
9th anniversary gave him a 30% charge, improving his multiācore potential. Provides party ATK + NP damage + charge. No special attack, low damage ceiling.

Special — Highly Niche / Gimmick
Sima Yi (Rider)
50% charge, but her offensive buffs are weak. A defensive support, but being a Rider causes star absorption issues in crit teams. In normal farming, she is only used to reduce wear on top supports.
Miss Crane (Caster)
Almost always requires her NP to function, meaning you need to generate stars for her. Her second skill’s selfācharge comes with a taunt on an ally, which can ruin survival or plug strategies. Her 100% charge requirement is costly. Requires very precise planning and deep knowledge of team building (poor synergy with Chen Gong).

Jeanne d'Arc (Ruler)
Pure support. No selfābattery, so she needs Prisma Cosmos. Without both Merlins, she can still join Castoria stall teams; with nothing, she can form a budget stall with Asclepius or Xu Fu.

2026 is undoubtedly a year of dramatic power shifts in FGO. While foundational supports like Altria Caster, Koyanskaya of Light, and Oberon continue to rule their systems, the arrival of UāOlga Marie and Lord Logres has raised the damage ceiling for both farming and challenge quests to new heights.
To secure these topātier servants, a healthy stock of Saint Quartz is essential. LDShop can provide secure, convenient top-up with discounts, which can help you to get your favorite servant.
