What’s up, Commanders!
Welcome back to another explosive deep dive into the chaos we call Top War: Battle Game. If you’ve been grinding bases, raiding fleets, and scratching your head over which SSR heroes are actually worth those precious golden shards—you have come to the right place.
We are looking at the best of the best. Whether you are running Air Force snipers, Navy bullies, or Army juggernauts, this tier list is your new battle bible. Let’s lock and load.
Understanding the Ranking System (S to D)

Before we throw names at you, let’s talk about how we rank these units. Unlike those outdated lists floating around the forums, this ranking considers Level 5 skills, actual meta performance (tested against real PvP lineups), and whether a hero is a limited-time collab headache or a friendly F2P grind.
- S-Tier (Best/Meta-Defining): If you don't have these heroes, you are losing. Simple as that. They define the current Top War meta.
- A-Tier (Solid/Competitive): Great heroes. They will serve you well, but you’ll eventually replace them when you chase the S-Train.
- B-Tier (Situational/Transitional): Use them if you have nothing better. They are placeholders.
- C/D-Tier (Avoid): Do not invest resources here. Most of these are R or SR rarity or ancient relics of a forgotten meta.
Air Force Tier List – The Snipers of the Sky ✈️

The Air Force meta is all about ignition setups and stacking those indestructible buffs. Right now, the sky belongs to the new guard.

Serval |
Brady |
- Maximo: The golden standard. This premium hero enhances Air Force units so hard he can flip a losing battle on its head. Worth every gem .
- Storm Shadow: The indestructible buff king for planes. He is a non-negotiable part of the current Air Force meta.
- Abad: The support you need. He takes the Air Force from "strong" to "oppressive."
- Serval: Broken. Pair her with other top tiers to stack stats and watch the enemy rage quit .
- Brady: The F2P hero that actually made it. While older, his Level 5 performance is slightly better than Tigress. No collab baggage means you can actually max him.
The "Avoid" & Collab Trap
- Lynn & Kron: Don’t fall for the trap (yet). Unless a "Kai 2.0" drops to save them, their ignition setups can't touch the Storm Shadow meta.
- Tiger & Gypsy (Air variants): Solid, but they are collaboration heroes. If you didn't get them during the event, you never will. New players, ignore them.
Navy Tier List – The New Meta Kings
Ahoy, whales! The Navy meta has been flipped upside down recently. We are officially in the Jester/Meila/Lilia era. If you are still clinging to old Navy heroes, you are sinking.

S-Tier Breakdown (Navy)

|
|
|
Jester |
Lilia |
Kotiya |
- Jester: The ultimate Offense Buff hero for Navy right now. She is the reason Stro got benched .
- Meila + Lilia: The dynamic duo. These two together create the indestructible buff core that defines the current Navy meta. If you run Navy without them, you are trolling.
- Kotiya: Requires investment, but she skyrockets your Navy units into orbit .
The "Solid" & Transitional Heroes
- Zen & Crimson: Amazing kits. Huge problem: They are collaboration units (likely gone forever). If you have them, use them. If you don't, don't cry over spilled milk.
- Stro: She used to be queen. Now? She is the budget Jester. Use her *only* until you get the real deal.
Army (Tank) Tier List – The Brawlers 🚁
The Tank meta is interesting right now. It revolves around Quilly. Seriously. Almost every top-tier tank comp runs Quilly, Binary, and Marvy. If you aren't running Quilly, you are losing to those who are.

|
Quilly |
Binary |
Nelle |
- Quilly: The engine. His magnetic pulses are the core of the tank meta. He enables everyone else.
- Binary + Marvy: This is the power couple. According to recent battle tests (shoutout to the theorycrafters on the leaderboards), Quilly + Marvy + Binary hits a 71.6% March Performance. That is the highest on the charts right now.
- Nelle: The offense buffer you need for tanks. She makes the numbers go brrr.
The Surprising Results
- Striker Eureka: We thought this guy was dead. Wrong. Quilly + Striker + Binary ranks #2 with 71.2% performance. He is back on the menu, boys.
- Asuka: Don't sleep on her. While she is the "weakest" offensive buff hero on paper, she helps Quilly deploy his pulses faster, landing a spot in the Top 5 comps.
Pro Tips

1. Don't chase Collab ghosts.
If you see a hero like *Optimus Prime, Shinji, or Tiger* on a tier list but you missed the event, stop looking. Focus on the farmable meta (Brady, Marvy, Barbie for starters).
2. The Meta is Navy vs. Air Force right now.
Army (Tanks) is solid, but the current "rocket tag" meta favors Air Force snipers and Navy sustain. Build accordingly.
3. Level 5 is the great equalizer.
A perfect Level 5 comp of A-tier heroes will beat a messy Level 7 comp of random S-tiers. Synergy > Rarity.
Conclusion
That’s the lay of the land, Commanders. The game changes fast, but if you stick to these S-tier picks and avoid the collaboration traps, you will be climbing the ranks in no time.
What do you think? Did I rank your main too low?
