Lucy is a true-blue hacker, through and through. Protocol manipulation, enemy infiltration, DEF shred, target lockdown—she can even make foes temporarily switch sides. Her whole kit screams Cyberpunk. And guess what? WuWa basically lifted the "quick-hack" playstyle straight into Wuthering Waves.
With all those protocols, RAM points, deceptive programs, and epic Cyberspace animations, Lucy plays nothing like a traditional character. She feels like a real Night City netrunner.
Let's break down her skills, rotation, team role, and synergies—and see just how broken this cool, elegant cyber-hacker really is!

Lucy Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Element: Spectro | Weapon: Pistols
What truly makes Lucy feel "so not like a Wuthering Waves character" is her Resonance Liberation: Netrunner. When activated, she fully dives into Cyberspace, pulls up a special protocol interface, and shifts your camera perspective. You then spend RAM points to unleash various hacks: dealing damage, shredding DEF, buffing damage, lowering enemy attack power, granting a chance to dodge—and even Cyberpsychosis, which makes enemies temporarily switch sides (lightwave-class only, though). Turning foes into friends is just too fun. I can't wait to watch mobs beat each other up like a gladiator pit.
Lucy Skill Priority
According to her skill kit, Unlock her two innate skills first—Ghost Cyberware and Process Breach. Then follow this order:
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill
Lucy is a Spectro pistol user built around Quick-Hack and Algorithm Compression. Unlike traditional characters, she doesn't just spam basic attacks. Instead, she constantly "hacks" the battlefield using her Skill and Liberation.
By accumulating Transfer Protocol, she enters a special Algorithm Compression state. Her Heavy Attack then evolves into a chain: Single-Thread → Dual-Thread → Multi-Thread. The whole rhythm feels like you're cracking a system layer by layer—super mechanical and satisfying.
Her core damage loop? Stack Root Privilege, then unleash Heavy Attack: Multi-Thread. It has massive scaling, applies Hack: Deflection, and if she has SQL stacks, the damage gets even crazier. This is one of Lucy's biggest burst sources.

Other Choice

Lux & Umbra
Rarity:★★★★★ |
Phasic Homogenizer Rarity:★★★★★ |
Solar Flame
Rarity:★★★★ |
Lucy's signature weapon is deeply tied to her source material, with incredibly high fidelity. Fans of the original will find it very hard to resist. In terms of stats and effects, this weapon is also excellent—offering very generous bonuses to Spectro DMG, Heavy Attack DMG, and DEF ignore. If you plan to run Lucy as your main DPS for high-difficulty content, her signature is highly recommended.
However, due to the collab-exclusive 【Hack: Breach】 mechanic, its general usability is low.
For substitute options, Gabriella's signature weapon (which provides partial Heavy Attack buffs) is a solid choice. The second-phase standard banner weapon Phasic Homogenizer is also excellent—easy to trigger and highly compatible with her kit. For 4-star options, the battle pass weapon Solar Flame is your best bet, as it also offers Heavy Attack DMG bonuses.

Lucy Echo
Sonata Set
Since the new echo set activates with just one piece, Lucy's echo setup in most cases follows a 1+2+2 pattern. Unlike Rebecca, who barely has any options, Spectro sets in Wuthering Waves are as common as roadside echoes. So Lucy's combinations are actually very flexible.

Resonance Chain
- Sequence 1 – The Moon, a Ticket, and a Longing Glance: Interruption resistance & debuff spread
- Sequence 2 – The Blackwall, the Past, and the Escape: Increased initial RAM capacity & significantly higher multipliers
- Sequence 3 – Cyberpunk: Increased Resonance Liberation multipliers, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG
- Sequence 4 – No Living Legends in Night City: Team-wide damage buff
- Sequence 5 – A Short Circuit to Hell: Increased survivability
- Sequence 6 – I Really Want to Stay at Your House: Massively increased damage & extended stasis duration
You can really feel the thoughtfulness behind Lucy's Resonance Chain. That Sequence 6 name alone hits so many players right in the feels. Now there's really no excuse not to pull.
Pulling Recommendation:
0+1 → 2+1 (complete gameplay transformation – highly recommended) → 6+1 / 6+5 (final form – all of Solaris becomes your personal server)
Team Composition
Collab Team |
||
|
Lucy |
|
Shorekeeper / Mornye / Verina |
Lucy and Rebecca are both collab characters, and their kits have tons of synergies — they're hands down the best duo.
For the healer slot, since both Lucy and Rebecca have long on-field uptime, the best choice is Mornye at S1.
Lucy + Iuno + Healer |
||
|
Lucy |
Iuno / Lynae |
Shorekeeper / Verina |
As a Heavy Attack-focused DPS, Lucy can follow the standard Solaris locals' team-building approach. Choose Iuno as her dedicated Heavy Attack support, or opt for Lynae who offers strong general-purpose support capabilities.
Budget-Friendly |
||
|
Lucy |
Moteffi |
Shorekeeper / Verina |
Using the 4-star character Moteffi as the Heavy Attack support, this team still performs excellently despite its low cost. It's perfect for new Rovers who just joined the game specifically for this collab.
Conclusion
Lucy is one of the most unique characters in Wuthering Waves right now. Her playstyle isn't just a "skill rotation"—it genuinely feels like you're playing as a cyber-hacker. It might feel overwhelming at first, but once it clicks, she's super smooth and seriously addictive.
She deals solid damage, brings tons of CC, and pairs perfectly with Rebecca (they're basically a locked-in duo).
Hope this guide helps—good luck bringing this elite netrunner home and hacking all of Solaris into a glorious crash!
