October Wuthering Waves Recap: Major Events & Updates

Wuthering Waves is set to receive its Version 2.7 update in October. So, what else is in store for the game this month? The LDShop Blog has summarized the key event schedule for you right here!

 

October Major Events

10.1-10.8 Chord Cleansing

The Bountiful Crescendo event grants players double the Echo and Echo upgrade materials from Tacet Suppressions. You can claim these double drops three times daily for the normal cost of 60 Waveplates (resets at 4:00 AM Server Time). Note that the 120 Waveplate claim is unavailable for these bonus runs. To participate, ensure you have reached Union Level 19; focusing on main and side quests is the fastest way to level up.

10.11 Lament Recon: Solaris Soldier

• Eligibility
  • Reach Union Level 14
  • unlock the Resonance Nexus in Ragunna City during Main Quest "The Sacred Breeze So Often Breathes.
• Event Rules
  • Choose a participating Resonator and dive into simulated combat drills! Under a special tactical view, you'll direct them as they fend off waves of enemies with brand-new weapons. As you battle, spend the Enhancement Modules gained to power up your Resonator or improve their weapons. To clear a drill, you must survive every wave of attack.
  • If you have any unclaimed rewards when the event ends, you can log in within 30 days aftenward to claim themin your Mail

This is the new simulation event in version 2.7. In this event, you can join with Galbrena, Iuno and Ciaccona for a simulation drill against the Dark Tide. You will earn rewards, like Astrites, an exclusive event Sigil "Lighthouse and Blake Bloom" Medal and Avatar "Lighthouse and Blake Bloom".

 

10.13 Tower of Adversity

Vigor System

Each Resonator consumes Vigor to challenge stages. Higher difficulty stages require more Vigor. If a Resonator runs out of Vigor, they cannot be used again in the same zone—plan your team usage carefully.

Vigor Is Zone-Specific

Vigor is separate for each zone. Using a character in one zone does not affect their Vigor in others.

Complete Stages Quickly

Defeat all enemies within the time limit to earn full stars. Focus on clearing stages efficiently to maximize your rewards.
