New Charcaters
Ye Shunguang

Rarity: S-Rank | Specialty: Attack | Attribute: Physic
Ye Shunguang is already turning heads—her PV shows her summoning skyborne swords and transforming into a white-haired, red-eyed wielder of the dangerous Qingming Sword. Built around explosive finishing-move bursts, she pairs naturally with Dialyn’s Chain Attack and Zhao’s Ether support.
Zhao

Rarity: S-Rank | Specialty: Defense | Attribute: Ice
Zhao is a second S-tier limited Defense unit focused on max-HP scaling and Ice damage. She offers team protection plus utility—healing, Ether Veil activation, and elemental buffs. Her talent converts overheal into teamwide ATK and lets allies bypass enemy resistances, making her tanky, supportive, and surprisingly versatile.
Multiplayer Co-op Mode

Version 2.5 adds a new PvE co-op mode emphasizing teamwork through online matchmaking. Players pick agents in a lobby (only the host chooses stages) and the system handles declines automatically. Role-based suggestions like DPS, Break, Support, and Daze Master help teams coordinate.
Co-op missions include Annihilation, Elite, Timed, Speed Challenges, Elemental Domains, Alarm Hacking, Treasure Hunt, and Final Battle, each with unique goals, scoring, and optional challenges. A server-wide progression system lets players unlock new commissions, high-risk modes, and rewards like research items, gadgets, clues, and chests.
The update also introduces a temporary build system with cards and emblems for stat boosts and co-op effects, plus agent-specific equipment. Quick communication, teammate revives, and mission rewards like resonator badges enhance the multiplayer experience, which currently features 8 stages and 20 investigation levels.
New Large-scale Social System
The new social system brings two big features: the Ropesmith Information Station and the Dynamic Information Board, letting players post commissions and help each other out. You earn site points just by playing and joining community activities—using stamina, building activity points, chatting, or clearing commissions. These points level up your site, expand its member cap, and give the whole group a sense of progression.
Finishing commissions rewards you with Carrot Points and Site Credibility. Carrot Points can be traded for goodies, while Credibility boosts your authority level and unlocks exclusive titles. You can only take one commission at a time and you’ve got 30 minutes to clear it, so every run feels meaningful. Clearing commissions also raises your forum status, opening better shop items and more titles.
Overall, it’s a lively, player-driven system that makes teamwork, interaction, and community growth feel rewarding and fun.
Major Changes in Shiyu Defense Battle

The Shiyu Defense Battle now has 5 stages, with the fifth split into three rooms using a new points-based system. Scores depend on damage dealt and enemy defeats, with a max of 60,000 points per stage and multipliers based on completion speed. S+ requires S ranks in all rooms and 90,000 total points. Rewards scale by floor, including Poly, Awakening Currency, and Investigation Merits.
The Critical Node system is streamlined to 5 nodes, with the fifth now score-based and requiring three teams. A new shop currency boosts Polychrome rewards (720 → 780) and can be spent on Awakened Potentials, old event weapons, upgrade materials, and Boopons.
New Bosses
Story Boss: new humanoid boss

The 2.5 story boss comes with 30 base DEF and a 200% Stun Damage multiplier, staying stunned for 12 seconds. It has –20% Physical RES, making physical teams hit harder, but it also holds 40% Ether and Ice RES, so those elements deal less damage. Its base buildup is 37.5%, and the boss cannot be frozen.
2nd Boss

The second boss is tougher with 60 base DEF and the same 200% Stun Damage multiplier plus a 12-second stun window. It takes extra damage from Ether and Physical thanks to –20% RES, but it’s more resistant to Fire with 20% RES. It also has 25% base buildup and, like the first boss, is immune to freeze.
New Optimization
Ether Battery

60 Backup Battery Charge + 1Prepaid Power Card can be exchanged for 1 Ether Battery. Batteries can be used in auto-clears, with optional auto-dismantle for items of rarity A or B.
New Side Panel
A new side panel lets you quickly access shops, journey, team prep, warehouse, collaborator profiles, sites, intelligence board, friends, and your personal page. It also supports wallpapers and charms—one set is available in the new “Carrot” shop, while the rest have no current way to obtain.
Tuning Calibrator
Regarding the number of Tuning Calibratorconsumed for sub-stats: 1 sub-stat consumes 1 Calibrator. 2 sub-stats consume 2 Calibrator. Maximum of 2 sub-stats can be enhanced.
Old Characters Buffs

Version 2.5 will feature specific power-ups for standard characters!
Burnice now gets extra attacks and new Anomaly triggers. Her EX skills let her perform invulnerable flamethrower dashes that hit hard and gain bonus effects on Anomaly targets. Her Unlock Potential further boosts Anomaly Mastery and reduces Afterburn cooldowns.
New Events
“Unveil” Shop

Collect items in the Lemnian Hollows to earn Exploration Points, level up in the “Unveil” Shop, and claim rewards like 600 Polychrome.
Hotpot Restaurant

She is the owner of the hotpot restaurant. You can meet her once the restaurant opens, and dining there will boost your stats.
404 livehouse

Version 2.5 adds the new 404 Livehouse, located on Sixth Street, and it’s closely tied to the upcoming 2.6 Angels of Delusion event.
