Rewards Selection Advice

I suggest everyone choose from the limited characters (Burnice, Jane, and Qingyi). This is because we can obtain permanent characters from the standard stable channel. There is also a chance to pull permanent characters while pulling on limited banners; plus, after 300 pulls on the standard banner, you can manually select a permanent character of your choice. Therefore, I don’t recommend using this opportunity on a permanent character.

Similarly, I suggest choosing a limited W-Engine, as permanent W-Engines can be exchanged for in the shop.

Flamemaker Shaker

Effect: While off-field, the wearer's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/s. When an EX Special Attack or Assist Attack hits an enemy, the wearer's DMG increases by 3.5%, stacking up to 10 times and lasting for 6s. This effect triggers once every 0.3s. While off-field, the stacking effect is doubled. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Upon gaining a DMG increase, if the current stacks are 5 or higher, the wearer's Anomaly Proficiency increases by 50. This bonus does not stack and lasts for 6s.

This rare W-Engine restores off-field energy and significantly enhances Anomaly effects for Burnice after she is upgraded. If your Burnice doesn't have her signature weapon, this W-Engine is an excellent choice.

Ice-Jade Teapot

Effect: When a Basic Attack hits an enemy, gain 1 stack of Tea-riffic. Each stack of Tea-riffic increases the user's Impact by 0.7%, stacking up to 30 times, and lasting for 8s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Upon acquiring Tea-riffic, if the equipper possesses stacks of Tea-riffic greater than or equal to 15, all squad members' DMG is increased by 20% for 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

A highly versatile W-Engine that increases Impact and team-wide DMG. This meta-defining W-Engine is suitable for Qingyi, Lighter, Trigger, and Von Lycaon.

Sharpened Stinger

Effect: Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper's Physical DMG by 12% for 10s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stacks, the equipper's Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40%.

A W-Engine that significantly boosts Physical DMG and Anomaly Buildup Rate, greatly improving Jane's performance. However, its versatility is low, so I only recommend picking it if Jane doesn't have her signature weapon.

The Brimstone

Effect: Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter, the equipper's ATK increases by 3.5% for 8s, stacking up to 8 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

A highly versatile Attack W-Engine often used as a substitute when signature weapons are unavailable. While it lacks Crit stats, its trigger conditions are very easy to meet. If you want to choose a permanent W-Engine, this one is highly recommended.

 

Conclusion

If you pick a standard character over a limited powerhouse like Jane or Burnice, don't come crying to me! Play smart, pick the limiteds, and save the "waifu/husbando over meta" choices for when you're already carrying the team.
